This is why you gotta find a server to play on with friends or something so you don't gotta go through hell on your own trying to get this shit each time. Honestly my first Ark server was a friend's who bought a server for us all to play on. Good times, it was public too so anyone could join we just made it so at the start it would be us learning. Most fun of my life and sometimes I wish I could go back.

Ark has the potential to be the greatest game ever. Too bad its filled with cheaters, corruption, and bugs.
As a retired Ark player, I immediately knew this wasn't going to work as soon as I learned their plan. Giving the masses access to the server by not hiding it, thinking their watchers wouldn't offline raid them.
i remember i played when the game first came out on early access. got raided many times, but it was so much fun we just kept playing and playing until we built a fantastic base. I remember when the queztel first came out. I knocked it out within 10 minutes of the update and tamed it. Low level one though. I have 2k hours in ark. such an enjoyable game
Ark one of the best potential video game ideas, implemented by probably some of the most lack luster video game devs I have ever witnessed out of any game. I have played every type of game under the sun since I was a kid and had my first gameboy color. No devs have made me laugh with how poorly they handle EVERYTHING, yet I had thousands of hours on Ark and each of its DLCs up until whatever came after Genesis. Such a great game concept drilled into dust by the 'devs'.
100% agree , 6k hours here and probably the most fun ive ever had on a video game ever in my life. This game will forever hold a place in my heart but ever since extinction its just gone to the absolute trash can. It became about getting the most content out to get the most money from its loyal fans. Q/A was is and always has been the least of their concern. Ive lost MEGA bases like ones that would crash your PC trying to load it all if you got dropped from the sky into the middle of the base. No one could raid us because their game would lag out from the xplants and turrets. However they figured out a way to mesh under neath the base from a chair exploit. Then placed turrets and raided us from under the map. We reached out to the devs for 2 days straight to try to get it fixed reversed anything . They came back and basically said sorry nothing we can do for you. They will possibly get banned. They never did. 3 weeks later we returned the favor. Never got banned either. The game even states in the ToS/UA exploiting in anyway will result in a permanent ban. They dont even uphold their own rules. After we raided them from under the map i have never logged into the game again. over 2k hours in that base to see it ruined by a exploit and told there was nothing they could do.
seriously it's one of the coolest concepts out there with no real competitors, just to be ruined by the devs greed. Same bugs have been in for years, they can't even fix the crossbow reload animation getting bugged half the time. Still had a lot of fun playing it but the more you get into the game the more you realize just how broken it is.
They must have some crazy IP protection implemented because why somebody else with more dedication and smarts hasnt gone and made a game where you run around and tame dinos is sus.
So the servers were crashing because Snail thought you were going to raid them and saw multiple join notifications. They crash servers and roll them back this is half their method to stop people raiding them. It got rolled back that's why you had to remake character.
I got pretty into Ark a while ago. I played on an unofficial fibercraft server so people progressed wicked fast and there was so much drama it was hilarious. People took it way too seriously and we honestly had like genuine wars with enough lore that would make Avengers Endgame look like a novella

i think bringing this proplem to a main channel video could really benefit us ark players as this kinda stuff has been a huge issue for years and i think more attention being brought towards it could really benefit us

Ahh I used to absolutely grind this game like nothing else with the boys. What a vibe setting up a base and watching it evolve and grow along with your dinos / breeding and all the other shit that comes along with the game. Masterpiece
I genuinely got addicted to this game for a year. All i did, all i thought about, all i talked about, at school, and at work. I didn’t stop playing for good until i got grounded for a week or 2 and lost everything to claiming. Havnt touched it yet.

You can make the tether up to 5X as long as normal since I know the tether is normally very short but on PC you can click the number and put in a custom amount, don't know if you can click on it on console someway to do the same. The most you wanna do there is 15 because more than that can lag you.
I feel bad for anyone who plays on Official pvp Servers, they can’t sleep because anyone can just come to your server and wipe your base. That’s why you need Brits, spanish, Germans and aussies to play when you are offline
While wildcard aren't the best devs it's the publishers snail games, after atlas snailgames basically just forced wild card to only work on ark, the worst part is ARK and wildcard is the only notable thing snailgames has so they are probably going to try to keep wildcard for as long as possible
Not really, my experience is whenever you are low level the game is just about dying and slowly building up until some loser with a wyvern comes down and maules u. On "beginner" servers its ok but not that interesting. Singleplayer is probably the best experience, but once you get decent dinos theres not much motivation to continue.

