This festival is a nine days celebration beginning on the eve of the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar. It is believed that there will be rain throughout the nine days of the celebration, so remember to bring along an umbrella with you! The traffic around the temple is pretty bad.

Some of the food stalls open as early as 10.30am and most of them close at 1-2am
