i wish i could rewind the clock and go back to when i was eighteen again...life was so much more fun then..a better time.

i was 18 more than 60 yrs ago forgot how young and dumb i was back then.
Take it from this 65 year old man. The 70's were the best of times. The music, the movies, and most of all the freedom. If I had a time machine I'd go back and never leave.
Me too 😂😂❤x
This brings back the days when you could go out for an evening to have fun and be safe.
Totally agree! It was about dressing up, socializing and dancing your heart out to great dance music! And then a snack at the local diner. 🥂❤️
@@Peace-xu8ps Snack? LOL We always went for the omelettes and french toast. I has such great memories of dancing....dancing.....the night away.
True statement 👌 💯 👏
Why would anyone who lived through the seventies lie and say there wasn't crime in the cities. It was BAD!
@@deejin25 as someone from that Era crime wasn't what we see today with Mass shootings and Car jackings. Not saying that bad things didn't happen but today you truly run the risk of being shot at any time you step out your door
I want to take a minute to thank John Travolta & the bee gees for making my life so happy in the 70s 😎💃🕺🍾🥂🕶👠💎🚬🎸💽🎶🎵💜🧡💛💚💙❤💘💗💓💞💕💖💝🇺🇸
Totally I've always loved them and still do especially when I want to chill out and go back to that time brilliant.kids don't know what they're missing today I loved growing up in the sixties and seventies 😢😂❤x
People put down disco, but still dance to these songs, and go into real dance mode. Tell me, who can't look at John Travolta and drool! Bee, Gees too!
Oh man.. I truly miss these days now. 😓 I was about 12 yrs old, but remember the world was happy 😁❤️.
The Bee Gees were it! I will always love those guys. God bless them for the good times and music they gave us. 💯♥️
70's &80's kids are the luckiest generation
The 70's was a great time to be young!
I was a 70s 80s kid. Music 🎶was the best.
This was such a great time in my life, glad I grew up when I did
1978,we were young and beautiful.
It doesn’t mater if you loved or hated disco in the 70’s, you just can not deny it’s cultural significance and overall representation of how music, in ALL it’s forms, has the power to move and unite us.
That's it. You're right.
Been ther done that and still love it - fuck rap shit - this is love
Exactamundo. Truth.
HUH??? Did you watch this video?
Disco sucks.
Now I know why everyone says " Thank God Disco is dead."
@Steve Onice I agree the music that my generation has today sucks.
I was nine when this movie came out, I was envious of my older cousin he use to get ready in front of the mirror with his feathered hair and polyester shirt getting ready to meet up with his friends looking for chics on a Friday night. I do remember being pickup by our friends on the next block over and going roller skating. I couldn’t wait for couples only to skate with my girl Carry to How Deep Is Your Love by The Bee Gees. What a Great time to be a kid!
If you gave me a time machine I would go back to 1970's age of disco in a heart beat.. it was the best of times and everyone was just having fun!!
Same here.totally loved growing up in the seventies I can't see what people listen to today's music as I don't class it as music.beegees forever.❤❤x
The Disco era was magnificent - it was a huge part of American culture. There will never be anything like it again and the Bee Gees were the kings of Disco.
And Donna summer was the Queen.
Good lord boys and girls. Im 59 and we grew up in a great generation. My fiancee was born in 1975 so we will have to get Saturday Night Fever with it.
John Travolta was some dancer in his day love watching him dance the bee gees where great singers loved then all
People made fun of disco but there has never been such an individually expressive musical phenomenon in history. You look at the world today and that era seems so magical in comparison.
Semplicemente brividi! ❤😍
In the 70s disco was all there was. Similar to ballroom in the 30s, jive in the 50s, rock and roll in the 80s. Each era had its own trend. But none had the impact of disco. As for those making fun of it, saturday night fever grossed 282 million, 400 thousand. Some joke!
Disco sucks. I never seen such awful dancing.
Now I can see why everyone says, "Thank God Disco is dead".
@@mochatech121 Thank god people are boring and cynical at such a young age these days. Good luck with getting older, it only gets worse!
@@Blujonny11 Sorry that nowadays young people don't get into the drugs and alcohol like they did back in that time; and also young people nowadays work a lot harder on getting better educations, and are much more gainfully employed than those past hooligan days of your time.
That past time in history is notorious.
Best dance era ever and the music is still got it going on ! I’m 62 and I still dance when I hear it !!
62 myself and still gotta move to these good ol' tunes! Miss those disco days. Nobody uptight. Just gettin' out there and gettin' your groove on!! Peace out.
Yes! It's the best and happiest 😁❤️💯
@@tombeyer375 I agree 😁💯❤️, I'm 55 and Much rather listen to this music than the BS music today.. depressing.
Me too 😊
Same feeling because I am of same age 😊
I took disco dancing lessons!!! Lmao
God, what a voice!!! John Travolta knew how to dance!! Disco was awesome, to those that don't remember it. That's where the cool kids went.
I just realized they were line dancing.
@@freshstart4423 Yep old school line dancing. It is a very old concept
@@countrygirl7402 😇🇺🇲
John Travolta was choreographed by Lester Jones for Saturday Night Fever. Outstanding dancer!
Dancing made anyone cool!
My daughter says i need to come out of the 70s with the Bee Gees i brought my granddaughter and introduce her to the Bee Gees and now we ride and listen to the greatest group ever
Thank you
Prayers going up for Barry Gibb please don't leave us now 💔💔💔
John Travolta was perfect for the part! Never knew how talented he was as a dancer/actor 🙂
If you watched Welcome Back Kotter, he gave you a glimpse of
a little move here or there, so you knew he could dance. But you
did not know the extreme talent that he had. Somebody noticed,
or he would have not got the lead for the film. It would be
interesting to see who else tried for the part. If Travolta was the
first to show his skills, I would imagine those who watched simply
headed for the nearest telephone to call their agent for another film
project!
BeeGees were and still are awesome. There music will live on for generations to come.
lol

