This song makes my brain tingle. The lyricism is remarkable.
I think the end really hits me hard depending on where I am in life…when I open up and try to love again. It doesn’t always apply to loving someone else sometimes I need to take time to love myself again and it takes time. It’s why I love the added “soon” to it all. I’m not ready yet but I will soon, just knowing there’s hope is enough sometimes

Will never forget when my sister first played me this song in her room after me venting to her about a heartbreak and the social teen angst that follows. This song really saved my life when I needed to know there was somebody else out there who not only felt what I was feeling but could articulate it better than I ever could.

This is the one song that ALWAYS makes me cry, no matter when and no matter what I’m going through. I don’t think I’ll ever be desensitized to it. I haven’t been through all of what she talks about and I’m happy in my relationship, but I have had times in my life where these lyrics hit so close to home. I have a bunch to do right now, but instead I’m crying about this song.
