Hi, can Canadian certified PAs work in America? If not can they take the exam in America or complete PA school in America all over again?

Hi! No Canadian PAs cannot work in the US. Even if you complete a PA program in the US, at time of writing, you have to repeat PA school at an American PA program accredited by ARC-PA, before you can challenge the PANCE exam to obtain your pANCE exam.

Hi, i am in Hamilton Ontario and want to become a pa. I know I need 2 years in university with anything majored. Then after I would apply to McMasters pa program and pass an a exam to become certified. Is this the right process?

Hi Muhammad! If you are an American PA-C, you can practice in Canada: Right now, Canada only accepts American Certified Physician Assistants (PA-C’s) who have trained in the United States to work in Canada.
If you are a PA from another country (e.g. United Kingdom, New Zealand, Ghana, India), you would have to complete a PA education program in American or Canada to work as a PA in Canada. International PAs who are not American PA-Cs cannot currently practice in Canada.
