I heard this song at my sons funeral today, it was his favorite song. He was only 43 years old and had 3 miracles in his life. He was 25 when he was given 12 hours to live. After the pastor and I laid hands on him we knew Jesus would let him live. He received a kidney from a living donor in church. He is in the medical journals as the sickest person from kidney failure ever to survive. Never give up on God to bring you up when your down, the church was packed with all the people he touched in his short life. I’m glad this was his favorite song and I’m glad he accepted Christ when I shared the gospel with him. I can’t wait to be in heaven with him and spend eternity with all my brothers and sisters in Christ it’s going to be awesome.😊🙏❤️

I am so sorry you are facing depression. I pray that God heals you of depression in Jesus name. I suggest that you also pray to God and ask someone you know to pray for you for healing. There may also be some sort of music that you are listening to and you may not see it but they may be causing the depression. Listen to more christian music and read your bible and pray that God heals you and I have confidence that he will. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart: Wait I say, on the lord- Psalm 27:14
It’s March 2024. I got up this morning to the sun peaking through the trees in the woods behind our house. This is precious time to praise the Lord for how great He is….The Great I Am!!! Then this song came to my mind. It was played and sung at my dad’s funeral in 1989 by a semi-famous country western singer by the name of Jimmy Walker, who was an acquaintance of dad. I came to YT looking for a “perfect” rendition of How Great Thou Art. This is it!!! It brought tears to my eyes as it brought up memories of dad, but brought more tears contemplating how GREAT is our Lord. Praise You Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 ♥️♥️♥️

I lost my elder sister to suicide two years ago. She loved the Lord, and she was saved, but she was beaten down by mental health issues. She was missing for three months and was found in a remote forest. The whole time she was missing, I listened to worship music, and especially this. I prayed. Sometimes I was lost for words, so I had little notes in my bible to prompt my prayers... small slips of paper with her name, my mum and dads names, her sons name..her husbands name. Every day for three months, five slips of paper. The day she was found, I went to my bible to pray. I laid out my prompts... four slips of paper. The slip of paper with her name on was missing. I felt the Lord say...'that's because you don't need to keep worrying, or praying for her now. Know that she is safe, at Home with Me.' I later found the slip of paper down the side of my bedside cabinet. Praise His name that He comforted me. See you in heaven Sis x.
This song reminds my of my grandmother sitting with me in a big chair and singing this. My mother sent me off to live with her and my grandfather and those times were the safest and most loved time in my life! She is the reason I have a relationship with the Lord. I am truly blessed to have been raised by her! ❤

I am currently past my due date in my pregnancy, today I woke up with body aches and chills, a mild headache on top of a heavy belly (backache and pelvic pain) it hasn’t been an easy pregnancy. Fear has tried me but I’ve never surrendered myself to it, because overall I know praising God even when I don’t feel Him, that’s His strength showing through within my weaknesses. Trusting and letting Him provide the way only He knows to bring only more praise and glory to His name. Because only HE IS WORTHY OF PRAISE. yeah i met jesus after my surgery when my epidural failed and they wouldn't give me pain meds and i was suffering and they gave me ketamine instead and a little doggie walked me into a room and there was jesus on the cross and he said "if i can suffer this for you you can suffer that for me" and that helped me get through 24 hours of agony after an ileocolectomy with no pain meds at all until they finally fixed my epidural.

Only God knows the heart. And only He knows the level of pain a person is in. The self righteous? Does the Bible speak of suicide. I have not found it. It says believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. The theif on the cross did not have time for good works or repenting for everything he could think of or breaking generational curses or teaching Sunday School. ALL HE DID WAS BELIEVE and Jesus said "Today you will be with me in paradise." He did not have time for testimony or sharing his faith. NOTHING. He just believed Jesus was who He said he was. That gives many great comfort.
It broke me down into tears when I first listened to it alone from my balcony over midnight beneath the sky full of stars. I really felt His Greatness and Power. My mortal heart could not bear His beauty that I cried heartfully that night.

When I feel overwhelmed and afraid I spend a long time in prayer. I often fall down. And Jesus lifts me up. I fail. And I cry out to him. And he gives me himself again and again never leaving me nor forsaking me. Makes my faith good. Takes my doubts and my fears and turns them into faith. The surrender is sweet. I fail and am not compassionate. And I tell him I'm sorry and he reminds me of my savior dying on the cross. In so much pain he didn't deserve.

Then to top it off, He sent His son to die for my salvation. I don't deserve God's sacrifice but He did it anyway. That, in my opinion, is humbling.

