Emmerdale BOAT EXPLOSION! - Drone scene

Explosive action for ITV’s Emmerdale! 💥 We had two drones covering the scene which aired on 23.10.11. . .
To our huge disappointment, the heavy rain looked like it was going to keep the drones grounded. Weeks of planning and anticipation for this sequence was about to pass us by. A huge crew with 4 additional cameras were all trained on the boat, ready to capture this one-take firework. With literally 5 minutes to go before the detonation, the rain miraculously abated and we scrambled into position. Crazy loud and bigger than expected! We reversed the second clip for some creative fun! :)
