This is what happens when ravenpaw looks like hollyleaf. 😅 may someone be generous enough to tell me for sure that they defiantly know all the characters in the screens view? But I most importantly need to know who the cat is that’s dying. And whoever’s hugging him/her?
I love how you actually made Crowfeather look like he was sad that his daughter was dying- so many people just portray him as being emotionless when he actually cared about his family- he just didn't want to get in the way.
Late, but so true, while other animators make crowfeather seem heartless... they just need to understand that crowfeather was afraid to love. He thought that everyone he loved would die, that’s why he couldn’t love breezepelt or his other kits as he would love to do so. AlexHarrier, you portrayed this scene *PERFECTLY*

I love how much emotion you have in such a small amount of time. I had to go back and watch a different character each time, they were just all so expressive aaa! Really amazing job on this wow!!!

Small detail but I really like how you did Jay in the background? Like he looks like he's staring in their direction, but not _at_ them [since he's blind n all], and how reacts by pricking his ears first, like he heard her die rather than saw it.
Beautiful work overall though ;o; Can't wait to see it in the full map once it's done!

Blue Cupid yeah that’s hollyleaf in the last battle after she comes back
She saves Ivypool from Hawkfrost and ends up getting her throat cut open, Ivypool drags her to Jayfeather with the help of Tigerheart (or at least I think it was him, I read the book a long time ago)
Hollyleaf then tells Leafpool (who was helping Jayfeather with the hurt cats) “I cant die without getting to know my mother first”
Hollyleaf then dies and Jayfeather grievingly tells Leafpool that he couldn’t have done anything to save her.
If you didn’t know all of this then that’s what you get for not reading what the wonderful Animator has put in the description
It clearly has the characters written in the description, and even then if you were a true warriors fan you would know hat that was Leafpool and Hollyleaf, they are very easy to distinguish from other characters.
OH GOSH THIS IS STUNNING the expressions feel so real and everything just flows so incredibly well?? I love the reactions of the background cats too, that adds even more to the effect and I'm dyIng I lOVE LOVE THIS

I love how her face goes from trying to sooth Holly to frantic and horribly distressed, the way her tail twitches and Hollys body moves in the pain she's in and how she's shaking, how the background characters look away in grief and how the expressions so smoothly fit the song yet change so drastically. The backgrounds and animation are also smooth and well done, you did absolutely amazing!! Keep up this A+ quality work

I love how when Hollyleaf coughs Leafpool removes her paw and shakes her head a little, this is probably the best warrior map part I've seen so far!
edit: it's funny how people tell me those aren't the characters when it's clearly for a WARRIOR CATS map and the script says that Leafpool is in her medicine den and Hollyleaf is leaving her body (she's dying) so idk wth ya'll r saying

I know this is old but this mjght be my favorite-- I'm crying-- I believe I relate it hollyleaf in some way. She's all so my favorite character. But trying not to cry from this beautiful animation made my stomach hurt. Anyways, good job! Stuff like this gives me motivation to keep trying and animating no matter how hard!!
This honestly brings tears to my eyes. The emotion I can feel is just so...palpable. I made the mistake of reading the comments after my first watch and watched again to see Hollyleaf mouth "mom" and I broke.

I know im really late, but im OBSESSED with details and emotion you put in. You can tell they’re all heart broken and grieving. I also love how when hollyleaf coughs and dies leafpool jerks away and shakes her head sadly. Those little details, the emotion, the skill, and just everything is so fricking good

I was really sad for HollyLeaf's death,LeafPool and CrowFeather were there and LeafPool had her own daughter die in her paws,that must've been really sad to report to the clan

Holy hell this was gorgeous! The lip syncing, the animation, lighting and AH, it's exquisite! But then it just gets sad since I always cry during this scene. But hey, great animation!
YIKES this beautiful part alone made me cry a bit, there's so much anguish expressed in Leafpool, Crowfeather and Jayfeather's faces and I think Hollyleaf mouthed "Mom" which made my chest hurt a fair bit. If this MAP gets finished I'm gonna be torn to shreds.

Hollyleaf mouthing 'mom' and getting Leafpool's hopes up that she'll live and it'll be okay and then the shudder of death and Leafpool's grief-stricken face oml!
Jayfeather having to watch his sister die AGAIN and him trying to step forward like he wants to help and then looking away because he knows he can't and he can't bear to see it.
Ivypool sitting next to Tigerheart (who she really dislikes) and knowing that Hollyleaf sacrificed herself for her right after returning to the clans and not being able to look at it, even though she killed someone herself.
I could be (and probably am) reading far too much into it but these are my favourite characters here! Jayfeather and Ivypool and my ultimate favourites and Hollyleaf's death was one of the only deaths that ever made me cry, plus the anatomy and smoothness of the animation, the background and ahhh!