It’s March 2024. I got up this morning to the sun peaking through the trees in the woods behind our house. This is precious time to praise the Lord for how great He is….The Great I Am!!! Then this song came to my mind. It was played and sung at my dad’s funeral in 1989 by a semi-famous country western singer by the name of Jimmy Walker, who was an acquaintance of dad. I came to YT looking for a “perfect” rendition of How Great Thou Art. This is it!!! I lost my elder sister to suicide two years ago. She loved the Lord, and she was saved, but she was beaten down by mental health issues. She was missing for three months and was found in a remote forest. The whole time she was missing, I listened to worship music, and especially this. I prayed. Sometimes I was lost for words, so I had little notes in my bible to prompt my prayers... small slips of paper with her name, my mum and dads names, her sons name..her husbands name. Every day for three months, five slips of paper. The day she was found, I went to my bible to pray. I laid out my prompts... four slips of paper. The slip of paper with her name on was missing. I felt the Lord say...'that's because you don't need to keep worrying, or praying for her now. Know that she is safe, at Home with Me.' I later found the slip of paper down the side of my bedside cabinet. Praise His name that He comforted me. See you in heaven Sis x.

I am currently past my due date in my pregnancy, today I woke up with body aches and chills, a mild headache on top of a heavy belly (backache and pelvic pain) it hasn’t been an easy pregnancy. Fear has tried me but I’ve never surrendered myself to it, because overall I know praising God even when I don’t feel Him, that’s His strength showing through within my weaknesses. Trusting and letting Him provide the way only He knows to bring only more praise and glory to His name. Because only HE IS WORTHY OF PRAISE. yeah i met jesus after my surgery when my epidural failed and they wouldn't give me pain meds and i was suffering and they gave me ketamine instead and a little doggie walked me into a room and there was jesus on the cross and he said "if i can suffer this for you you can suffer that for me" and that helped me get through 24 hours of agony after an ileocolectomy with no pain meds at all until they finally fixed my epidural.

When i was young i didn't mind what the future will come.just a carefree woman with 2 daughters and a husband.now i'm 66 years old and for 12 years a stoke patient with osteoathritis .now i realize at my age we must treasure what Lord God had given to us agood health and we must not abuse it.everyday as i wake up always giving thanks to the Lord God Almighty.asking for forgiveness always.Amen🙏✨️🙏

Only God knows the heart. And only He knows the level of pain a person is in. The self righteous? Does the Bible speak of suicide. I have not found it. It says believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. The theif on the cross did not have time for good works or repenting for everything he could think of or breaking generational curses or teaching Sunday School. ALL HE DID WAS BELIEVE and Jesus said "Today you will be with me in paradise." He did not have time for testimony or sharing his faith. NOTHING. He just believed Jesus was who He said he was. That gives many great comfort.

As I listened to this early in the morning, a songbird arrived close to an open window and sang /trilled as if to join in. Departing shortly after the song ending.
It was beautiful to hear and also reminded me of Zephaniah 3:17
“The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Had this playing at my dad's funeral in 2017 then my mum's funeral 6 weeks later.

When I feel overwhelmed and afraid I spend a long time in prayer. I often fall down. And Jesus lifts me up. I fail. And I cry out to him. And he gives me himself again and again never leaving me nor forsaking me. Makes my faith good. Takes my doubts and my fears and turns them into faith. The surrender is sweet. I fail and am not compassionate. And I tell him I'm sorry and he reminds me of my savior dying on the cross. In so much pain he didn't deserve.
May the Lord strengthen our christianity and mend what is broken in our hearts. Remind us to call upon your name every n each moment, AMEN 🙏🙏!!!!

***** I don't think there is anything wrong with feeling small when compared to the sheer size of God's other creations. I am just in awe of God's work. Then to top it off, He sent His son to die for my salvation. I don't deserve God's sacrifice but He did it anyway. That, in my opinion, is humbling.

Sure, God is great & His power lives within us by His Spirit, but that gives us no right to treat others like they're any less than us. No one is greater than the other, God shows no partiality. I sang this to my mother when she was sick in the hospital then when she passed away at the hospital and then at her funeral. Unfortunately her last dying wish was for her to be taken back to her homeland to be put to rest with our ancesters which My 2 siblings and I did, but I now, have no way of visiting her grave again. Today is Easter Monday, and I recently made up with my Mother.
God showed me the error of my ways, and my Mother is my life. She gave me life. She bore me, and on this Easter Monday when we give thanks for the lesson of love our lord taught us, I am back in the bosom of my Mother.
God is good.
