    And here in my country i see 90% of people use running shoes in the gym for everything. 😢I was one of them. They need to watch this.

      Same...these are low-key two of my favorite shoes atm for running and lifting

    I used to be that person that wore running shoes for everything. My parents weren’t able to buy me more than 1 pair back in the day so I had no choice 😂. No wonder squat, lunges, and any leg exercise that wasn’t running or machine presses, felt like shit. My ankle would wobble so much. Definitely buying the drop set 2’s. Especifically for squatting/leg day. I still use running shoes as daily’s tho for walking, runs, and grocery shopping. I’m only doing legs 2x a week so.

    Nice shoe choice. Boston 12 are my go-to running shoe and I just got the Dropset 2 for the gym. Never used to lift in proper lifting shoes growing up. I feel like shoes have become a little more optimized for different purposes today than 5-10 years ago.

      Boston 12s are sick. Been loving mine...sad I cut them for this video NGL. It's cool seeing how far shoes/biomechanics have come!

    Running shoes are awful for leg exercises like squats and lunges in the gym, training shoes are simply a requirement.

      Yeah, I'm with you there. Better to invest in the right tools out of the gate then "wait" until you need them, imo.

    Pretty cool. Are you gonna do a cut in half review of the Dropset 2?

    Hello! I have the gym 2.5 km from my house and I want to go running, what shoes can you recommend for easy running and then training at the gym?

    • @thatfitfriend
      @thatfitfriend  Před 6 měsíci +3

      Reebok Nano X3 / X4, Inov-8 F-Lite G 300, RAD ONE could all work!

    Any recommendations on training shoes that can also handle a 1-2 mile run? I was looking at the TR1s

    Can we wear slip on shoes? For gym?

    • @thatfitfriend

      Depends how you're training, but yeah, technically! Just gotta factor in training intensity and security

    Which shoes then will be good for long walks?

    • @thatfitfriend
      @thatfitfriend  Před 6 měsíci +2

      I'd go for a running shoe if you like a plusher ride. Trainers for long walks that I like include RAD ONE and Haze Trainer!

      LOL, I guess I'll take that?
      It can to some extent depending on stack height and midsole density. That can be an entirely separate video, though!
