i love the idea that a simple high school show that everybody either watched cuz they were told to or they were bored, managed to become soo many ppl's favourite show
Many people I think walked into this with some expectations that were absolutely absolutely blown out if the water with the writers popping off in script and even directors and etc.
I kinda understand why they didn't show much of TwiPor.....so many couples can shift the focus also it will kinda make their story incomplete or fast-paced.....I like how they did establish that they had a crush on each other 🥰🥰.....I'm so in love with this series💗💗
Also Mark has 2 coming BLs with Neo , I think they don't want to focus on Mark ford now, maybe in the future.
@@aloneneha4839 plus I don’t think the scriptwriter and director included the sweet moments of Tiwpor in the first place. They already changed the plot of Sound and Win character and created their love as side story.

I never thought I'd find a Thai bl I can rewatch since Bad Buddy, but here it is...this show was , as Nolan said, perfection !! I couldn't wait to see ya'll reactions...kinda sad it's over but we still get to see them on Moonlight Chicken...see you guys over there next week. Love u ❤️

I am absolutely in love with the chemistry between Gemini and Fourth. It was genius of GMMTV to pair them two. We have been blessed with so much content with these two. First we got MSP, then Moonlight Chicken (which concludes next week), then we will get to see the continuation of there characters Tinn and Gun in Our Skyy 2 (of which I think will focus on them being in University), and then we will get them in the GL 23.5 as a side couple from what I could gather from the trailer. Please GMMTV continue to bring on more projects with Gemini and Fourth. They don't always have to be a couple, but just to have them in a series together will be enough.
Fourth said in a recent interview that he was the one who requested for Gemini to be his partner 🥹
Two new songs, yes, yes we got that. Special kisses… yup. Perfect ones too :). Parents and friends being all on board, yup, definitely. This show was everything!!!!! Everyone did an absolutely outstanding job!! Writer(S) perfection 🙌🏼 . Direction team, 🖐️ for a job well done. Actors, a standing ovation!!!!! I want a season 2!!!!
Ugh THANK YOU Nolan for bringing the slander UP!! Because that’s all that i saw on the MyDramaList MSP Comment Section, people were talking about how they dropped watching the series and giving it a low rating BECAUSE they wanted them to kiss, make out or be mature.
I tried defending the MSP series by mentioning how this is a innocent, wholesome, high school love series and that not getting a kiss was fine for me because MSP is perfect with or without.
I got called a boy love fetishist and homophobic, sufficed to say i left that site faster than you can say MySchoolPresident.

I love that you’re talking about the creators and about supporting queer creators! I’ve been so frustrated for years watching reactors who show no interest in the creators and then make a bunch of assumptions about them that aren’t even true! So it’s so refreshing to see that acknowledgment for them!! Love this show so much, it’s proof that a highschool BL or queer story CAN be done well!❤❤❤
I have spent the last two days watching reaction posts for MSP and MLC, and I have to say that these two very different series have revealed a wide gap between viewers that just want to see "boys kissing" versus viewers that want to see BLs (especially Thai BLs) with some semblance in reality, in what it is truly like for LGBTQ+ individuals in our current world.
I only started watching BLs in 2021, but even I can see that there has been a significant change in how some of these BLs are being adapted for TV dramas. You can't have an "anything goes" mentality anymore, and I am glad that some viewers are ready for these changes.
I didn't imagine this series can be this good at first when I watched the trailer, but this series became my favorite,

TinnGun are the top standard about senior high love, kind unbeatable, they both good, nice, talented, looking two kind soul falling in love, is a beautiful experience.
recently year we saw too many toxic relationship in bl series, kind tired, I am glade they portray this series in a healthy way.
I can see everyone, the scrip writer, the producer, the actors, they all put much effort and heart in this series.