Honestly, they shouldnt even bother with this. It's really nice that they cared enough to attempt this, but apart from them having to put in hundreds of hours into the game just to learn it and get to a comparable skill level to the other Players/Tea tribe, they still wouldnt be able to get anything done because Tea basically own these Servers. They use pretty much every cheat/exploit imaginable and if they still lose they will just accuse you of cheating and get you banned immediately, which is what happened to Exfibo's tribe who played 100% legit. It's a waste of time to play on the Conquest Servers, that's just how it is.
As someone who has played a lot of Ark if you want any remote success doing this you need to recruit a minimum of 20 tribe members with over 2000 hours that are dedicated and have nothing but free time. This was just a toddler trying to light a fire by rubbing sticks together and thinking they have a chance.
i really wish this couldve been in a thing, but as a player with 8k hours on pvp, they would of been here for ages learning the game and getting raided before they got anywhere. Unless they recruited some of the viewers or other creators with experience to help
Between the random crashes, server timeouts and disconnections, this game is insufferable to endure. Definitely would have refunded in less than an hour.
I've been playing ark for 5 years and have 6,000 hours to it, its one of my favorite games ever next to elden ring but i have a love hate relationship with ark. At 51.51 as soon as you spawn in there is a message:- "Human: Hello I am GM RJ due to threat of your publicity you will be punished and banned. From Snail Games and Tribe of Joe. Server will now begin shutdown" Then you found the green dude and the server disconnected.
Snail is a company that owns wildcard, and wildcard are the devs that made the game and they need to keep snail happy by sucking their toes and tending to their every foot massage. So some snails members are in conquest and if you raid them they throw a tantrum and ban the raiders, get a pro pvp gamer to help yah out or one of the members that tried to raid them so they can babysit you guys into pros
The crashing on skipping the cutscene happens at random. When i have a ton of stuff on me i mostly leave it running. And yes you will get the already connected lock afterwards LOLOLL
Ark is such a good game….in theory. The idea is great and the ideas are cool and fun. But the absolutely atrocious greed, performance, and polish just ruins it. The game has so much potential, but for the life of them they can’t figure out how to actually make a game. (That or they genuinely don’t want to) (I like ARK, and I do still play it occasionally. But it just has SO MANY problems)
Someone was lagging out the servers intentionally, it doesn't just go down like that on its own. Hiding the server won't work if someone knows your Steam account, they can track your Steam ID and find which servers you are on regardless. Try hiding server + using anonymous steam account and having everyone else in the stream use anonymous accounts.
Snail games are the people messing up ark, and that might have actually been a snail game dev. You can’t paint your character blue at the level he was.
As a veteran with over 6k hours on this game , it is dissapointing in so many ways to see that the greed has essentially ruined the game an future titles

you don't even need to hack when i used to play you could make a small 4x4 place a genny in it and just fill it with lights as many as you can fit fill with 1 unit of gas and turn on bam server crash.worked every time
Snail games didnt just admin abuse one time, this already happened before and instead of banning the raiders they kept resetting the server to a point before the raid over and over claiming "server issues". There is years of documented instances of snail games item and/or dino spawning with commands and this is just the tip of the iceberg because their cheating shenanigans date back prior to ark to Eve Online where they were using their developer powers to spread rare and powerful items throughout their alliance. Eve online is a game where you can potentially lose a ship that costs like 5.5k usd, so cheating in this game is far more serious and can harm the in game economy. Best spawn in ragnarok Is highlands. Find the rockcarot and tame the horses. EZ first time and use it to store everything and you can farm rock and wood from on top

its absolutely amazing as an ark player myself, that such a big content creator can bring more attention to this than us ark youtubers. its really great to see the corrupt publishers of ARK: survival evolved are getting attention from the big content creators and people can finally see whats going on and that something needs to be done.
This game's online multiplayer is absolutely horrendous. To get any chance of doing anything in a sever requires 24 hour constant playing along for weeks on end. Literally Rust but with fifty times the amount of time sink. Single Player is really fun though because there aren't greasy sweats who will raid you the moment you dare sleep. It's too bad the devs strangled this game to death
I have 3,800 hours in this fartass game and I regret every one of them. I want it to be good, I gave it a chance for so long, and it is a good niche for survival games with the taming mechanic. Cute lore, good creature designs etc. But the game has literally zero optimization, no balancing, and the devs are, no exaggeration, the worst game devs on earth. Wildcard and Snail make EA and Activision-Blizzard look like gaming saints. The only way the devs could be possibly worse is if they ritually sacrificed children, stole bank account info of players, and turned the game into a bitminer (which might even perform better than the game actually does).
The game was made to make you wast your time, and trick you into thinking your actually accomplishing something. It's addictive, but it's also garbage, the Crack of the video game world.
I love Ark, but also hate it, you guys have a toooonnnn of work to do if you actually wanna raid a dev-supported tribe, even just raiding a normal medium-level tribe is a grind on official servers

1:50 they clarified that now you pay like 10$ to get all past dlcs iirc since players didnt want to pay again for each one. So better deal for newer players but for older ones still a shitty move, plus ark2 is still indev and no gameplay has been seen yet

They use pretty much every cheat/exploit imaginable and if they still lose they will just accuse you of cheating and get you banned immediately, which is what happened to Exfibo's tribe who played 100% legit. It's a waste of time to play on the Conquest Servers, that's just how it is.

