there are bad games then inexplicably trash games. Like when the rest of your team is 25-3 with good damage and good heals and 1 player is 3-12 for some reason. Thats not a bad game. There is something else going on. I'm not even close to GM but I've never once had an ultra trash game when the rest of the team was doing just fine.

@@ralphforbes5807 i still say there is a level of bad that is inexplicable. And sometimes they have their profile open and you look and they play 90% dps but average like 3k dmg and 11 elims a game but then somehow have a way better record than you. It doesn't make sense.
Lol still not a reason to really rip out on someone, especially in lower ranks, because expecting anything to be done well there is generally just a bad way to see it, focus in you an move on, it's one match if they string together probably not the day to play ow
I was playing a game of master 1/GM5 yesterday and the enemy team had either an absolute thrower or was completely boosted. On junkrat they went 2 and 13 in a game that lasted 7 minutes. The worst part about it was the fact that I was one of those kills.
I mean sometimes you just catch a bomb that bounced off of several walls, nearly 10 seconds after it sailed over your entire team

I had someone like this in my quickplay game the other day, was support, very clear he didn’t know how the hero’s worked. He walked into the enemy as mercy with her staff out and was trying to shoot a Winston with the healing beam, he played 7 different hero’s and each one it was clear he had no clue what he was doing. Never wall rode as Lucio, was trying to boop enemies 50ft away, and every time they shielded as brig they stood completely still, and threw immortality field at the tank after the team fight. I’m only mid plat but it’s still a marvel that players like this exist throughout the ranks

I had this literally yesterday, but with 3 people on the enemy team. Trying to play Doom Sombra and Soldier. It was as if they hadn't picked up the game before. Watching the replay it didn't look like throwing, they played just like the guy in your vid.
You can't be mad at them for being in your games, Blizz put em there.
if that happens in QP thats just a case of shit happens. But in Top 500 games? that account has to be bought no way he made it there even with all the luck in the world on his side.
The system doesn't put new players into GM games unless they think they may be a GM. It's going to start them off in lower ranks, and if they are completely destroying those lower ranked players then sure, the system will start putting them in the higher ranks.

i once had a game where one of our support had 11k healing and the other had like 2 or 3k max healing, i dont know what they where doing but not healing thats for sure and when we commented on it they typed back instantly

It's just another case of even in top 500/gm lobbies, there will be times you end up with teammates that do anything. It's not all sunshine and rainbows with people always playing up there.

Yeah, I have players like this literally every other game between gold and diamond. Yesterday I had 2 players, a tracer and sombra, on my team who had less than 700 dmg each in an entire round and both went 0-10. This was in a plat 3 game.

he play sombra same as me.. i never play sombra and i dont know the buttons. so i press randomly . to me it looks like someone was having a party and one guy says "hey i`m gm" and the other guy says i`m silver but i`m sure i can play in gm and that gm says "oh lets see what you can do !
My most recent Gold1/Plat5 game someone on my team likely bought an account because they were 0 and 9 playing as ana. She was front lining the entire game had roughly 2k healing, 900 dmg and nano'd me twice (im a mercy btw) despite us having a genji and pharah

I'm in masters on playstation and I can't tell you the amount of times I get players like this.
That’s my experience for console as well. I have had multiple games with DPS or tanks that do 1-2k damage in a 15 minute game. I have no idea what the MMR and matchmaking system is in the game. You have to literally be trying to miss bullets to perform so horribly.

What should I do if I wanna play comp OW but I’m scared I’m gonna throw? Like I’ve been playing long enough to understand heroes and there abilities and all of the basic stuff but I feel like if I hop into Comp im gonna just cost my teammates cause im unsure of how to properly play comp in this game. Any tips or recommendations???
Just hop in and play dude you're not gonna be put in super high level games at first. The best advice is to mute voice-chat and text-chat. Like, mute everything and just play your best. Remember that if you lose games the matches will start getting easier until you're at the right level for you so just relax and don't worry about winning or losing at first and just play a bunch of games! Mute comms though cos people can be sooo toxic. If you're trying your best then you're not throwing even if you do bad. Once you're placed at the right ranked level then you can turn on comms again if you want to but it's only really helpful from like Diamond up in my opinion.

something is going on right now. some friends of mine and myself, reported hacked smurf accounts that are on ebay and some other platforms.
some arab lady bought one of my hacked smurf accounts and deranked heavily.
luckily i got it back, but ohh boy my account was gm1 and after she played it got deranked to silver 2 in one day xD.
this is legitimately what I've dealt with in my fucking diamond-masters lobbies for the past 3 days. people being 1-7 with 1800 damage max after the whole game.
I think some website mustve had a sale or something because there's no fucking way those people are legit. they usually have the BALLS to say "im not being healed"
im also t500 atm and i played against a sombra who got 2 kills the entire game - one on an idle bap who was typing and the second on a bastion who was standing still hiding from a dva bomb. i was on zen and died once the whole game, he didn't hack me a single time and he solo emp'd me and my ana and i immediately filled him with a right click. honestly the fact that i'm in gm/t500 should be evidence enough that the ranks are all kinds of fucked
