Content shortens your sales calls.
@@uo5204 Great highlight! ❤
@@mindvalleycoach The idea of transforming inspiration from other books / video into your own language for content creation Thanks Jason, Thanks Ajit!
@@danieljot Yes!!! Great one. ❤
The comment about 90% teaching vs 10% talking about yourself and your perspectives. I’ve leaned HEAVY on teaching bc I have so much information in my head that I know will be helpful but I hold back on my personality or perspective bc that’s more vulnerable and I was perceiving it as less valuable. So as I make content going forward, I’ll open up a bit more with my stories and perspectives. Thank you! 💚
Vulnerability is what allows others to deeply connect with you. Follow your intuition! Thanks for sharing ❤
YES! You nailed it! Thats fantastic that you have so much info and content and when you bring more your personality into the equation, people are going to get even MORE out of what you share! Keep up the great work!
Thank you Ajit! My biggest take aways were the idea of "micro-serving" through posts, and the idea of storytelling creating a sense of humanity and relating. I have struggled with becoming a coach as the "salesiness" felt incredibly ego driven. I was an Expressive Arts therapist and Art teacher and have determined this is my calling, to combine those things and serve through the power of creativity. This episode above many others that I have listened to has solidified the concept of self-acceptance and service through my lens. Many thanks!
We're so happy this interview was valuable for you, Chrstina! Great insights right there. Thanks for sharing ❤
YES! You've got it Christina! I love what you said and even more, love that you have this awesome background in Art to integrate into your coaching and the service of others!
That’s awesome! Biggest takeaway for me ...I am trying way too hard and spinning my wheels, when all I need to do is simply be me. Story sharing is my next step. I think people just want authenticity; I know I do. Thank you!!
It all starts with you, Annette! Amazing insight, thanks so much for sharing :)
You are welcome!
YES!!! BE YOU! There is so much service, resonance and power in that level of authenticity! Have FUN Annette!
"The best students are the ones who do not engage as much!" - big AHA!
Right?! Thanks for sharing, Tatiana ❤
What a fantastic interview with Jason. Thank you Ajiti there were so many gems of wisdom. I am in this exact position I have created a course 7 Steps to Heal Yourself from IBS. I did not know how to see if my content was relevant. The idea of 30 facebook lives is daunting but a brilliant way to see if I resonate with my audience.. I love the story of the hair cut I am also very short sighted and always wonder what my hair will look like when I put my glasses back on. I love the analogy that it will grow back and will use this with my clients❤.
We're so glad you enjoyed this interview and found it so valuable, Linda! Let us know how those ideas work for you. Thanks for sharing ❤
I'm so happy you enjoyed it Linda (which is also my moms name! Bonus!) Thanks for your comment!
This is a wholesome conversation

And it's so powerful as well! Thanks for sharing, Katrina ❤
Ajit Nawalkha and Jason Goldberg thank you so much for an excellent interview!!! You both are an inspiration for me!
We're so glad you found this valuable, Susana! Thanks for sharing :)
Ego versus service. Love it.
Yes! Spot on 😉
Thank you Lisa!
The premise of creating content with the intention of how it makes the consumer of the content feel really resonates with me and reminds me of a well known saying from Maya Angelou - "People won't always remember what you said, but they will always remember the way you made them feel".
I think this point of wanting to create a feeling with your content more than always focusing on having a new profound insight, not only removes the perceived weight that approach drops onto the creator, but also encourages the writer to put more of themselves into the content because the focus changes from the head to the heart. Really great video. Tons of value, AND the playful, casual interview style between the two of you produced so much ease around the topic.
Amazing insights and the perfect quote from Maya Angelou! We're so happy this video was so valuable. Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
That's awesome!!! Really enjoyed this and want to watch again
We're so glad you did, Ashoosha! Thanks for sharing ❤❤
Thank you for such an amazing video! I just found this video now it popped up on my feed. It is exactly what you are talking about in this video. So thank you for creating this video it has changed my life! i connected with you guys on so many levels it has sparked many creative ideas to create!

