I was allowed to date at 15, but I had a boyfriend I sneaked around with at 14. He was 16. He was a close friend of mine's brother. They had just moved to the suburb next to where I grew up and I met them through one of my cousins. By the time my parents allowed me to date him, we'd been together for almost a year! LOL! 😅 I imagine most kids sneaked around a little bit, especially during the time I was growing up during the late 60's and early 70's.
My parents still don't want me to date and I'm in my early twenties lmao! African parents are a trip for real! Courting before marriage is a foreign subject to them!

I started dating (my definition of dating is getting to know the person, hanging out with them (publicly) etc etc) when I was 23 I just turned 24 Dec 23rd lol what is life!? Lol
