Im a seller in Renault and even if she is not the most beautiful one in the brand, lot of people love her for the engine, habitability and confort inside.
Had my 110 dCi up to 198km/h yesterday from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Munich. Took a long time to get there though, but surprised me that it went that quickly given what it is. It’s not meant to be a sports car after all....

IT is always interesting to see how fast this car can go, but i think more than 110km/h is pointless from the consumtion point of view.
At this video your maximum speed was exactly at 190 km/h.

Nice video!!! I was intrigued about how that 1.5 dci could move the Captur. Now I see. Slow and with an unpleasant sound, in acceleration overall.It´s a pity,,,,I was considerating that car between my favorites as an option for a new car....
Car is not noisy- In fact it is very quiet. for 100km/h 1900 RPM the engine is very quite. I measured 66dB sound level (using Mobile APP sound level) and... 69 (i.e. more noise for my VW PASSAT B6
)
it´s not noisy with a estabilized speed, but it´s noisy during acceleration and it doesn´t sound pretty. But as somebody said: For tastes. the colors. I usually drive a 520i e60 and it´s clearly quiter. I know...I can´t compare a diesel engine with a petrol one...but this is important for me...overall the quality of the noise. Or better sound instead of noise. We need another car at home and I think it will be a petrol one....:)
For sure they cannot be compared... during (ONLY max acceleration )(the noise/sound) is dieselish /hammering /harsh... . but still acceptable... For normal/daily usage/acceleration noise level is fine, i would say very low.. And of course at standstill (traffic jam) you cannot even hear the engine!! hehe... :) its got start/stop.. so its really quiet :) In any case it Cannot be compared with a petrol 6 cylinder engine!
I like captur. High driving position/easy to handle in the city. Low rev torque for driving in the city

I have the car and is just fine for a family car.(manual - not automatic) People make mistakes and forget TORQUE and just consider BHP for performance.. This car has 22Kg Torque available from around 1800 rpm are more than enough to push this. You dont really want a family car to output 150 BHP at 7000 rpm!. The only limitation for the 90BHP is the MAX speed that can be achived and also 0-100KM. however because of hight torque you can overtake cars quite easy..
No, there is another version of this engine with 110 hp, still not enough. Just a rubbish engine, had it, never again. Sure, Torque is quiet good, but that's it.

I do think, that The RENAULT is all right - don't like the intereur -
I my selv have a SAAB 9-5, 2006 with 210 hp. -
and it's far faster and itout any noice even at max. speed.
But okay - I know - it's getting an old car for sure - but still a better car .......
Totally stupid. Saab is not better and note worst. We can't compare a city SUV and a big car like the Saab 9.5. Ferrari 288 GTO with 400 HP and 305 km/h is better or worst than your Saab ? Just one thing, Saab 9.5 is just a shame if we compare with a real good Saab, like the 900. 900 was a real Saab, a real good car, not an american (GM) Saab. And you know ? Saab is dead because 9.5 and 9.7 were so good (lol lol and lol) cars...so reliable (you should look european classification for reliability for the Saab after year 2000...you will be very surprised...even Renault was in better place in its worst years...even VAG...).

It's the same dry double clutch transmission that has been used by Renault since 2009 or 2010 (Megane 1.5 dci, Scenic 1.5 dci).

Asteon It's 5 speed in Manual Mode. However, it could be 6 speed if you buy it with EDC Automatic.

What a slow car a mazda 5 1.8 with 116hp is even faster (with acceleration)
What a slow brain, a Mazda 5 with 1.8 (vs 1.5) and 116 HP (vs 90 HP, = +26 HP), a better CX, and not very heavy (a Captur is yet more than 1400 kg, a Mazda 5 i think is 1500...) is faster, normal...just normal...And a Bugatti Veyron is faster than Mazda 5 you know ? Another thing, the numeric tachymeter don't show the continuous acceleration with same precision as a classical tachymeter, it always seems to be slower with a numeric tachymeter...because of the lag.

On reconnait bien le con qui pige pas qu'on a là un moteur de seulement 90 cv et que 190 pour une puissance de ce type sur un véhicule qui doit flirter avec les 1400 kg y a pire...Faut parfois savoir fermer sa gueule quand le niveau de ce qu'on dit se rapproche plus intellectuellement du lombric que du bipède dont l'ancêtre est la célèbre Lucy...Au fait apprend à écrire en français, la version correcte de ta phrase est : On reconnait bien le DCI, ça (ou mieux encore "il") rame à mort...
Comment peut ton la ramener quand ton ni connais rien, la mon petit Donc pour toi 1400kg et tros lourd pour 90ch lol moi je te conseille de sortir un peut et d'aller essayer d'otre marques .avec différentes motorisations de 90ch comme la motorisation Isuzu et une voiture qui et aussi lourd et tu seras très surpris, après y a n'a d'autre car la on parle bien du 90, Après je conpren que sa vex quelque un comme toi quand on dit la vérité. Je fais peut-être quelques fautes mais moi je reste poli et je vois que c'est pas ton ca retourne à l'école de la politesse si tu c'es se que sait mais c'est bien tu te souviens de lucy on voit que t'a appris quand même quelques chose dans la vit mdr

Évoquer Isuzu, ce créateur d'une des pires motorisations existantes, le V6 3.0 de 180 CV qui a fait le malheur d'Opel et de Renault lol 190 avec 90 CV pour 1400 kg c'est peu lol Réponds surtout pas ta réponse n'a pas d'importance lol

It's normal for 90 cv in 1400 kg, not slower than other cars like this one...It's not a sport car...If you prefer sport car, buy sport car...
