- Here is my Family Vacation Meal Prep Ideas video! Bring your own food with you on your next vacation so you can save money and not waste the food you have at home. I think bringing your own food with you to a vacation rental where you have access to a kitchen, can save you so much money! Also, it allows the flexibility to eat breakfast in your pajamas while on vacation, rather than having to get dressed and go out and eat meals.
In today's Family Vacation Meal Prep video, i'm showing you what i'm bringing with us for our 4 night and 5 day vacation to the beach and the woods in Northern California. All of this food will be eaten/made in the two different airbnb's that we'll be staying in.
I'm prepping enough food in an ice chest for:
4 breakfasts
4 lunches
2 dinners
Snacks
All of the items that need to be kept cold will be surrounded by frozen water bottles (that we can use later for our trip home when there isn't anything left to freezer). Any pantry/non-perishable items will be packed into a large grocery bag.
I also bake some banana chocolate chip muffins with overly ripe bananas and some waffles that I will freeze and take with us. I'll be posting those recipes to my blog soon, so make sure your subscribed to my channel and i'll be sure to post the links here!

Yes we always pack when we travel. It's lot work but saves so much. And much healthier. Mom's never get a true vacation 😆 Always take your cooler inside a couple days before you leave and put some ice in it . If it's cold already it do better.

Everything looks great! We need to be better at actually sticking to our plan of eating in our Airbnb. We always say we’re going to and end up going out! 😂-S
Steoh!! 😍 Haha I feel you, there's so many restaurants to see and eat at when traveling, but making food at the vacation rental means we can get an extra night or two out of our vacay! We went to two restaurants during our stay and it ended up being perfect cause then we weren't sick of dining out all the time.

At sleepy hollow the waffles I got were always chewy so I haven't tried them again. Which was too bad because I really wanted to like that and they look good in pictures
Oh noooo! Chewy and cold are seriously the worst 😭 I think maybe I got very lucky cause mine was pretty crispy! Maybe give it one more try sometime! 💕
Hi Alicia ! Welcome back :) I am team SAVORY ... I like bits of chorizo and jalapeno in a waffle, I can make those too ... Same goes for ham and minced green pepper, etc ... It's only a runny egg, (maybe some salt and butter,) and black pepper on a pancake for me, I really don't care much for syrup. I also prefer savory dinner crepes. Yummy !!
