Going directly down from London would have secured the green kill (using Vienna for the other stuff) - but I was surprised by the 30 stack, too.
I was not. I was like - you are gonna miss it!

Fun fact: It took over 24 min to get a Katchphrase in this game
33:44 when you went for the White into Green double kill, and it was actually hilarious to see what terrible cap locations people had chosen, trapping themselves in corners 😅😅
Those blizzards are insane! Almost every retaliation involved going through a 3rd players' bonus, lol. And people like blue are the worst thing about this game. Also, 'get out of my game!' Love it! Waiting for the mug. GG, well played!
A couple of novices helped.. what was the red cap! What a comeback just like the Kim Kardshian story. Thank you Andy
Everybody was ramdingling!
Nice comeback too.
Been on vacation so catching up on vids. This was a classic Kylted come from behind win. Well played champ champ!
White not taking those caps was crazy. I definitely take a three cap
That's some of the worst luck I've ever seen. Well done playing around it
First off, the Dutch people unified themselves as a nation first, France was inspired by their flag, and Netherlands is much more clean and orderly! So clearly it’s vertical Netherlands and not sideways France!
Technically it's false, it's actually the other way around. The flag of Netherland on it's actual form was first introduced in Netherland in 1806 by Napoleon. The french flag on it's actual form was introduced in 1794, white for the french monarchy and red and blue for the city of Paris. (But honnestly who cares now ? Are we not tied of who has the bigger di** and who can pee fartherst ?)
Secondly, I have never seen so dirty people as Dutchs during their holiday. They are leaving trash all over the places leaving a trail after them probably feeling free to do it during their holidays as they cant while at home. I hope once the humans ( including the Dutch) will understand we all live on the same planet, keeping it clean is better for everyone.
I must say that I have a better opinion on the Dutch since the cleaning of the great ocean garbage patch was launched by boyan slat a young Dutch. Congratulations to you and your team Boyan.
dream on.
32:49 I've noticed in a lot of your games, you'll spend time and troops on putting something on caps, even when you're looking to kill someone. If you kill then you'll get the trade and that'll allow you to add to caps/boarders. And if you don't you often just need one fortify anyhow. What's the thinking behind always leaving something on cap when you don't know what you're about to run into?
It's some extra precaution to always have a few troops on caps and not leave them as 1s, just in case I miss a kill or something.. especially if I split a couple ways off of capitals I like to at least leave a few on them. It's just extra safety in the times I do it
Fortifying only allows to buff one cap, in situations like that where you have multiple capitals it's not good to leave that many empty ones, but it's true that when trying to kill someone is better to full commit than doing it half hearted. But again, going for kills in fog of war is like gambling, so its not very bad to take precautions
yes i was like what something crazy is about to happen
Played a game an hour ago… some guy had somehow got 2 of accounts in the game.I was the only player to actually notice this and try to stop them, but gave up when literally every other player kept f-ing with me
Good game! Excellent comeback from a disadvantage.
well played. educational.
That sideways french guy really tasted it
For some reason everyone seams to be caping next to me lately even when I'm on a turn one 5 or 6 Cap. It's very frustrating
From 0 to hero, what a game
It's really sad when someone plays enough Risk to acquire 250 gems, and they use it to buy the limited edition surrender flag emogie!
They werent wasted totally. They kept you at 15 for a turn +2 and at 14 for 2 turns +2
What is this at least until the new year comment you slide in there at the end. Please explain.
There is always that guy who ruins another person’s game despite having other good options because they want x bonus no matter what.
Kyle I was thinking of how to make tournament games better and thought of this simple fix to stop the lengthy stale mates: have an expert AI Bot but anyone who kills it is disqualified. This adds a strategic dynamic where players will spend resource to either move the bot away from them, or decide to let it kill the players around them in exchange for a big bot on their boarder. The fact that the bot can’t be killed means it could trade at any minute and kill off big stacks, and will scale into the late game where stale mates are most common. It’s like a more controlled version of zombies basically.
