Bro got springlocked at 1:50 D: But no seriously, the tracing from a human reference is what made the game so terifying I feel- besides the amazing atmosphere and build up! Amazing
I love how much effort he put into the acting and even costuming lmao. It might have looked a bit goofy by itself, but it sure paid off well for the game!
one of my favorite rotoscopes in the entire game would probably be the possessed convulsing father john and father john looking behind him to see the demon. watching the rotoscopes next to the OG clips feels so satisfying
Damn, the gunshot part looks amazing! He really acted pretty nice there, i love how you can clearly see his arms go limp after the first shot in the head, when you're acting these types of scenes you need to keep a track on everything your body is doing to make it look natural and believable, Airdorf did a great job!
I imagine it would've been easier to just trace the actual collar part instead of adding it in-post and struggling to keep it aligned with the neck, whereas Amy's hair could be added in post easily as long as you can imagine how that hair would realistically move. In the shot where Airdorf/Amy removes the cloth from their heads, I think he even traced over the bits of hair that were lifted up from his own head after pulling it off, so that's about as close to accurately tracing his hair for Amy as you'll get.
What makes Faith so good, is that it feels like it belongs to the 1990s...and yet you know if it did, it would be as popular as the retro classics. It feels like a masterpiece that just didn't happen in the correct point of time.
Really impressive. This game did a fantastic job of minimalist horror and the unnerving fluidity of rotoscoping for these cut scenes stood out tremendously against the rigid Atari-esque sprites. I seriously appreciate the work that went into showcasing such creativity!
I love how he transitions from looking like he’s reluctantly there for a paycheck to making sure he’s earned every penny by transforming into something else entirely, and then back. What a professional.
The standing up and casually walking away parts are so relatable lol. The concept of filming your own reference videos is always awkward but so worth it for these great animations!!

I'm from MI and a local Post-Rock band used some footage from clips of your game in their backing video and it was so greatly used and I think I was the only one in the crowd who knew what they were from. Great work. This game is one of my favorites.
