Lived and worked here for three years at the VOA shortwave station. São Tomé is a beautiful Island. The southern part is awesome. The people are super friendly. Nice video!

@@ginopop Ok, I am from S.Tomé and Principe but I am living in Portugal. I love that people go to visit my country. I am ashamed of the poverty because of bad governance but on the other hand it is a beautiful country.

The people are friendly, that reminds me of your Tanzania vlogs. What a stunning place! I know you were a little disappointed by the rain but I thought the images still came out fantastic, but then again I love the rain. Watching the rain dripping through a heavily lined canopy with just a little sun starting to appear like that is ethereal to me. I get chills thinking about it.

We used TAP to go in and out, through Accra
You can come via TAP which has a stopover in Accra, a city in Ghana.

From Europe the cheapest flights are with TAP Air Portugal which fly via Accra. You Cando a stopover in Ghana. And do a side visit to Togo and Benin. A double entry visa for Ghana cost 140 us dollars.