anyway the last 2 osts🤩🥹🥹🥹😍😍, one gives people courage and the ending ost well, it makes me so emotional😭😭🥺🥺, the characters are saying goodbye to their high school life and we are saying goodbye to this brilliant show after excellent 12 weeks!😭🥺🥹🥹🥺honestly, didn’t expect this show to be this good and so relatable to people in real life at that age and that time period!!👌👌👌👌🤗🤗 my god!!
But I wished that my high school life was like this, sadly my high school life way back was nothing like this at all, so I feel gun and others are so lucky, when they grow up becoming adults and recall back to all this memory, they would feel so blessed; and cherished that they got to experience all that once in their life time (the good the bad the sadness, crisis, the excitement etc..) all together with a group of friends you call family and also a supportive wonderful boyfriend who’s like everything everyone ever hoped for as a lover in their lives!!

This memory, experience, will be with them forever and impact their future as well, gosh, now I so envy them, they had this, and the actors playing this also had wonderful memories together that they will never forget😭🤗🤗😭😭why didn’t I have this kinda of high school life back then!!😭😭😭😭😭anyway, super fantastic finale and the whole series!! i've been having to mentally prepare myself to watch this reaction because once it's over, then it's going to hit me that it's over. that being said, i can't wait to watch the episode again with you all.
update: it's 3am and it turns out i'm still in denial. i just cannot wrap my head around the fact that there's no more. i can only imagine how much of a mess i'm going to be after our skyy 2 lmao
the only coherent thought i have about the show right now is that it just felt so human and in such a high quality way - the acting, the production, the screenwriting, the music, just everything was perfect and i think that is why i'm going to miss it; the way it made me feel as a viewer and as a person. it almost just felt like i was watching a snapshot period of these "people"'s lives rather than a series.
Well, i am still not over MSP! I am still searching for reactions so i can rewatch it with others. It's so tough to watch other BLs atm!

MSP is a true masterpiece, I love that they deviated from the original story gave us a GREAT show This show NEEDS an award and its so rewatchable DAMN Like everyone involved is phenomenal. I totally agree that I'd be genuinely surprised if any show can top MSP for BL of the Year.

Def in my top 3 BLs of all time! Especially a GMM production and high school setting! It’s so beautifully done, the chemistry is brilliant, the friendships are so real and authentic, meaningful storylines, believable and just so heart rending! ❤️🥰 I felt for all the characters and I was rooting for the leads from the start till the end. A round of applause for the cast and crew, the writing is also sooo good!! Wow! I will miss them so much!
We should also understand that these people acting in this are kids, It's just way beyond me to get the level of understanding they got for the characters they're presenting, I couldn't see a flow. Just think what would their acting be like at an age where they're more mature and experienced. especially Gemini and Fourth, I expect to see wonders from them in the future.

Tinn’s mom kinda reminds me of Pai’s parents in My Gear and Your Gown. They assumed everything was alright because Pai wasn’t saying anything and was just obediently following. All that time, they were thinking that they were doing the best for their son, unaware that he wasn’t happy, but was too afraid to speak up. I love how they gave a wake-up call to parents to create a better environment for their kids where they can be comfortable to share their thoughts and feelings without judgment. And another thing I loved is the lack of a toxic female character, and yes, also the whole “let’s break up for your sake” trope. I like the realistic amount and type of angst they included, and the fast resolution of these problems without it feeling too rushed. And those kiss scenes were so tastefully done and appropriate to age, and they were real kisses too. I’m so gonna miss this series! It really is one of the best.

Perfection, just perfection. This is up there with Heartstopper and Young Royals.
I'll tell you why. This show had all the hallmarks at the start of being a bad show. But everyone who worked on it was on it and making the right decisions. It could have so easily been another "BL" where there is a thin veneer of a plot held together by convenience and miscommunication, a show that's just a vehicle for having two pretty boys in love.
in stead we got a story that was a character study, we got to know the characters, their dreams, hopes and fears and their relationships with family and friends and they did it well and with a mind of who the audience is and the message the show is sending. I love how it was a wholesome comedy but they sprinkled in all these real things you go through at that point in life. We were shown why these two characters are in love, even the damn side couple SoundWin we got an insight into. That kiss in the final episode with soundwin not expected or needed, but they went there with satisfaction. I think it was the right decision to keep TiwPor as the crumbs it was because we also don't want to dilute the time too much. If they had a second season though... they don't but they should.
I'm gonna miss this show so much and your reactions to it. Greenflags all around, the wonderful message about coming together and supporting each other and that the older generation can choose to be better. chefs kiss.

