I bred fecund beautiful children and made a religion that promotes many children. My dynasty was in about 3/4 of the known world. My first character had 40 children.
Sounds really fun, is there anything else you can do to get more children ? The dynasty trait for sure, but idk about cultural traits.

I wish india got more atention from the devs, as of now it just feels like europe but with complicated names
We're probably going to get an Indian flavor pack at some point, they did it with Northern Lords for Northern Europe/Scandinavia, and they have said they are thinking about a Byzantine one, so I assume they'll get to India eventually.
Honestly everywhere deserves the northern lords treatment. They did great with that flavor pack and it influenced a lot of land with one dlc. If they did something like that for India/Tibet, Central/West Africa, and of course the Byzantines I'd be very happy. Then they can look back around strong for Catholics/Muslim faiths again.

India is a very overlooked location in ck3, glad to see it get more love
for sure is! i mean i do the same, i think im just way more familiar with playing in europe so mostly play there, but want to do try more challenges in other areas!
@@SnapStrategyreform tibet with the pugyel dynasty member, if you want an additional challenge, do it in 867 with the weaker one, hes the Tibetan faith and only has about 1000 troops. If you wanna play around India thats a good challenge
IMO intrigue is even more OP in europe because you can use excommunication and papal shenanigans.
Try an Intrigue Run in Elder Kings, you can use Birthsigns and Patrons to stack Intrigue higher. You could try to reunite the two Skyrim Empires through having one of your descendants inherit both.
I love how your character wears an eyepatch but isn't one-eyed. He probably wears it to look more sneaky.
i mean the thing that gives a person away more than anything is the white of their eyes, so having atleast one eyed covered is more sneky

When you use Ruler Designer and forget to change sexuality and left it to random happens to me all the time
When I watched the previous video, I felt that the concept would be much more flavourful if the character was isolated on an island, so it felt more like they were manipulating from the sidelines rather than meddling with everything around them. So starting in Sri Lanka is absolutely perfect for that vibe.

Your intrigue character being accidentally homosexual reminded me of a time my buddy was playing a game like Crusader Kings III, but a different title. He created his ruler as a bisexual and created a harem of both men and women. I was curious why he did it, since he was normally a little homophobic about things like that. He told me... get this... that he wanted to double his chances of increasing the number of children he produced of his heritage.
When I asked him how he planned to impregnate the males in his harem to produce children with his heritage, he suddenly stopped, sat up, blinked a couple of times, and said, "Wow... I really feel dumb right now." I just about peed myself laughing. LOL. :)
Hey man really smart to use those borders for the characters. At first I thought they were ugly but it's actually super useful for us viewers who don't have a mouse to scroll over and see each dudes rank.
I didn't even think of going to other ruler's courts and fabricating hooks on spymasters or physicians, will most definitely be trying that out next time I play!

Started playing tall as the King of Bohemia. Getting 60+ gold per month and currently i'm doing this strat, spreading my kids to become King or Queen and gotta say i'm enjoying it so far.

how do you get the hood and cloak that spymasters were that makes them look like Palpatine from star wars
Sexuality doesn't affect fertility. All it impacts is attraction opinion and the ability to use Seduce and Romance schemes. Technically reduces the chance of kids because you can't roll an event to lay with your spouse but doesn't otherwise slow down the rate of pregnancy.
I cant for the life of me play intrigue and enjoy it but i do love watching others max the play style in an entertaining way
Between watching your videos and experimenting myself, I've found that each skill tree in CK3 is op in some way. You just have to play smart.

@SnapStratey Lol. 🤯 My sister decided to do exact thing a year or two ago but in ck2. And even with the same start place (sri Lanka). Hilarious!! Nonetheless, GL epigon!
in my first game the king of england died leaving only 2 young daughters. i couldnt marry my children to them because i had too many alliances so i intuitively married their aunt and then murdered both of them. the heir of scottland also only had a child daughter so i mareied my heir to her and then murdered him when his dad died. i also married my daughter to the second heir of the heir of the king of france because they would never agree to maternally marry the first heir but the second heir is fine. I then bought a claim on the holy roman empire and called france, england, and my giant daughter, who became a queen of a spanish kingdom after i got first place in a crusade, to war, amassing 44000 troops against the holy roman empire's measly 16000. however, i got lucky and won the war without even fighting a battle because the emperor died from illness shortly after i sieges the capital.
Kanatissa died far too young… I was really looking forward to seeing the shenanigans of her fate.

India is by far the best region for intrigue. since some realms even have equal gender inherit laws, you can really go wild with it.

I know it's been a month but remember the kids are inheriting on succession as in when someone dies. It's their "birthright". It's not like modern day with stepdads where it's assumed there will be basically adoption

More likely to get a matrilineal marriage accepted, as they're set to inherit less than their elder siblings. The AI will never willingly end their family's reign through marriage, but Intrigue can make them do it on accident.
Could somebody break down to me why matrilineal is key to this strategy?
it makes the children of the marriage the womans dynasty instead of the man who inherits the titles, so after the man inherits up next are his children who are not of his dynasty any more
