Hopefully this opens brawlhalla’s eyes on how Battle Boots have almost no recovery frames on miss and could attack instantaneously. Unless it’s just me who feels that way.

Y si, el tiempo de recuperación de las botas aún está muy OP. Es obvio que alguien como Sandstrom las iba a usar, independientemente de su habilidad, que le sobra, obviamente con cualquier otro personaje, sin botas, hubiera ganado Pavelski fácilmente. Pero bueno, fue un combate justo y Pavelski se mandó un clip, supongo que me voy satisfecha

I really wanted Pav to win, I think sandstorm played only battle boots because he was a bit scared of losing. If he was confident enough playing against Pav, he would play a more difficult weapon…
This is such a dumb take. Sandstorm was on boots for the whole tournament, and who decides to play a weapon they have a harder time with in a competitive environment?

Also pavel isn't even top 10 on its own region, he just doesn't like that much 1s cuz neutral gameplay, that's why he does better in 2s, also he won 1 or 2 minor tournaments and litterally used to compete against Acno for the top on its region, this is not prime Pavelski and I know Sandstorm isnt also on its prime, but sandy has been practicing a lot more trying to keep up with new pros while pavel just messes arround cuz dumb lol

@@1298blaster The better player objectively usually wins more tournaments, and places higher more consistently. Sandstorm has won more tournaments in 2021 than Pavelski has won in his entire career. And even if we want to talk about recent placements, Sandstorm has been performing far better, winning 2 Majors in 2023, and Pavelski winning none. It's been quite a while since we've seen Pavelski in the Grand Finals of any major tournament. I'm not sure what basis your using to determine who's the better player, because just looking at the statistics everyone can see that Sandstorm performs better, both recently and overall.

I don’t know man, I feel like most pros are nervous, especially at LAN’s. Even taking in the large multitude of tournaments Sandstorm has been in, I bet he was probably nervous as well, it wouldn’t surprise me.

@@beersoap8406his is gonna be a bit of a long one, so bare with me. I had the opportunity to fight against a pro a while back, named Mowgli. I got destroyed as I’m only Mid Plat. When I fought him, I found myself playing worse than usual. I panicked and threw sigs that just got me punished. I whiffed all my attacks, and I lost count of my jumps.
What I noticed was that I wasn’t playing worse, it was Mowgli which made me feel as if I was playing worse. Eggsoup said “a good player will make you feel like your playing worse”, or something along those lines. And I feel like that may be the case for Pavelski. Pavelski threw out sigs that got him punished, and couldn’t get all the reads he usually shows to get. Now I know that me, a Plat player fighting a Pro, or semi pro, may not seem like a great example. But I feel it conveys the message nonetheless.
And another great example is of Sandstorm fighting Impala with his Mordex. Sandstorm’s Mordex was known for taking stocks offstage, and there were few back in 2019 that could contest it. Then comes Sandstorm vs Impala. The offstage plays that Sandstorm was known for wasn’t really working on him. It seemed uncharacteristic. Like he wasn’t playing like he normally would. Why? It wasn’t Sandstorm that was playing worse, it was just that Impala was playing better.
So I would argue that it’s a difference in skill in which causes a player to play worse more so than pure nerves. No diss to Pavelski, he’s an amazing player.
Nerves, no denial, but EXTREMELY minimal AT BEST (not my opinion but fact)
The main reason he lost is because Brawhalla need's a PRE-GAME Champion Ban Phase to ban Boot Champions until they stop doing what every other weapon "CANNOT" do and that is exploit your dodge frames and NEVER EVER give you a chance to do anything. Which puts the Boots on a new phase of strength; called OP. Don't agree, choke on a penis. It's all facts and good advice for the Dev's to follow.

Premise: I follow Pavelski for a year now and never followed Sandstorm so I'm not a fan boy.
To me, expecially if I also think as in a real life death duel like times ago, when the same attacks are these that land you do have to do these attacks. That's because you have to live and do not have to please anyone. In the same way with a combact game, you compete on professional levels to win, not to show some spectacular skills and against a really powerful opponent also. Sand showed amazing skills by the way, way more powerful with insane readings, stress control and stage omnipresence with anime like movements. Extra, you never have to fall in the tactical manipulation of your opponent in a fight so no point for going offstage in this case. So pls, I don't care if he used some techniques more times, it was mesmerazing to me to see this match to be honest, also thanks to the BIG Pavelski and Sandstorm was stronger with no doubts not for battleboots that are as broken as scythe or lance or katars or cannon and not for repeating hits. It is the player not the champ neither the specific move. I mean... at the minute 09:50 Pavelski did a jawdropping and very skilled come back on stage to rush but did literally 0 effect. Guys. Stop. And the exact same response is literally what made Sandstorm win on final act...come on. It also seems to me that Pavelski did just lil more than usual on stream with every player but with an opponent that's not every player. Sandostorm is a BIG too. This time, the bigger one.

Thoose professional matches are actually used to show one's skill trough stylishness. It'll allow people to enjoy watching the one having style which is why everyone like Sandstorm's mordex and why lot of us were rooting for Pavelski