Just want to say that I love your discussion/review after you're finished watching. You brought up so many good points and spitting straight-up facts. MSP has become one of my favourite BLs ever and I'm also completely in love with the OST. They sang like 14 songs in this show, that's a full-ass album! And they're all legit so good, not just to enhance the story of the show, but as stand-alone original songs and covers.
Oh, and just to add my 2 cents to the female vs male writers discussion: I think it's more about straight vs queer writers rather than female vs male. These female writers are generally straight and are therefore quite heteronormative (and sometimes fetishizing) in their writing. But as a queer woman (even one that's also into men, since I'm bi) I relate so much more to shows like MSP, to shows produced/written/directed by queer men (or just queer people in general). Like you, I also hope this trend of BLs being made with actual queer people in mind (as opposed to just str8 fangirls) continues and becomes the norm.

I enjoyed watching the last episode of MSP again with you all. I’am a mother too and can relate to what you all have said on every topic and issues. I also loved the development of the parents as well as the students themselves. What I like to add is that if you respect and treat everyone (even your children) as individuals and focus on them and not because of others what they say or may say, a lot wil be better and can be solved. Because if we seriously invest in our children/family they’ll be less insecure and more trusty. It begins with ourselves if we want changes. But unfortunately the older generation (and not everyone) is still afraid what others say or how they see their families. Why because we grew up with these values and that’s the norm of the society (that’s what everyone thinks because of this). This isn’t only in Asian families but in all families all over the world and maybe in some families it’s not a big deal and in an others it is, that differs. Our job as parents is to be a good example , support and guide our children but first of all we have to really listen to them. It doesn’t mean you can’t have different opinions, but if we communicate and also respect our children’s opinion too, then as a parent we can develop and be more openminded. Because it’s not always we teach our children but they’ll teach us too. So adjusting to each other is the key as the society is changing too. And what we see is that slowly there’re improvements so stay positive 🙏🧿🍀😍I loved the songs, awesome lyrics and used at the perfect times. And not to forget the acting of all of them, the writing, directing, editing, everything. MSP is a good example with sincere messages to us all ❤This is definitely an award winning masterpiece 👏👏

i heard this show was catered towards yes teens and kids but also towards parents who dont know how to treat their children that are part of the lgbtq+ community. i loved the talk u guys had after this, great review. agreed with every point
the script was incredible. whoever wrote the script, so much love to them. they got all the character's dialogues perfectly. no awkwardness, the cliche lines and informative lines were received well and very self-aware, the actors carried them out amazingly. for a simple wholesome show they probably didnt know whether it would be successful, they all acted their asses out and delivered some of the best acting in bl. ive watched bls for 4yrs now and my school president has taken my no.1 spot. i still havent watched some popular ones so it might change, but i doubt it. this show had everything i loved. it was just the perfect example of healthy relationships and a wholesome plot with comedy done well, angst done well and conflict done well.
this show just radiates love and warmth. as someone who has never experienced love and is always on the verge of giving up on it, this show made me believe in it.
i have seen complaints about the lack of quality of all areas in recent bls and all i can say is, i can not relatable to that sentiment especially since my school president has been released. i dont get what ur watching, but im seeing change and a good one. one that doesnt bring down or generalise the lgbtq+ community. bls that are not just made to generate money and fandoms.
Idk if this is true but Mick Metas (Metawin's brother) was supposedly casted to be Prom's partner during their prom but was unable to do it because he went to Europe to study 😂

Yeah I read the novel and 1000% the series is a whole lot better. Tinns character was a 360 from the novel and it was frustrating ……it’s not a bad 1x time read but I will definitely stick with the series version ❤ this was an amazing series

ngl, i feel bad about not watching this on GMMTV channel cos i wanna enjoy watching it the first time with u guys. i wanna feel like i was watching it with my friends online too. lol...... this was such a lovely end of the series, it was very satisfying. this is one of those series where all ur questions were answered at every end of each episode. kudos to the entire team especially the writers, the way they tackled issues in a "very healthy way" (i don't know if it's a very accurate term for it lol) and how it should be presented was well done. they should be proud of the result. i'm so happy this made my heart feel full.

