I know you don’t like your tent but with how you hate bugs, what about a hanging bug screen? You could tie it to string or paracord between trees and have it hang over your sleeping bag? Then if it rains use a trap to drap over the line between trees so not so much condensation problems? Really love your bike set up/ and these adventures!
You should have inserted some kind of metal rod to support the tubing from the inside. Maybe headless stainless steel bolts from a hardware store, lathered in the same epoxy. Because otherwise that joint isn't going to hold from JB weld alone.

Serbians can be very friendly but Serbia is sadly a poor country. I myself am from Serbia so I know what I am talking about. Oh and when you are at the Pekara buy yourself a Burek with either sir (cheese) or meso (meat) and buy a yoghurt. You will love it
