- The Boss RC-600 is a bit of a monster to fit on a pedal board, so I built my own. I Also made a demo Loop of using it after the build.

That's how I built my board before I got the 600. Sweet!
Love pedalboards with raisers! They look badass, plus more useful space available for "set and forget, always on" stuff. Although they're more difficult to transport, I hate accidentally stepping on my pedal knobs even more (as in regular pedalboards). Sweet looping too! 👌
Thanks. I love making up pedal boards. Feel free to check out other loop vids on my channel, here it the most recent one czcams.com/video/NYos3rKZLoY/video.html
Awesome build mate! Well impressed 👏 not to mention the playing 💪 excellent stuff mate, keep them coming! Could you do a video showing more of the internal set up for the rc600 please, levels and routing especially 🙏 thanks from England
Wow, thanks for the reply. Nice to know you were in to it, sometimes I think i'm just a gear head geek on no one is interested n the tech.. yea thinking of doing a setup vid any way. you can put on sub titles for a description of what I am doing. Cheers from almost England, Jersey
Sounding fantastic.... cool to see your evolution over the last few years... it’s an inspiration to guys like me , that are coming up behind you and still learning... love your channel. !!
Wow Thanks. feel free with any questions. Im better with tech than I am at playing. Ive worked in electronics most of my life and dabbles in music production for 20 years or so, but guitar is a much more recent thing. Also just started learning piano 6 months ago so i'm sure i'll squeeze that in somewhere eventually.
@@linzkirk thanks , I will ! I feel like I’m on the same path as you , just a ways behind.. lol I just recently posted a couple vids using the 500.. a little rough compared to your stuff .. but I keep at it.. I’m almost 60yrs old, shoulda started 50 yrs ago! 🤣🤣
@@dwstoeckel4740 Hi Again, yea just watched them. Nice, there is already progression from the first to the second. Im also in my 50's, I should of started 50 years ago too. You playing is great, nice eel in your leads too.
@@linzkirk nothin feels better than getting kind words from someone that’s walking the same path...lol

Smart pedal to calculate the rhythm.
Hope I have the knowledge to build a board like this! Cool! Did you build your own hard case for this too? :)
Sounds great! I struggled with the helix stomp, I think I lacked the patience to dial in all the sounds. Are you playing without amp?
No straight in to audio interface, also when I play live I go straight in to PA.
How do you get the RC 600 to record without the drum machine. I've tried & tried to get it to record without adding the drum sound & cannot figure it out enough to not have a drum trac ?
What power supply are you using for RC600 and Hx stomp?
One I modified from amazon, See my power supply video here. czcams.com/video/Zv3A0g6B6uk/video.html. I Have also made a 12v Powe supply so I can run it from my camper van.
Yo! Does yours also crash with system error 3071 when using the undo function a lot?
Mine has never crashed once. I use it Live, in the studio, and also running off my van battery. Its never crashed. Maybe try a firmware update if you haven't all ready
where the drums come from? Did you have to set those up before hand to tempo or something or was there some sore of "Ai " drummer?
Hi, I made the drum tracks in Ableton with Addictive Drums, I played them on an old Yamaha electric drum kit to capture the midi then tidied them up in the key editor as my timing wasn't that perfect. Then I Imported them on to the RC600 on channels 4 & 5, I used the internal rhythm on the RC600 as a click track in my headphones only so my loops would be in time with the drums. Personally I don't think the drums on the RC600 sound great, thats why I made my own. If you turn on subtitles it will give you a description. Thanks
@@linzkirk awesome thanks for the reply!!
😮🫡👍👍👍
the setting up bit just annoyed me, having to skip it and stuff. please correct, "setting up" is not the same as "plugging in"
The idea of the connecting up part was to show how much faff it was set up before building the pedal board. I play at a lot of open mics and need a fast setup time.
I left time stamps so any one can skip to the build or the demo.
