They actually listened to you and not only made pruner only tagged for support, but also made improved tools affect landmines!
On top of that, screwdriver is no longer tagged precise and landmines have a bigger explosion radius! Still far from enough to make a full land mine build viable but it's a start
Am I the only one who thinks that a standstill kill build with this guy would be actually viable like chameleon and barricades, and just a ton of health regeneration

I mean I have a frankly stupid amount of hours in Brotato at this point, I'd hope it wasn't too hard for me anymore.
Try shield, have to take crossbow and hope it shows in the shop.

@@jpryan90 cyborg is pretty easy too, just get wrenches and one or two miniguns. then get as much ranged as you can get you can get attack speed if you want the rest goes to survivability.

weirdly the only character that can be interested in both luck and minus consumable healing
Lich is an interesting character! I've had a good time playing as him over the past few days. :)
I'd love to see a speedy with jousting lances run, seems like it would be very silly
You should try farmer with his new rework. He gets +1 harvesting per consumable when at full health! You get stupid harvesting with pruners. I hit 1600 (no that is not a typo) with no crown and only buying 3 fertilizers and 1 wheelbarrow.
It’s crazy how many different builds I’ve seen immediately come up with where every single person has said, “this is the most obvious logical answer”
Normally I see the same stuff, but not this time (although you didn’t have Ghost Scepter as an option like Olenky did).
My immediate reaction to this guy was “take scissors and stack HP and HP regen”
Yours was to go life steal and slingshot.
Tyler went with Ghost Scepter.
I think that shows a pretty good character design.
I used the shield for this character and it was great because the damage modification affects it less.

Also: don’t know if you’ve seen the item yet (or if it was even in this build on the beta branch) but there’s a new Bloody Hand item that gives you 12% life steal and gives you bonus damage based on your life steal but causes you to take 1 damage per second (Blood Bag effect)
It’s sick nasty for this character.
Alien worm is kinda busted on this character. Healing less on consumables makes it so you have more opportunities to heal with +1s which I feel is ultimately the goal
I just played Lich last night, and Stick was an option for starting weapon, so that must've been changed. Stick was amazing because the extra Stick damage wasn't affected by Lich's penalty.
I rather take sneezes to cough, I'm couching my lungs out. Fuck that.
Item idea: increase max health by 5% at the start if each wave
At the start of each wave, convert 10 percent of max health to temp hp
(If you lose temp hp, it is subtracted from your max hp)
That would be absolutely bonkers in the current endless meta of max health stacking with potato throwers

Reto, I am sick in the exact same way as you. A cold that basically turns my nose into an open faucet.
ghost septer would be dmg scaling
Ghost Scepter also has a too low fire rate for a Lifesteal build, would reduce armor which is a problem if the character needs to be damaged to have the damage trigger and most kills are generated by said passive meaning ghost scepter would not gain a lot of kills to even scale in the first place
Bull works with dodge builds. Even with 60% you get hit often enough hit for the explosion, especially with blood donation.
Lich works best with shield and then mostly armor+health+regen so you can take constant hits that don't kill you and you regen fast enough for the damage to count. The items that damage you are a very nice bonus, especially early on. Too bad he can't start with shield.
For this character I went regen instead of life steal with blood bag worked great

Reto, I kind of feel like you always go for fully upgrading your weapon. I often think if it s worth it, or wouldn't it be good challange to not upgrade them? Potentially character like lich, maybe could just benefit more from passive? Do as you please, but it's nice to leave comfort zone:)

Would this be a good "stay in one place" character? I know it's not your favorite play style, but from this look it seems this could be a very versatile character. Can't wait to catch up on all the videos I missed. (Edit: just watched wave 17... never mind, lol. Still can't wait to hopefully see you experiment with the new characters. )
Just did a run on lich with slingshot, it really did feel like easy mode to the point i literally was just standing under bosses to take damage.
I got my first "win" with this character using fist and high dodge with adrenaline, just wading into groups of enemies and having my health oscillate was a blast. Unfortunately I had turned on Endless, which it turns out doesn't count getting to wave 21 as a clear for the unlock so I had to do it again
I just finally unlocked Demon using this build
I feel the special effect should be a little more flashy, like i dunno a bleed splash cuz you barely notice the effect
Shame didnt get to see the new lifesteal legendary on this one. Self damage. big lifesteal bonus, and then scaling damage based on lifesteal.

Would smg be a good starting weapon as an alternative to slingshot? It seems like it would act similarly to flamethrower for lifesteal purposes
You killed both bosses, BUT you kept reacting and running away automatically cause your instincts kept moving you.
Question: Does lifesteal proc off of fire damage?

I've found this patch that luck is actually broken now. I had like 200 and was getting 4-5 chest a round.

I think you did kill both, you had 2 red crates after the final bosses, if that means anything
Ironically you don't really need that much armor since you want to be missing health
....no? you definitely want armor lol. You want to be missing health, that doesn't mean you need to be missing A LOT of health.
I found I wanted more armor because you're going to be spending a lot of time at lower HP. You want to avoid getting one shot from half health

*chance* to heal 1hp on CRIT kill. Isn't that just worse life steal? I feel like it would have to be a much higher chance to be even remotely worth it, maybe I'm not thinking of it right
the overlooked thing is that lifesteal has a cap, and you can do _both._
i dont think that ricochet is worth it on slingshot runs because you already get lots of bounces and the damage drop is pretty big.
it is 100% worth it on a run where literally the only thing you want is more hits to proc lifesteal and you only get half of the richochet damage penalty. I explained in the video.