You even point out some critical aspects of BL that this show doesn't repeating, but building it in a great way, as you say 'a passionate project', screen writer problem and so much more that make me come to realization and understanding, both the show and your messages.
I also love the sense of humor when you guys watch together. This often makes me scream 'STOP' in a really good way because I genuinely enjoying it.

i have this crazy thought that almost all of the female writers of a BL story was just taken from a typical male-female relationship and then they just substituted the gender so that it can be categorized as BL. 🤷🏻♂️
My mom is not a fan of "coming out". Ever since me and my siblings were kids, she would literally say 'I wish my kids were gay'. Not in a way of trying to force it on us or anything. She said it because (1) she has no issue with homosexuality and having 4 kids, there was a probability of at least one being gay and (2) she wouldn't have to worry about us having kids young. Mind you, I also think that's an issue [being a teen/ young adult parent is NOT hereditary]. But anyway, she feels "coming out" doesn't help progress the mindset that homosexuality is, in fact, normal. No one comes out, feeling anxious and/or scared, to say they are heterosexual. Why? Because society's mindset is rooted in heteronormativity. For my mother, if you're gay, just show up with your partner and introduce them. Just go through the motions of what any couple does when parents learn their child is in a relationship. As for the 1 out of 4 kids of hers that are on the homo spectrum...... yeah, that's me 🤣. Gender isn't an issue for me. I just need a deep connection and I'm all in.
Its very wrong to wish any of ur child was gay or queer. because gays go through so much trauma realistically speaking. I wish they let tinn talk about his gay trauma growing up .
@@Imetwurld_ I agree. My mother should have never said that. Especially since she meant it as a way to wish her kids wouldn't have children young. And it also rings a bit mocking to the ears. She hasn't said it since we were kids and it hasn't influenced any of our sexualities. And it would have been nice to see Tinn speak on his own fear of coming out to his parents (his mother in particular). What exactly, besides assuming he was attracted to women, really made him certain that his mother would reject him for being gay?..
@@paris2______ they is nothing wrong with having kids young tbh. Being gay just brings too many trauma to wish that upon your offspring. I'm not saying being gay is bad ,if your children are gay fine but I've heard alot of gay people attempt suicide just because of realising they like the same sex . Its traumatic .being different is. No one wants to b hated for no reason just for being different. I know it's 2023 but they is still alot of homophobia infact obsessive homophobia but I wouldn't say it's as bad as it was three years ago when gay people are usually physically attacked for being gay or looked at as crazy or were looked down upon for being gay.

Even during prom night, we can still see that not everyone is ok with relationships like tinngun, I’m so glad that they showed us that, not just like everyone there is so supportive and happy, it still touches reality that tells you there’s still people there that are not ok, but the important message to remember is that no matter who has what opinions, what matters the most is that you 2 love each other and support/trust each other, your family understands and supports, your friends are happy there along with you and there are also so many people supporting you, so just don’t care or think about those people who don’t understand too much, they don’t matter, don’t let them get to your head and doubt yourself for being who you are!! I do wish Kajorn recorded the BS the teacher was saying to Gun in the student council room before he walked out and punched him. Or Tiw recording the conversation between the Principal, teacher, and 3 students. Why? Because I want it to be posted online to the entire school so the teacher's sh*tty mouth/behavior can be outed to the entire student body and fellow educators so he'll "voluntarily" quit his job. But then when he tries to get hired at other schools, he'll be denied due to how he treats his students instead of embracing and guiding them as he should.
