- You may have seen some home decor wall hangings that have several panels grouped together to create a larger panoramic scene. That is the concept of this card, but obviously on a much smaller scale! Once you get the concept of how to cut each piece, it really is quite easy. Enjoy the tutorial!

Watching in May 2024. Beautiful card. I actually made in the middle of the night.
Thanks for directions. Congrats on your 20k.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like this card. I love the design too. Hope you can join my Monday night LIVE 20K Party! 8:00 p.m. (ET)
I love this idea. It looks time consuming, but the result is worth the effort. Thank you.
It really isn't too hard. Basically, cut the equal width strips from one piece, keep them in order, then trim a little off the tops and bottoms appropriately. It's pretty easy compared to some other card designs. Give it a try a few times! You'll see how it goes. Good luck, and thanks for your comment!
Nice! Easy to follow instructions. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Donna! I'm so glad you found it helpful.
Love the way this card has been created and will be trying it soon.

You are welcome. Making techniques work simply is often my goal. Thanks for watching.
Easiest directions I’ve seen so far! Thank you!
Thanks, Teresa, that's my goal. So glad it is helpful!
Thank you for sharing.you made this so simple. I have seen this and never thought I could make this card. Thanks again
Oh good! I'm glad, Claudia. My goal was to make it easy. I believe if you understand the concept, the execution is easier. (Mist be the teacher side of me! 😉) So go ahead and try it! It's fun. Once you get going it gets even easier.
I love this very effective design and plan to use it soon. Luckily I bought the Sailing Home suite when it first came out so have the stamps and dies and papers and...all of the goodies! The hexagon and Tailored Tag punches live on my desk so I always get perfect banner tails since I never get them even when using scissors.
I'm songlad you will give it a try. It really goes quickly once you get the plan down. I love the Sailing Home collection. Sad to see it go. Have fun with these cards.
Very nice card suggestions!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment.
I just love this!!! I have tons of SU DSP from over the years (began stamping 1999). I have kept it for something "special". Thanks to you and this video, I can now use it for a lot of beautiful cards. All my May BDCs will be using this technique - with a note to direct them to this video!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
You are very welcome! I'm so glad you like it. (I've been hoarding DSP since 2003 as well.) This card is an impressive technique but not very difficult. I will be using it for an upcoming class, for sure! (What is a BDC?)
Have only just discovered your channel, Lorraine, and I’m so glad i did. I love your cards.
Oh, thank you, Celina! I appreciate your comment. Stay tuned!
Lovely works! I really appreciate your detailed instructions! Haven’t done this before but I think I can follow yours! Also love the simplicity of your designs thanks so much. Been watching most of the day because I’m sitting with my foot up, broken toe.
Oh no, Sherry! I hope your toe heals soon. Good excuse to sit around and watch videos though! (LOL) Thank you for your compliment. I'm glad you are enjoying them. As a former teacher by profession, I try to break down the steps so that they are easily understood. I hope you stay tuned for more.
Beautiful!
Thank you! This is a really fun one to do. I hope you try it!
Pretty card!
Thank you, Carol. 🥰
Lots of videos out there with this technique. Your's is the best. So easy to understand. Thank you so much.
Thank you, Valerie! It is often my goal to make things easy and understandable. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for your comment.
WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL DESIGN, Lorraine! TERRIFIC DIRECTIONS throughout, too! Whenever we can create designs that SHOW OFF the lovely SU DSPs (and there are a ton!!) I LOVE IT!! The DSP does the work (mostly) and gets to “be the star” of the card! I look forward to seeing a few more of YOUR DSP choices, too! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Sending SMILES from Madison, WI! :-))))) Have a lovely day! :-)
Thanks for your lovely comment, Judith. I agree with you about the gorgeous dsp and there is much more about to come with the new catalog! Are you a demonstrator? If so, then you know what I'm talking about! If not, then you'll get some sneak peeks real soon. Happy stamping!
Great card design
Thank you, Julie!
Great card, you are very clear showing how to do it, very much appreciated thank you.😊

