- Easter, the Sunday of the Resurrection, Pascha, or Resurrection Day, is the most important religious feast of the Christian liturgical year, observed at some point between late March and late April each year (early April to early May in Eastern Christianity), following the cycle of the moon. It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, which Christians believe occurred on the third day of his death by crucifixion some time in the period AD 27 to 33. Easter also refers to the season of the church year, called Eastertide or the Easter Season. Traditionally the Easter Season lasted for the forty days from Easter Day until Ascension Day but now officially lasts for the fifty days until Pentecost. The first week of the Easter Season is known as Easter Week or the Octave of Easter.

The jesus of Islam is the same? I don't know what you mean, He was born from a virgin woman, he was the messiah, he spoke in the cradle, he healed those born bind and the lepers, he came to uphold the torah, etc. Every other detail of Jesus (peace upon him) was written by people who never saw him, or things that didn't out of his mouth. Muslims might say incorrect things of jesus out of ignorance, but I don't see the real difference, besides crucifixion. As far as the scriptures are concerned

Muslims don't try to mask anything. We have our accounts of jesus. He brought the same message which is labeled as Islam " submission" but it sounds silly to say it as if it was the name of a new religion brought by muhammad. Jesus will confirm Islam, but it is the message he brought, Jesus never came and said " I am bringing christianity" The believers in the pure message of jesus are believers (muslims), we say that message went awry, hence the last prophet snt as confrmtion whichjesusforetold

how could jesus (peace be upon him) could be the son of christ? thats what you just said in this comment... he is the son of mary and thats period he had no father who had a sexual intercourse with mary... god made mary pregnant, jesus never said that he was god.. he always said worship god, the creator of all things... jesus never created the earth, the skys, planets, etc etc... so how you could say that he is god?... for us muslims it is a must to believe in jesus but only as the son of mary

islam is not Muhammeds religion only , its also the religion of Jesus & moses & ibrahim & all prophets, its the same message of God , which is to believe in God & worship him alone. Nor Judaism nor Christianity are named in the bible , but Islam is named by Allah in the holy Quran as the name of the right monotheistic faith in God.
