Man, hunt burnout was a pretty big factor in helping me curb game addiction by burning out so badly I didn't touch video games for almost a year lol Loved this game, but yeah, I stopped taking the game "seriously" for the last several hundreds of hours spent Hunt taketh away much more than it giveth haha
I just play for fun. I used to play for 8 to 12 hours when I was younger. Now I'm just relaxing while playing. The problem with hunt is that it does not provide a relaxing experience like it used to do, before the skill-based matchmaking. I'm tired of not being allowed to be tired in real life while playing a video game. If you tired and not juiced up with caffeine you will get blasted. I'm just tired
Sometimes I get randoms who know that there is a brain inside their skull and sometimes I get over emotional snow flakes who blame the sun for shining and the wind for blowing. Ridiculous
I might try it. I don't know how I feel about the mmr advantage playing as a solo. I see six star guys claiming that they the sht while donking on 4 and 3 star lobbies. I'm really not sure about that. That's why skill-based matchmaking ruined the game in my opinion. It used to be way more organic. Some days you fought good players and lost and sometimes weaker players and won. Now you are punished for playing good and get days of only losing until the game decides to take away a star after a couple of hours of punishment so you can win two games and become six star again and play with try hards that polish their kd rating and brag about it in middle school all day long. Lame
@@MakoIIe Definitely give it a shot, as long as you aren't intentionally deranking by spamming necro I see no problem with it. I've been playing mostly solo in the last year, and it lets me play in a way more relaxed manner because of the MMR modifier solos get. Constantly having to tryhard in sweaty lobbies when you get home from work is exhausting and not fun. Randoms definitely take a toll on my interest in playing this game every time I try, it's a shame since the nice randoms can be awesome. Also there is nothing wrong with taking a break from the game and making videos, maybe it would let you recharge a bit for the next event, and the upcoming engine upgrade.

I’ve been playing this pretty regularly with randos the past few weeks and have had a pretty good experience, but what’s really gotten me to have fun with this again has been playing with a friend who’s new to the game, just there for a good time with no salt nor sweat That said, your frustrations are valid 1000% dude, I get it. I hope you have something else that brings you as much joy as this did!
Hunt is still Legendary at this point for me. The game will forever be in my top 5 games of all time. It is just pis.sig me the F! off. That's all. Hunt is great and frustrating at the same time
The problem is the matchmaking in this game is totally broken. I'm a solo player who wipes 3 star lobbies regularly. The matchmaking system doesn't take into account your actual skill level. Just the player who killed you last. You can have 5 star MMR, get killed by a 3 star player, and be back to 3 MMR within the space of 1 game. Its too easy to derank I kinda feel bad wiping teams of players who've only been playing for a few hundred hours when I've got 5000+ hours.The game is too unforgiving for low level/new players. I recall one of the developers saying they were going to introduce a better matchmaking system in the next update. Lets hope it improves the situation. It will be kinda sad for me though, as I enjoyed wiping 3 star lobbies :(
I might try playing solo at some point. Would be nice if they would add regular voip to the game, alongside the proximity one. If we would be able to communicate over distance with randoms, things would get interesting again
Pograj solo, odsapniesz od randomów. Mi pomogło. Kiedyś grałem albo z kumplami albo z randomami, aż znalazłem się w miejscu, w którym ta gra nie sprawiała mi już przyjemności, kiedy grałem z przypadkowymi ludźmi, a wiadomo, że kumple nie są dostępni 24/7. Odpuściłem losowych towarzyszy na rzecz grania solo i zorientowałem się, że to jest jedna z najbardziej satysfakcjonujących form rozgrywki w Huncie. Sam sobie jesteś panem i decydujesz o wszystkim co robisz. Nie można tylko stawiać sobie za wysoko poprzeczki. Nigdy nie grałem po to, żeby zrobić server wipe jako solo, cieszyło mnie to, że udało mi się wyjść z bounty albo zaliczyć kilka killów jako solista.
Chivalry 2 and Insurgency Sandstorm are other titles I personally enjoy if you are looking for a change in game for a bit. Mind you they have their own issues.
There is no perfect bug free game on this planet. I highly recommend Helldivers 2. Great game with a bright future and no fomo battle pas systems. You can unlock the entire content in rhe game at your own paste
Hunt Burnout made me start a community of aggressive players who don't care about anything but being aggressive and develop tactical team maps with compounds you can draw on them that all your team can see, for quickly draw a defense/attack plan. Literally changing the game to cope with hunt being just camp-rewarding slow and stressful. I'll go back playing hunt after I finished these maps. F*** compromising, Crytek doesn't want to make the game more fun and wants to milk campers and time-committed people, then I'll take the money AND the good teammates, thank you very much Crytek

Game used to be way better. Ping should be locked to 100 or your lowest server. Tired of south americans/chinese/the entire planet crowding NA when the player base has more than enough players to support every region other than OCE. Trade window needs to be fixed (better tick rate/ping lock would fix this) and progression needs to get overhauled completely.
In my opinion, they should delete skill based matchmaking as well as stats, including KD, so you never know who you're fighting against.... like it originally used to be. Sometimes ass whopin and sometimes dominating
I reached 3.5kdr 6 stars with 5k hours playing with randoms, first as duos when the game came out, then in trios when that became an option. I got so burned out by these nasally low test useless weggir team mates complaining about everything depsite the fact they needed to be carried, that I quit Hunt. The cheaters in Tarkov are a breath of fresh air compared to the weed smoking basement dwellers Hunt attracts.

Bro ... i launched the game, played one round as a scav on factorry, then i selected a loadout and cueed in for a match on customs.... i waited in the matching screen for 27 minutes !!! :) ... so i did the classic alt+f4 and a swift uninstall

Automatons are a worthy adversary. Dropping bombs on stuff has never felt more awesome
