In all honesty, I've never consciously done a combo. The gel on it's own worked perfectly fine and I never felt the need to add anything else 😶
Today I just tried kinky curly knot today and The roux foam mousse it work out well. It gave me length and definition also the first time using mouse on my full head.
The WnG is giving!🥰💜 It looks gorgeous both before and after stretching. IDK why, but I was expecting that you would use the Curl Maker first and add the KCCC on top.
Me too. When kinky curly dries it gives more hold than curl maker imo

They changed that formula for the curl maker because a few years back I did a wash and go with it and it was 🔥 Tried it again and the hold is too soft and it flakes. It does not survive the stretch. Cost too much to have a soft hold. But I find I like the sheen and how it keeps my twists so I will be using it up that way but I promised myself I sold never do a wash and go with it again 💯

I am still trying to find the right wash and go combo, and all the combos I have tried so far all have made my hair flake city, and I can't stand it. I appreciate you showing different products to try. My hair is similar to yours in texture. I am on the struggle bus for real with wash and gos.
You could have added a little water in the gel container and shake it up to use the remainder of the gel.
Just add some water to the bottle to get the last of the camille rose. I do the same with UFD!.

The CR Curlmaker doesn’t flake on me when I use an oil underneath it like the CR cocoa nibs serum.
You just be trying to make me jealous swinging all that hair in my face 😂. The curls... The movement 😍 My hair don't move, it it don't move 😂 let me stop I'm getting better at defining it, it's just a coarse texture. My hair looks like miss serwaa here on CZcams. I still love my hair though, I'm just a founding member of the stiff here crew 😂 Anyway post you vids at anytime as you see we are here for it 🙌
I tried the curl maker on top of UFD. It was nice for 2 days but I couldn’t get 6 day wear like I’m used to. I know you’ve tried the doux mousse def and didn’t like it. But give it a try using it on damp hair with no other product. It has slip, great definition and the hard cast hold. But it’s best on its own on damp or dry hair.

I love the kinky curly. I tried the Camille Rose and wasn’t a fan. I could never get the curl maker to work for me.

Same! Once I run out of the curl maker, it’s a wrap. Too many products out there to be making this work but I’m glad I tried. Nine times out of ten, it flakes on me.
I can’t recall if I commented this before, but have you tried a foam-only WNG? I would loveeee to see you try the AG Cloud by itself, I think you would enjoy it and it’d be similar to the outcome you’re looking to get from a cream! Tons of volume
You could also do Mousse Def by itself but I thiiink the hold should be stronger than the AG Cloud so you’d be getting more definition than volume
I did this combo a while back Omg🤩🤩🤩🤩 for me, the combo was definitely defined and separated but was pretty soft hold though
Yeah, the hold did not last for as long as I thought it would! It was literally starting to puff up at the roots by the next day. Did it flake on you?
@@BrittanyMia from my memories I can’t necessarily recall but you know how some botanical gels bead up after a few days if your water to product ratio is slightly off, or too heavy handed on product… but other than that no like visual flakes
Makes my hair way too sticky. Which combo will allow me to touch my hair without sticky residue days later?! Am I applying too much? I love this combo but if its humid, forget it. I’ll feel like a wet dog. Lustrasilk leave-in, Camille rose, then kinky curly. My hair feels so moisturized tho :(

As usual great video! Im actually using a combo myself. I usually use aunty Jackie don’t shirk gel alone, but today I used it with the As I am castor oil water spray and curling jelly! I forgot how much my hair loves As I Am products in general, so I’m usually the line again. I’m looking forward to seeing how my hair reacts to this product for the next few days ( usually my wash and gos can last for 5-6 days at time)

I normally don’t try new methods because my tried and true just works for me, but I was curious about just using gel as a styler after washing.
First I tried the Kinky Curly Knot Today with the Curling Custard and that was okay. But pairing the Kinky Curly’s Curling Custard with Camille Rose Curl Maker made for a better wash n go. My hair turned out so soft and defined. This is a combo I will continued to use in the future! These two gels paired well together, and I am surprised that even just using gel my hair responded well.

Never thought of doing this combo. Like you I’m at this point with my bottle of curl maker. I will open the bottle and transfer the product in a small container. I bought a botanical gel this week because it was on sale (9.99 which are not price we easily get in 🇨🇦) . It’s the aloe berry gel from alikay natural. Can’t wait to see the next combo you will be trying.

I tried this combo just because, and I HATED it. The curlmaker doesn't do it for me. I got it on sale at Sallys, but since I don't live close to the store, I ordered it online. Not sure how to get a refund still. Every day I see it collecting dust in my product bin 😅😅
I currently use the uncle funky daughter curly magic (original formula) and the Kinkiy curly custard and I’d it’s not these products it’s generally my hair lol idk how to make my wash n go last longer than three days no matter what method or product I try.

I don’t. I’ve been trying it in different combinations but it either flakes or it doesn’t. Once I get rid of it, I probably won’t be repurchasing it for a long time, if at all.

I tried kinky curly and I think I need to use without a leave-in because I got little to no curl definition😢. I think I’m just going to stick with Innersense I create hold gel, because nothing else is doing it for me.
Honestly, I think that’s great. I’m trying out all these products, but at the end of the day I won’t be using majority of these again once I use them up. Innersense is such a great brand. Still give the kinky curly a try without the leave-in and see how that works but, I’m glad Innersense is what works for you.
Hi Brittany I have a question do you use the hooded dryer that is like a triangle shape? Because i herd some people say it it blows the hair everywhere and messes up their wash n gos because the air is circulating rather than the cone shaped ones that blow downward. I hope that made sense 😂I wanted to know if you had this problem if you had the triangle shaped one ( like the dryer in the video when you got your hair done in your most recent video with Brianna)
