Honestly this is the first thing in WoW I've seen in 10 years that's made me interested in it. I loved when things in this game were cryptic and hard to accomplish. 100k people in discord for a puzzle? An actual community effort to accomplish something? Shit's cool.

Same here, took like three hours. I was also super tired prior to doing it so it felt like torture that I could only stop by randomly guessing where I needed to go successfully, finally allowing me to go to bed.
BlueSeekers I drew a map and I used the addon. I restarted 3 times and it took me 6 hours on the maze.
That's kinda sad

I listened to ocarian of time lost woods while doing it, I wanted to kill myself after 1½ hour
Did the whole thing a couple days ago up till the maze. Got all five orbs and....hearthed out. Totally forgot about clicking the next clue.

I remember when this got figured out, I took my next day off bought a case of twisted tea and sat down and had one of the best days I’ve ever had playing wow. This was truly fun and interesting to go along with and try to figure out. The satisfaction I felt when I finished the maze was one I hadn’t had in a long time in WoW. Keep it up blizz
This and mage towers and the effort they put into making artifacts not shit are a couple of reasons I consider Legion my favorite expansion.

That gd orb maze almost drove me insane. I liked the shape untangling puzzle. It's now the blingtron circuit minigame. Pretty nice almost asmr game.
I love how it takes him half the video to get through all of the steps and the rest to get through the final step

I made a grid map in mspaint and manage to map and finish my maze faster than people with the addon
the addon often doesn't take into account the doors that send you to a random spot in the maze
the key is to not pick up any orbs but map out the whole maze until you've found all the orbs and glyphs, then use your map to match each of them
there are no duplicates of orbs and no dublicates of glyphs, so when you get teleported to a random room you just have to wander about until you find something new or old and adjust your map accordingly
solved the puzzle in 1 hour 12 minutes.

I really loved doing Lucid Nightmare, if there was more incentives to doing the maze I'd run it every week, great puzzle.

When I went to the crypt there were 4-5 dancing boomkin shooting bubble wands guiding all the adventurers towards the chest, its was an amazing sight
Me and my friend actually did this with a bit of help for the code. It was in the beginning when people didn't really know much of it. I kept my map, which I'm very proud of, a really messy peace of paper full of rooms. It was so fun to spend 5+ hours and to get that beautiful mount. :D

I did the exact same thing he did, with no addons, followed the guide on MMO-Champion and did it all in under 2 hours.
But there were 100s of other players doing it at the same time, so people were just stacked on top of some things that you had to click, which was also time-gated since only 1 person could click on it at one time every 5 seconds.
for anyone wondering, it took me roughly two hours to do the orb carrying part with no mapping or addons. I SUPER triggered by the end of it.
The way he's doing the maze is literally exactly how I did it lol took me 4hrs from start to finish

I did lucid nightmare along with the discord as soon as they were solving it over the course of several days. No addons but the maze part took about 3 hours
I haven't bothered with any addons either, used just a pen and paper to chart out my endless halls version
I was there as this was solved on discord, helped with some clues missed out on finding the puzzle in the hut by about 20 seconds lol.
Think i was one of the first on Draenor to get this. I got lucky with the pandaria bit, didn't take me too long

I did this run about a day ago and it was fine for the first half of the venture, yet when I reached the endless halls maze, it took me hours to maneuver and solve holy jesus. I’m glad I got it though I was close to just losing my mind.

He was lucky he didn't get a teleport room that fucks your entire shit up in the endless halls. But props to him for doing it without addons even if chat told him he couldn't do it. A ton of people did it with the addon.

I know nothing about w.o.w but this is entertaining just because soda’s playing it.
I did this mount with a friend with no map or anything else for the pandaria labyrinth. Overall the mount took us 3hours, the labyrinth itself 2.
I did the same thing with no addons.. took me like 7-8 hours to accomplish it all. The maze took the longest, I tied to draw a map but got mixed up and had to just run around to find the orbs.
I did it like this aswell. People who look for fast solutions do not appreciate hard work. I usually dont give a shit about mounts but you cant imagine how hc it feels doing something like this on your own.

I just did this without addons because the addon was out of date... I was in the last maze writing every room down in detail for 2 1/2 hours
This quest is nothing compared to Mourning's End Part II though.
Try using the quest log for that, and colour me impressed.
Damn you got lucky with the maze, i wish i had my paint file left because in the end it was pretty much useless because of all the twists and turns and shit *EVERYWHERE!*

Drawing it by hand worked way better than the addon IMO, when I logged out midway and got back later all the orbs had reset and the addonmap was gone but I still had my hand drawn one so I knew where everything was, otherwise it would have taken twice as long
Did this a few days ago without addons (didn't even know there are addons for this :D) but I did use Excel to understand my maze. It was really nerve wrecking but also rewarding (not just the mount) and I kinda liked it ... I mean "the journey"
oh and yes: the maze was easily the "worst" part and took me hours
i glitched the orbs and i never saw a purple rune or orb but still got it somehow it just gave me it after i got screwed on all the other parts i was racing my friends on

I did it with no addons, but did use the pattern tutorial...took two tries however. First shot, I literally dedicated 8 hrs to pain and frustration with the runes and balls. I quit, went to bed, got up the next day and had it in 40 minutes(since it all starts over if you log out w/o completion) It's DEFINITELY an RNG grind for this mount. Some ppl it took them weeks of trying for, some still don't have it b/c they got so pissed they quit.

I tried this mapping it myself with pen and paper, after finding out i didnt understand how the system worked and mapped for sh1t, and it was late, i just started running randomly till i got everything, it went really fast like that tbh.