A timeless masterpiece...unforgettable movie and music ....Thanks
John Travolta’s epic dance scene combined with the magnificent Bee Gees disco melody is a musical masterpiece etched in eternity. It never ages… I’m so grateful I lived this unforgettable disco era. Magical.
I was there too,and what a permanent memory it made! My mind lives there everytime I hear a disco song! Oh how I wish for time travel! The singers, the songs, the dance, the movies, the clothes, the hair....just so amazing a time, man!!! I LOVE YOU BEE GEES FOREVER 💖💖💖💖💖
Watched a documentary on the Reelz channel about the making of this movie
It said it took John Travolta 11 months to learn that dance
Find the documentary it’s really good
@@maryannvicente4257 Ah yes ...all that feel good stuff, when life felt so much more fun, innocent and free. Do you think it's a generational thing? I remember my parents reminiscing about their youth.

Nothing like listening to the Bee Gees and. Watching. John. Travolta in this movie!🎞🎬🎥🍿
The music is timeless from the movie Saturday Night Fever. The Bee Gee's really out did themselves. I loved the music and I still do.
I didn't remember the line dance from the movie but it's cool as hell. I am 66 years old now so I don't think I could dance like that anymore.
Ein super toller Song zu einem tollen Film! Ich höre die Bee Gees noch sehr gerne und das obwohl ich bald 68JAHRE alt werde. Ihre Musik 🎶 🎶 wird ewig leben! 😮😮😮😮😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Nothing like the good ole days, dancing the night away to great music!
When this came out Capital Radio played this every 10 mins-thats how good it was and still is-will be played within 100 years and beyond!
I was dancing in the Disco’s in Europe when I was 15 in 1973!
They played popular American Music! I was in college when this movie came out and still dancing in the Discos! Had the dresses and shoes.
70’s Music is still ROCKING! Best Ever! 💜
Best times ever. Just loved it x
I am 62 and I live where this great group grew up in, in Australia, I enjoy dancing this music, forever disco👏👏👏👏👏
as a teenage rocker in the eighties this was definitely a nono.. now i'm 53, it's 2022 and i love it!
thanks for putting this up 🙂
Dude...your now lame
I know what you mean. I went from Zeppelin and block parties and beer drinking to Discos
and getting dressed up and dancing. Both were fun in a different way.
@juan abee that's funny!! Because I thought it was called shit
Exactly, I am 54 and I would never had admitted to liking this in HS - you wouldbe an outcast... but thankfully new people are discovering it, and bringing it back in reaction videos.
So amazing.
I’m 75 Today and still love the Movie & The Music Bee Gee’s
I love The Bee Gees since 1967 ! I love the 70s disco music but love the other 70s and 60s songs ! I love mostly all music but really love The Bee Gees !
Miss those wonderful days. ❤️❤️❤️
This is the best dancing era ever and John Travoltas dancing was magnificent and the Bee Gees Night Fever is an absolute masterpiece that will live on forever.

Remember these days getting ready to hit the tiles great memories of just dancing as if no one was watching that's the best way
This music and movie defined a generation- for me my earliest childhood memories are of this period of the 70s - the height of disco - my older sister who was a tween in middle school and her friends would be playing the bee gees on their 45s and this time period will never be replicated- only in our memories now- some of my happiest memories are connected to the bee gees and their music- i can’t be the only one
I live in Idaho I've always lived in Nampa Idaho close to Boise in Boise we had a disco that was named Grove Street in the late '80s it became deja vu but during the 70s and early 80s it was Grove Street this disco tech had the lighted floor just like on Saturday night fever it also had the huge disco ball. this disco had two different bars one at an adjacent angle to the main bar but the main thing that was cool about this disco it had these four fog machines that were about four feet in diameter red lights would start flashing and when the dancers were too hot these machines would come down out of the sky and come down to three ft .and it would fog out the whole Disco and everybody would get cool down I was 13
years old in 1977 I got my first car a 1979 and we went to the Disco it was awesome it was a very cool place to be and yes Saturday night fever will live on for some of us I like your article a lot that's the only reason I'm adding my point to it brought tears to my eyes thank you.
You're not the only one. We were in Sacramento CA in the late 70s (I was six or seven years old) and my older sister was also super into the Bee Gees. Disco is some of the first music I really remember.
This movie wouldn't be the same w/out our beloved guys. All the songs are great still to this day. My era was the 70's - the 90's & disco was the utmost greatest time @ that point in time
Have to agree with you---although the sixties also has a lot of excitement .!
I was lucky to be 17 and in the USA when this movie struck , I was in high school for a year , and I Bought the white suit and black shirt , ordered a 77 at the bar at the Stock exchange nightclub and I thought I was cool as hell , before anyone gets clever , in Montana in those years you could drink hard liquor at 18 , and they rarely carded you , and hey I was British, we never lie 😂😂😂
@@petrus666love Good comment. The 70's thru the 90's was my era. We all feel cool back then. Loose times w/very little resistances. Anyone remember the dances called the bump (my fav) & the Hussle?

When I hear all these songs from the BeeGees I could cry, we never realised how lucky we were - look @ 23 horrid world ,no fun, no TALENT people.
I was the DJ at a club named The Lighthouse in Nederland Texas in the early 70's. We were way ahead of our time. We had a lighted dance floor similar to this one that pulsated to the music. We were packed full several nights a week. I left in 1976 and then disco exploded with Saturday Night Fever. I have always regretting that I missed out on the disco era. But it was fun and was a great time in my life.