Starting my own coaching business during Covid lockdown- Have signed up with you guys already but seeing this has been so valuable, content creation has been my block as I have had no idea what to create, thinking I had to be 'revolutionary', when I can use my own stories.
Thank you

Amazing Anitra! I'm so happy to hear it was valuable for you and gave you the validation and permission to keep showing up and staying in the game! Lots of love!
That is awesome! This is I think the first time I have watched such a lengthy interview! I really find it very useful and interesting that I watched it till the end. Great questions Ajit..it felt like you were asking all what I wanted to know. And the answers felt so honest, deep and yet simple. Every time I star to write, I fear that it is not going to be unique, new... feeling much confident after watching this. I really liked 'ego vs service'. Thanks
This is great, Sanjeev! So glad you got so much value out of it :) Thanks for sharing.
I needed to hear this, thank you!! I'm watching it for the 2nd time - a real eye-opener.
And you'll get so many more insights the second time around! So glad you got so much value from this, Petrolene. Thanks for sharing :)

We're so glad this was useful, Andre! Thanks so much for sharing ❤
Awesome!
I like how he described Ajit as the lazy most productive person he knows 😀😀😀. Perfect description! Ajit actually looks lazy but we all know how productive he is and how he inspires us with "lazy-productive" style 😄
❤❤❤
Loving the synchronicity of this! This just popped up in my feed after I posted a video called "People in the Travel Industry Need to Hear This" - where the key message was that the folks from the industry I used to work in - would benefit most from learning how to make content during this time of fluctuating travel (A bit of backstory - I was a Dubai-based flight attendant for most of my twenties, and then when I came back to Australia to resume a career in communications and marketing, no one would hire me 😬 and of course, it totally made sense: even though I had a matching degree, my work experience didn't match the roles I was gunning for. So in a bid to still work in marketing, I started a CZcams channel - which didn't only catapult me into the marketing industry - it changed my life and introduced me to a whole new world of scaled impact. It was through this that i realised the *_power_* of communicating through content!)
So now - both through practice and experience, I cannot help but share how life-changing this one skill is. Kudos to this video for unpacking the elements of content creation!
What a powerful journey, Kristine! This is so amazing! Human interaction and relationships are all about communication, and a great tool for connection is storytelling! We totally recommend watching this interview with expert storyteller Sarah Snow, it could bring great insights for your CZcams channel: czcams.com/video/J5RGxTqSDZ8/video.html ❤
@@mindvalleycoach thank you so much for the recommendation!! I just peeped it now and already have a feeling that it could not have come at a better time. Thank you again, I’m looking forward to watching the full video! 😊😊

That's amazing! I know this comment was 5 months ago so how is it going with your biz now? How did the launch go?
I am a life coach .Today I met a friend for coffee. She told me a friend of HERS may well be having problems with self identity and her sense of purpose.Shes a stay at home mum I suggested my friend tells her friend that I could help her if she is ready and to call me for a 10 minute conversation. So yes, getting out in the world leads to possible clients!
Really Awesome! Eye opening for me was the story-telling part and bringing the daily stuff in, looking for 'the lesson' in it. Thank you so much!

This is great, David! Sometimes it takes time to process the amount of information we have around us. Just keep going and identifying what really resonates for you, and you'll find your way! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks, your so great!!!
wow I really loved this interview. I have been struggling with content and it has become a real chore to do. I have been applying the story approach and it was fun to hear. What I take away is the contageous energy in this talk and the lightness and humor that brings back the fun. I have taken notes, will save this video and I somehow feel different now, so a big THANK YOU to Jason and Ajit!
Thanks for the powerful sharing, Arabella! We're so glad to know this interview has brought you some valuable insight because, as you say, content should be fun! Posted July 2019 and me watching on June 3, 2022! Aha moment!
And still relevant! ❤
I was literally laughing when the comments were flying about Ajit's hair and Jason's eyes. Hahahahah.... Great interview. That story part is something I intentionally refer to as personal metaphors where I find real life stories and embed it with a lot more nuances that communicate something very specific. I am currently practicing that with my channel
LOL
That is awesome Dayo! So happy to hear you are practicing what we talked about! Doesn't Ajit have the BEST hair though - SOOO low maintenance! HAHAHA!
