For a more "kid-sized" option I imagine you could make smaller burgers and use little smokies for the appendages.😊👍

I've had this before but it was slightly different. Instead of normal hot dogs it was with cheddar wurst so that when you bite into it the cheese would ooze and give it a very thick gushy texture. Very yummy and thank goodness you didn't use actual turtles lol

That’s enormous! I think I’d skip the bun and opt for knife and fork, or maybe use smaller burgers, half size bacon and mini cocktail sausages for appendages and head. Such a cute idea.
Not sure if you have done so but a Navajo Burger is damned tasty (essentially Navajo fried bread stuffed with a cheese burger, split open once fried and then topped with your favourite burger stuff). Very tasty

The vegan version of ground meat and bacon (your choice) and Morning Star hot dogs. Those are my personal favorite!

I just finished dinner (something poured out of a can into a bowl & doctored before microwaving) and now I am *famished* -- gotta gotta gotta try making these!!
I wonder if you could make the turtle with crescent rolls or some such as the shell...
You'd probably have to bake the rolls separate from the burger and then use the rolls for the bun. The burger takes 45 mins to an hour to cook, the crescent rolls take like 10 mins to cook.

If you use oppas brand jalapeno cheddar sausages and cut them into fourths lengthwise they'll curl at the ends and have green flecks, and the ooey gooey cheese trapped in the middle with cheese from the ends melting down and forming a crust around the burger 😊😊

Ugh this is unrelated to the video…but I know you understand my frustration! McDonalds got rid of the rehydrated onions! It’s now a tiny tiny amount of actual white onion from the grill. IMHO..doesn’t work as well at all 😩

I wonder if you can demonstrate making sliders out of the little smokies same exact concept but small so their slider size, also cook in less time since less raw meat.

I live in Northeast Arkansas and a town close by is called 😮Lepanto, AR and they have a festival called the Teripan derby which is a turtle race and they have music, vendors, and it's kinda like a flea market. You purchase a turtle and if your turtle wins you get a prize.

I think I would use cocktail franks instead of full sized hot dogs. It would still be SO MUCH food, but slightly less than 3 full hotdogs and a burger with bacon!

This might be ok once in a blue moon. 3 hot dogs, burger meat, and 4 pieces of bacon. Definitely not a meal one should have more than once or twice a year.
