I love milkdrop. Used to run it all the time. I still think it's one of the best virtual programs, the designs it makes are beautiful.

i literally plopped 4 instances of this exact same video into a playlist to use as a screensaver on my laptop (because i prefer to have the ACTUAL screensaver turned off for gaming) and loop it 24/7 (unless im gaming or doing a task that hogs up resources) on my external monitor (AKA: one of my TVs lol) because the specific TV i use as an external monitor for my laptop has screen burn-in issues. so whenever im not doing anything on that screen and it's just sitting idle, i run this video (4 times in a playlist, followed by the playlist repeating like a CD on repeat all) so that i dont get burn in because im admittedly too fuckin lazy to reconfigure my laptop resolution to a new TV.
also also, using this as a screensaver inspired me to redownload Winamp and run Milkdrop directly whenever im stoned out of my mind listening to FLACs in my good earbuds

try slowing it down and changing the transition periods for more immersive experience.. cheers...oh and add some music to hear lol
You can edit the visuals, but the program says it could become unstable. I did change the resolution, I took the music off because it was full of copyrighted audio
You can change the playback speed under video settings.
Also by just pressing space every transition in the music composition will bring you more into the music

Hi I want to ask you which codec and parameters you used to upload this stuff to youtube? H.264 or H.256 or another?
I Used Nvidia Shadowplay to capture the video, they were still using H.264 when I made the video. Maybe they will be moving to HVEC H.265 soon.

at 31mins it went on a journey. Simon, maybe you can help me. I want to greenscreen with this behind me dj'ing at 4k 60fps. I'd like to do this on a mac and live stream it if possible. maybe you can help me get his figured out. Wanting this to beat sync to my dj mix. My old modded Xbox gen 1 would be able to do it with XBMC, and I still have all the milkdrop visualizer files that went to that. this going, then also do AI video generated moving in-sync to the beat of the music then OBS overlays. this is new to me but sounds like fun to put it together. I'm in Atlanta, GA. thanks!
