That last duel was intense
They should start the stage with the cars staggered to offset the inner vs outer track. This way both don't have to fight for the inside lane. Please pass this to the host of the races.
No that's not how spectator drags works. It's a heads up race like any other, if someone wants to get to the bottom line then they'll have to beat their opponent to turn 1.
Traditionally at my track they try to put the faster car on the outside line.

Good to see that old Bonneville SSEi on the track. That's an older one with the Series 1 Supercharged 3800 V6. I had a 1996 SSEi with the Series 2 3800 SC V6. Quick cars with a few mods.
That first final race was an exciting one 👏
Hopefully next time i come up with the stinger i can get the launch control down get a better launch with it

That Charger must be an AWD 5.7. It's launch off the line is instant with no wheelspin.
Those mid 90s Bonneville SSEi's were great performance cars.
You can't get AWD in a charger with a V8. So it was impressive either way.
@@timdaoust4284 The Charger 5.7 came with an optional AWD in the early to mid 2010s. The Charger in the race is from that period based on the front and rear fascia.

Is “Stock Class” based on honesty or are there some actual checks and balances because any turbo car with tune can appear stock but have 100 hp more than stock.
Unfortunately they do not tech the cars. We have had guys run modified vehicles in this class before.

that red car is a Pontiac Bonneville SSEI with a supercharged 3.8L V6. unfortunatly it has a 90's GM suspension. great car in it's time.

Yeet! Fantastic racing, Nick gave me a great race. I had to use the entire track to have a chance, we both understeer like crazy. Both cars are evenly matched with v8s and awd so it all came down to coin toss imo. We are now 1 and 1 for these events next one is up in October, unless the S4 driver can learn the track and keep himself from sliding upwards, we'll meet again. Great video as always Carbon. Hope we put on a decent show.

@@Tracked350Z Continental crosscontacts 750 treadwear (allseasons, car is a daily wasn't planning on racing it this year so didn't setup summers for it) If the car was running summers it'd be much better, but I was planning on trading it in this summer and didn't want to buy new tires for a trade in... Plans changed.
Man I wish they had something like that around northern california, I'd be there every week haha.

That old school Bel Air and the old pick up are not stock. If they were they'd stand no chance against any of those cars. The engines that they have may be stock as in unmodified, but those are not the engines that came in them
If you want to make if fair then both cars should have equal runs on the inside lane... Dodge had the inside lane twice vs the Audi's one.

Anyone know what the black Audi 2 door is? Either the Quattro system is way cooler than I ever imagined or it's rwd. I'm not sure which would shock me more honestly
2 door one is S5, I think the main reason for the rear wheel drift is because of the optional sport diff (LSD)
The Audi awd on their V6 and up engines are rear wheel drive based AWD, 40/60 split
Audi invented the term "all wheel drive" in 1980 with the introduction of the Quattro Coupe. It changed rallying forever and the way many people view performance cars. There are several versions of Audi "quattro" (properly spelled with a lower case "q") AWD, but the ones you want for performance either have a 50/50% front-to-rear torque split or have more power going to the rear. Good performance AWD generally has a 40/60 to 20/80% front-to-rear split. A 50/50% split is generally best for snow.
@@kreaola93 Here in Europe it comes on high-output 2.0 TDI, low-output 3.0 TDI, 2.0 TFSI, 2.8, 3.2 and older 3.7 models as an option and standard on everything above that.

I'm going to guess that the Charger is all wheel drive, like the Audi. Just a touch more horsepower is what won it....oh, and the inside line.
Like someone else said, it's likely that the Dodge Charger was a 5.7 Hemi AWD. In stock form those WERE pretty fast and handled well for a big car.
