Right, coming from Staring Insect mix too and super surprised to see doomcore on this label and from an artist I had no clue did it, althrough I'm getting into new Mad Dog a bit late with the trend. I feel a bit starved too, Traumatic is dead, the glory days of DD are over, long time Remain Silent/Myrrh didn't pull out a track, Doomcore Records: no offense to the artists but honestly too amateur sound design and too ultra-early inspiration for my tastes, saved by Der Cherep but still not so much my taste. Mostly Diffuse delivers on a yearly basis and pulls out the best tracks I ever heard in the genre, Succubus Helna always here too, Starving Insect is back, I discovered Ronove, and Is:End's label is pretty active with varying quality and "feeling it", for my diagnosis of the style. I hope this whole techno trend in all EDM and downtempo trend in hardcore recreates a place for this; I could even trust japan to get a bigger hold on it, someone like Kobaryo to suddenly pull out a doomcore alias from nowhere like for his ultra experimental noise stuff.