I'm so glad! Thanks for watching.
Love your cards! Your method looks easier than another I saw. Do you by chance have the measurements written down so I could print out? Thanks for sharing! 👍😁💕
Thank you, Dawn! Once you understand the concept, it's easier than just ring to cut a bunch of measurements. I will put instructions up on my blog soon. Please stay posted!
My FAVORITE way to do cards ... when I have a "block". I'm a hobby demo in Michigan...
Hi Billie! Thanks for watching from Michigan. Have fun with it. Some of the new dsp patterns from the new catty will look awesome on this type of card!
@@stampwithlorraine5074 I was late getting my new catalog.. I forget it's a fiscal year.. lol. But.. yes. The newer DSP is Gorgeous. I wanted to be a more Active demo... but.. I use another company a Ton- so- I just advertise my Own art... using stuff I can use without penalty. I do a lot of 3D paper craft.. so, I get a kit sub from another place, and, I buy their die range. Most are limited runs. I ❤️ SU punches.. and, I don't think you can have too many trimmers, or inks, or stamps. I have about 250 die sets. Both SU and the other company. I buy stamps and dies from a smaller online business too.. so. I just like to watch a Couple of people. I liked your channel, immediately.
Sorry so long winded..
Beautiful papers
Stampin' Up! does have some really nice ones. Love the double sided as well!
beautiful
Thank you! 😊
I happen to come across your website and I watched your video. You are very creative and your directions are clear and to the point. I subscribed to your website.
Thank you so much! Appreciate that, and am glad you are enjoying it.
Hi. I love the glamour of your Art Deco style cards, they're just fabulous! What size is your finished card? Thank you for sharing your wonderful skills and ideas. I hope you are having a good weekend.
Thank you so much, Deb! The finished card is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. Glad you enjoyed this. I think it's kind of neat too
Oh Lorraine, I just made my first panoramic card & I am over the moon. I love the way you teach techniques! I’m a big fan, thank you for sharing your talents. ☀️ Have you tried doing this technique using embossing folders?
I'm so glad you tried it and love as I do! Yay! And it's really easy too, if you cut the big piece first, the way I suggest, right? I love your idea of embossing folders....Will try that. Let me know if you do too.❤️
Seems a little fiddley but I'd give it a try because it has such an effective outcome. 😉
It really isn't bad... give it go! You can do it!😊
Mooie kaarten.
Thank you! 😊
Studding card design! Thanks for sharing- Ill have to give this a try!
Please post the cutting instructions / dimensions. - Thanks!
Hi Julia! I'm so glad you like these. I will post the measurements on my blog very soon! Visit StampWithLorraine.com Thanks for watching.
I would love to see how you finish the inside of this card.
I simply took a thin leftover piece of the same designer paper and ran it down the side. I like to keep the insides simple to leave room for writing. Thanks for watching and for your comment. 😊
What size is your white card base. Your design is lovely Lorraine TFS
Hi Kathy, I start at 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4". I'm glad you like it.

TFS
My pleasure! Thanks for watching. 😊
What size is your card base?
8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Could u make cards for 4 in by 5.5?
Hi Donna! It is not our standard size here in the U.S., so I don't do that size. Of course you could adjust the measurements to be a little narrower. Make your layers smaller than your card in 1/8" or 1/4" increments. Thanks for watching.
Where do theses items come from?
Hi Margie. All materials I use are from Stampin' Up! Is that what you mean? You can shop on my online store lorrainecich.stampinup.net. If you have any questions or want to request a catalog, contact me at lorraine@stampwithlorraine.com
Lorraine I’m just wondering, why didn’t you trim the card stock and DSP before you cut the strips? In my head it would have taken less time overall and the possibility of being ever so slightly short on any piece would be eliminated. I’m new to card making so what might seem logical to someone with more experience isn’t for me. Thank you. Never mind. I continued watching and got my question answered. 😊
Oh good! Glad it was helpful. There are different ways to do things. Just have to find what works best for you. Thanks for watching. 😊
@@stampwithlorraine5074 I was too quick to wonder why and didn’t wait for the answer. I love your channel.