To make it worse, they initially posted that ark ascended was going to be free.
And ascended will only release with 2 maps. We have to pay for each map seperate, all over again when they finally release.

As someone who has played a lot of Ark if you want any remote success doing this you need to recruit a minimum of 20 tribe members with over 2000 hours that are dedicated and have nothing but free time. This was just a toddler trying to light a fire by rubbing sticks together and thinking they have a chance.
i really wish this couldve been in a thing, but as a player with 8k hours on pvp, they would of been here for ages learning the game and getting raided before they got anywhere. Unless they recruited some of the viewers or other creators with experience to help
Between the random crashes, server timeouts and disconnections, this game is insufferable to endure. Definitely would have refunded in less than an hour.

your first mistake was trying to join official servers instead of making or buying a private server with friends

Snail is a company that owns wildcard, and wildcard are the devs that made the game and they need to keep snail happy by sucking their toes and tending to their every foot massage. So some snails members are in conquest and if you raid them they throw a tantrum and ban the raiders, get a pro pvp gamer to help yah out or one of the members that tried to raid them so they can babysit you guys into pros
Ark is still very much playable, it just takes 1000+ hours to break the bob stage

The crashing on skipping the cutscene happens at random. When i have a ton of stuff on me i mostly leave it running. And yes you will get the already connected lock afterwards LOLOLL
Ark is such a good game….in theory.
The idea is great and the ideas are cool and fun. But the absolutely atrocious greed, performance, and polish just ruins it.
The game has so much potential, but for the life of them they can’t figure out how to actually make a game. (That or they genuinely don’t want to)

Someone was lagging out the servers intentionally, it doesn't just go down like that on its own.
Hiding the server won't work if someone knows your Steam account, they can track your Steam ID and find which servers you are on regardless.
Try hiding server + using anonymous steam account and having everyone else in the stream use anonymous accounts.

Fr. I played on console and before I got my PS5 I played on my dinky first version Xbox One and it ran HORRIBLY. I still had such a blast though.

The game itself can be pretty broken but it also doesn't help that RJ was hacking to join every server they joined and dos them out of it
This shows exactly how f*n alpha stage this game still is, you can go under the mal wherever you want aswell, you can run through turret towers without getting shot

I would like to clear this up for everyone who thinks one of the devs banned you guys, it was not it was indeed a hacker that dosed the servers, also this game is very hard to get into there’s a ton to know. Hopefully ark asc will be better and hopefully their new hacking system actually works
you don't even need to hack when i used to play you could make a small 4x4 place a genny in it and just fill it with lights as many as you can fit fill with 1 unit of gas and turn on bam server crash.worked every time

Snail games didnt just admin abuse one time, this already happened before and instead of banning the raiders they kept resetting the server to a point before the raid over and over claiming "server issues". There is years of documented instances of snail games item and/or dino spawning with commands and this is just the tip of the iceberg because their cheating shenanigans date back prior to ark to Eve Online where they were using their developer powers to spread rare and powerful items throughout their alliance. Eve online is a game where you can potentially lose a ship that costs like 5.5k usd, so cheating in this game is far more serious and can harm the in game economy. Best spawn in ragnarok Is highlands. Find the rockcarot and tame the horses. EZ first time and use it to store everything and you can farm rock and wood from on top

This game's online multiplayer is absolutely horrendous. To get any chance of doing anything in a sever requires 24 hour constant playing along for weeks on end. Literally Rust but with fifty times the amount of time sink. Single Player is really fun though because there aren't greasy sweats who will raid you the moment you dare sleep. It's too bad the devs strangled this game to death

I have 3,800 hours in this fartass game and I regret every one of them. I want it to be good, I gave it a chance for so long, and it is a good niche for survival games with the taming mechanic. Cute lore, good creature designs etc. But the game has literally zero optimization, no balancing, and the devs are, no exaggeration, the worst game devs on earth. Wildcard and Snail make EA and Activision-Blizzard look like gaming saints. The only way the devs could be possibly worse is if they ritually sacrificed children, stole bank account info of players, and turned the game into a bitminer (which might even perform better than the game actually does).
The game was made to make you wast your time, and trick you into thinking your actually accomplishing something. It's addictive, but it's also garbage, the Crack of the video game world.
