I know this isn’t gonna be the same as 2018 as it never will be due to skill increase. But this is the closest we’ll ever get and I can’t wait to experience and relive it all! At least us Chapter 1 players will know the POIs better than the newer players, how better to rotate, chest locations, etc. I will be amusing if they take away swimming because the OG map only hade waist deep water, with the surrounding ocean being a death zone. Also I setup my old Blue Squire preset. It used to be called the "Noob Knight" early on in Chapter 1 for being a tier 1 Battle Pass skin, but that was years ago lol

I cant believe this is happening This game was how i found many of my friends, it gave me happines throughout the years, on the good times and in the bad times, this was the place i would come no matter what. Im so happy epic games decided to bring back our favorite map, we will explore it together for the last time, and may it never be forgotten 😢.
I hope that epic makes this come back yearly, to where they can also alternate between ch1 one year & the ch2 map the next and keep swapping, so that the hype doesn’t go down for either maps. I think it’s a great opportunity for epic to make a quick buck especially if they keep it 1 month long each time, and will make the game feel fresh and nostalgic

ty fortnite for bringing it back, even if it was for a month, I played with some of my old friends that I havent talked to in years and it made me feel like a younger kid again, I felt the magic from when i first dropped into the island picking up a tac shotty for the first time, and re-visiting the mountain where my old friend taught me how to triple ramp rush years ago, ty fortnite OG, you will be one of my favorite seasons of all time

Went into this season worried it would be another bloated season with just the old map being back but no. You guys actually brought back normal quests, normal item shop, simple battle pass with great free rewards and a simpler time, so after years and years I can say bravo Epic!👍

I got to say… this is my favourite season in a long time

that they've shown the meteor and dusty divot in the same frame is actually huge. this means that we will definetly see a twist during the chapter 4 end event since this shows that dusty depot and the factories aren't returning during the season x part
We also see the baller yet no volcano
Dusty depot is one of the only places i remember from 2018

This game was how i found many of my friends, it gave me happines throughout the years, on the good times and in the bad times, this was the place i would come no matter what.
Im so happy epic games decided to bring back our favorite map, we will explore it together for the last time, and may it never be forgotten 😢.

I hope that epic makes this come back yearly, to where they can also alternate between ch1 one year & the ch2 map the next and keep swapping, so that the hype doesn’t go down for either maps. I think it’s a great opportunity for epic to make a quick buck especially if they keep it 1 month long each time, and will make the game feel fresh and nostalgic
