I've gotten 3 glowing masks so far. 1 alien and 2 unicorns I traded the 2 unicorns for a glowing SQB and a Glowing Robot I just don't look like the look of them. The normal masks I've been putting on my vendor for 10 caps each. And when the event is over I'm going to take them all off and gift them to new players I come across.
After +50 active event runs on Steam, I finally managed to score a glowing mask (alien) earlier this evening and I called it a day. RNGjesus was putting me through hell. Even had to deal with people nuking the event aite. Also I actually got the butter churn plans a total of four times. I left all the extra plans at the Wayward donation box. The sun mask is still my fave.
Depends if your talking about pc or consoles bc I've seen people sell all new glowing ones as a set for $20. When on console they're going for $40-75 per.
Good point in that there might be a price difference depending on platform, didn't consider that. I'm on PC. Don't know/care about the value for real life currency though, only for in game currency/items.
This is my first Fasnacht event and luckily I've been able to run it over 50 times so far. No butter churn but I have gotten the glowing blue devil and honeybee masks, plus all of the other common ones and a few rares. Hopefully more will drop but if not it's still been entertaining. The donation box however needs to change.

I don’t trust player to player trading because half the time, you get nothing until you are the one to trade first, then after you trade, the other player logs out with their illgotten gain. Also, to answer the title card image’s question: all of them because most players sell for 5000 plus up to 500000 plus caps due to digital greed. I sell cheap with the following rules: discount calculator use, input the game’s suggested cap value, then calculate discount. All plans, recipes and mutation serums are 75% off, with everything else 50% off. Items with 0 value are free items.
So far I've gotten 1 glowing alien, 2 glowing turkeys (although aK XenoV stole one from me on xbox during a trade) 1 glowing robot, 1 glowing SBQ , 1 Crazy Guy and 1 Buffoon mask as drops. I have been double dipping the events as much as possible by speedrunning and quickly joining a new server, manage to stack 3 events once. Haven't done any afk grinds since I don't have a wired controller but best I'd say is to avoid Xbox LFG trading and stick to Market 76.
So... I really don't like Fasnacht. And yet I managed to walk away with a Glowing SBQ mask and a Winter Helmet. I have no idea what to do with them. No, I'm not going to just give them away.

I’ve done about 30 active fasnacht events, and AFKed another 50 at least. 8 x butter churns 4 x Helvetian flower display 1 x glowing robot 1 x Hag mask 1 x Loon mask Fifty million owls,honey bees,soldiers,suns,witches,giants, goblins and skulls. It seems like the drop rates are WAY lower than before. At this stage of the event last time, I had 3 glowing masks. I suspect the increase in possible mask drops has shrunk the chance of rare rates considerably.
Yeah took me a long time to get the butter churn but then after I got it I just keep getting it now, I've got multiple copies of all the recipe/plans I think except the Beeswax candle which I haven't gotten once, Done the even like 50-70 time got 1 Glowing turkey and a Buffoon mask for the rare.
@@shysenpai3437 It's just the winterman power armor helmet that is non-tradable. All other Fasnacht masks are tradable. Edit: It can only be worn with the T-45 power armor.

Haha i got the glowing unicorn and was keeping it around for a bit but today i saw this one player runing around with the regular one at all the events level 75 i think anyway befor i got off he and some outhers diced to pay my camp a visit (DEATHLY's Shop) and were buying some stuff i gave some Legendaries away to the others but saw that one player runing around playing some of my nuke-a-cade games i have set up and was by them selfs so i got the mask out of my shelfs and gave to him after he won the game cus i had no real need for it it was cool but hope they have more fun with it (stop by DEATHLY'S for all your death dealing needs ) ✌️ lol

These rare masking including new glowing mask are gradually dropping in value cause there’s literally hundreds to thousands of players afk the event farming for the mask.
I really hate this event. Players just sit there all day to get the mask. Caps aren't an issue once you hit 150. I gave away a bloodied handmade to a player who needed it.
Glowing masks reach up to a few hundred thousand so yeah people are gonna stand around to get the rare glowing masks, the new glowing masks might be worth less though but as time passes the price will go up
It would be nice to see some more activity indeed. Unfortunately, as icry pointed out, it will keep happening as long as people have a chance to get a very expensive item. I don't mind if these people normally put in effort towards completing most events and decide to afk once in a while, but I doubt that's the majority.

The in game max caps is indeed 40k, but in trading things reach higher values than max caps (Reddit/Discord, Market 76). It's just a way to gauge an items value, no one actually trades them for caps, they would trade a similarly valued item/items.
To be fair, after all this toxicity, and people not earning their's: Every time I see someone with a mask I just assumed they put a rubberband around their controller to get it. Unless it is some level 20 who just walked out of the vault, I don't care anymore. Greed ruins everything even the spirit of Fasnacht...
The amount of afk people does suck and it makes the event less fun. My recommendation is to pay less attention to what other people have, and bask in the happiness of receiving a booming drop! :) Comparison is the thief of joy, as they say.
AFKers don't make it any harder or impact your rewards at all, drops are now entirely on a pass or fail basis, 1 robot of 5 making it to the effigy half an hour after the event starts will pay out equally as well as 5/5 getting there in 10 minutes.

The other half has to work twice as hard to make sure 5/5 make it. My gf just started playing and has had to give up on 6 events because 100% of the players are afk. How is someone who just walked out of the vault going to respond doing the entire event themselves while disingenuous people exploit the game for value, and gold B. These afk players have also called me the F word 3 times since this event started, so they are toxic. Probably farm picks too.

All the items are worth squat, if your desperate for caps or items then your playing game wrong. Im constantly at max caps and have most god roll armour and weapons simply by playing the game. I never pay over 2k caps for anything and i sell cheap too, i tend to give all my known plans or duplicate items to my mates or low lvl players. Don't put anything in the donation box because its always surrounded by greedy players or cap sellers looking to stock their shops.
Sure, if you only play for yourself these items technically don't have a value. However, in the trading community they do have a significant value. You can trade items for other items, so if you got lucky in one part of the game, but didn't manage to get that Railway godroll after having rolled for months on end, you can instead trade for it. One can be aware of item values, still be charitable, being calm over not getting the best piece dropped, and not struggle for caps/items all at the same time. Donation box is sadly quite terrible at the Fasnacht event, I will agree with that.
People will actually pay you real money for some items you should research more instead of saying they're worth squat you might have and had some really rare items e.t.c check out the 76 market pages you will be suprised.

These rough rare mask values were taken from the Market 76 Discord, and naturally they drop as the event goes on. As far as I'm aware, it's strictly forbidden to trade anything for real money there, so I wouldn't know about any real life currency values for certain items. As for the caps, 40k is indeed the maximum capacity for one character. I should've clarified in the video that the cap value is a REFERENCE, but that no person would actually trade caps for such items. If you have cap references, then it's easier to trade an item for another item (or multiple items). Seems like both caps and "Live & Love 3" magazines are used as reference nowadays. Edit: Unfortunately I don't have the Glowing Unicorn mask yet...

Drop rates on any individual rare mask went from 0.333% chance last Fasnacht to 0.238% this time.

Just an FYI, the Winterman PA helmet is non-tradable so you can only get it through the event.

Market 76 has a "courier" service, in other words a middleman. Otherwise, going first when trading with a reputable trader is usually pretty safe.

I should've clarified in the video that the cap value is a REFERENCE, but that no person would actually trade caps for such items. If you have cap references, then it's easier to trade an item for another item (or multiple items). Seems like both caps and "Live & Love 3" magazines are used as reference nowadays.
Edit: Unfortunately I don't have the Glowing Unicorn mask yet...
