Snack Hacker with George Egg - Wild Garlic Bread

The window for getting hold of one of the spring's best foraged ingredients is closing but if you’re lucky there’s still a bit around. So why not get some and shove it in your shop-bought supermarket-bog-standard garlic baguette.
    INGREDIENTS:
    1 garlic baguette
    Wild garlic leaves and flowers
    Mozzarella
    Parmesan
    Olive oil
    Salt and pepper
    METHOD:
    Fold a couple of wild garlic leaves around a slice of mozzarella and shove into the pre-cut slashes in the garlic baguette. Trickle with oil, season generously and wrap in foil. Cook at 200ºC for about 10 minutes, then open the foil and cook for a further 5-6 mins to brown everything up. Finish with parmesan and the flowers. Don’t burn your mouth.