Have to be able to hit it for cards. Would only work for no fog games
@@eberlchl no it works for fog too, if you accidentally kill the bot because of fog then that’s your fault you lose for taking the risk. It’s like if you pot the black ball in snooker/billards. It’s the risk you take. Which is the point of the game.
The passive AI Bot that never attacks, never gets cards and just places three troops on its remaining territories each round is a much better setting.
I think alliances should be disabled in ALL tournament games. Playing collectively for mutual benefit is fine, but the private communication option should be removed. There are ways to communicate intentions without words or emoticons that an astute player will notice, but every other player should be able to see it, as well.
If every player was in alliance with each other in a Fog of War game, effectively there is no fog, until someone breaks an alliance.
This is a cool idea and I have shared it with some people to brainstorm on. Definitely worth looking into, not sure if it could be feasible but I like the thinking
@@Kylted Clearing the bot out of the area where you want a bonus costs troops, but it also means that the bot will place its three troops somewhere else each round. Essentially, the bot's territories are like removable blizzards that grow.
Alternatively, one might just fart around in the middle of Asia until somebody else clears a bonus area for them. The position of a fortified bot territory can also be helpful in hiding from a kill path in progressive, or for card blocking.
This is different from the passive AI settings when someone quits, because no cards are ever involved, and reinforcements continue every round, instead of stopping after three rounds of inactivity.
The few games that I've been in with these settings were very entertaining and unpredictable, and nobody had huge troop totals early in the game.
I've only played these settings on the Classic map, but they might be even more interesting on something like Europe Advanced with blizzards, where the bot has 12 territories to start, and reinforcements are pretty much placed randomly.
The whole time... fugn white wate wnoting what kylted was feeling the whole time.
Why did you hit the green cap in Iceland before you knew how much he had left?
Great game!
But if you had 5 more troops at the top blue probably doesn't roll your cap and quit when it fails.
Can u stop spoiling ffs
@@joebowl8315 I "spoiled" something that happened 2 turns into the game. If you're that adverse to any spoilers, don't read the comments before watching the video.
Is there any way to get into tournaments WITHOUT using Discord?
I can read Discord, but I can't post, because I have a landline phone, so I can't receive a text message for the 2nd part account confirmation.
If not, I'm really interested in being invited to a tournament practice round, particularly for fixed or progressive Capitals, any map, blizzards and portals are OK by me. I don't like fog of war. I'm currently ranked slightly below #1,000, and Grandmaster. I have 1,000+ FFA wins, and slightly less than 33% lifetime win rate in FFA.
I don't see myself as a contender to win tournaments at this point, but I'm not an easy kill. I rarely finish below second place in six player Caps against most opposition.
Well this is interesting, I've never heard of this problem before lol. Do you have a family member with a cell phone that could verify you on discord? I assume there is likely some solution
@@Kylted Perhaps I'm the only person you know who DOESN'T have a cell phone? I see it as an unnecessary expense. I work from home, and I communicate primarily through e-mail, personal conversation and message boards. If I'm out, I don't WANT people to be able to contact me!
Blue it's me 😂
I got the worse early game for 20 rounds and won from 10 troops 😂
I love these videos but I find it so hard to watch a game with fog of war...
GG
Killing the annoying blue player must have been satisfying. Great comeback despite everything going pear-shaped early game. Fog kills are never a certainty but you went for kills at the right time and deserved the win.
Good game

🛡🛡 SUPREME SPOILER BLOCKER 🛡🛡
Hey there can i say something? Why do you want to block spoilers on a game thats not even importand? I mean i would understand if it was a championship finals game but this is just casual sooo are you doing this for likes or what?
@@Somebody_greek if we know the outcome it's easier to predict the moves as they happen, which in return causes me to lose interest.
If you know already know if the person playing wins or not, then all tension is lost.
May the spoiler blocker god bless us
