Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself. - Zábava

not to mention: hating a figure for just the attire based on a concept art isn't a good reason, specially after Phoenix, it made sense for Sandman cause that color scheme looked like dirt, but that wasn't the main reason he sucked

#6 is SO subjective it's painful. Cap HAS worn that costume in the comics before, and just because it's an alt costume does NOT make it a bad figure.

Patrick Trujillo you have to understand though it is a review so its supposed to be subjective. Its his opinion and while you like the figure, he didn't. For example he just did a preview of the new Hot Toys Vol 2 Star-Lord and he actually mentioned that he wasn't too thrilled with how it looks. However I think it looks amazing. Reviews are always subjective because they are the reviewer's opinion.

Couldn't disagree more about the Captain America segment. I LOVE seeing things like that, for example the Ralph McQuarrie Star Wars figures. This was an awesome looking version of Cap and he looks great next to other characters.
Secret War Cap is NOT concept art. It was featured momentarily in the title Secret War (2004)....it is still not a noteworthy costume and was only briefly seen in flash back sequences where Cap was a part of a group of heroes gathered by Nick Fury to Infiltrate Latveria within the comics 5 issue run.

SDCC Sandman should have been #1, what the hell was HasBlow thinking, wish someone would call them out on they're total failure with that one

It's pretty silly that Hasbro gave regular arms to the sandy version of Sandman and NOT the regular version. Like how does that even make any sense?
Someone at Hasbro was "how do we piss off the collectors" and got that idea
They didn't even try to make it unique by, say, using sandpaper or something like that on the mold to give it a sand-like bumpy texture. They just slapped on brown and tan paint and called it a day.
I'm taking you didn't buy any more DC Multiverse figs because those were the worst figures of the year.

I was done with the Multiverse figures after I saw them on the shelves for the first time. They just look horrible in box.. I can't imagine in hand...

I usually don't take joy in a line being terrible(it's like movies. Who wants a terrible one?), but since the 6 inch Multiverse line killed off a 3 3/4 inch line filled with untapped potential, I'm kinda happy that the current line is so looked down upon.
Some ideas I have for figures that HasBlow could've made instead of concept art Secret Wars Cap:
-The current Captain America costume
-Civil War Vision
-Golden Age Captain America
-First Appearance Cap
I took that Sandman figure and spray painted the whole thing with that textured sand paint, that they sell at hardware stores (for doing sandstone effects on pottery and other household crafts projects.) It looks pretty cool now.
The Sandman figure featured here could be used as a sort of accessory for a "Spidey-Sandman" fight. Recently, Sandman is shown to create copies of himself, so maybe you have Flint Marko stage a Sub-Zero-style fakeout on Web-Head. Just a thought.

For the Animal figure's drum set, can't you glue the pices to a base so the won't fall over?

as a solution to your diamond select animal problem I think you can put the drum set in an oven to melt the plastic on the bottom and make it weigh more on the bottom, although I would only as a last resort, I know it works with dice.

I use a little mounting putty on the base of the drum pieces to make them stand for the Animal figure & the problem is fixed. My only problem with it was the frozen elbow joint & the loose hips.

that Cap figure isn't a concept, it was in Secret War, Nick Fury put a small team together of Cap, Spider-Man, Luke Cage , black widow and Daredevil for a secret mission

I understand why cap was on there, from what he said but I personally love that look. Sandman I like too I think if I get the BAF sandman u can put the 2 together and make it look like he is faded to sand form, u can get creative if u have both figs.

As an artist, I actually think they should do MORE concept art figures. It's absolutely one of the most unique Cap figures we've gotten. If they made for ML's like that, I'd actually buy more.
Why not try making a thin stand with metal then the magnets on the bottom of the drums

Figma Hulk does that as an engeneering feature, the logic behind it is the same behind the revoltech joint, it's better for it to come apart, than for it to break, I honestly prefer this than getting a figure that breaks do to stiff joints, or it's weight.

Another thing wrong with the DC Multiverse Flash figure is that his pants have a lighter color than his shirt/mask

In the case of Figma Hulk, you could use floor polish to tighten those pegs to help them stay on better.
I think you can fix the Hulk figure by titening the joints with some floor polish or anything like that!
Phoenix would have been my worst purchase this year, but I went & swapped the Toybiz head on her (slight mod required), now she doesn't look too shabby. So I guess I'll take the good with the bad

I've got that Phoenix and had the same complaints. But then I got the Dark Phoenix/Cyclops two-pack and put one of the extra heads on the Phoenix figure. It made it so much better. I actually don't mind displaying her now.
I admit, Wonder Woman is on sale at every retailer and Phoenix is on clearance at GameStop already.
I am done with Hasbro's Dc Multiverse!! The detail sucks, the articulation sucks and all they do is repaints!! Im so glad i switch to dc collectibles

Add a really thin layer of superglue to the limb peg things on hulk, let it dry, and they'll peg in really snug without being permanently stuck forever. Ta-daaa

Those McFarlane ColorTop statues have "collectible ACTION figures" printed on the box, so they probably all deserve a spot on the list.
The fact that there's no ankle rocker pivot on DC multiverse figures is already enough for me to avoid that line.

The abomination wave captain America should've had a punisher logo instead of a star on his chest and then he would've been perfect for a marvel vs capcom display because that is one of the alternate skins(and one of the best) for him in the game.

for the animal figure you should just make base stand and glue down the drum set. honestly drum set's don't really move so gluing down isn't a huge sacrifice. then you position animal any way you like. thats just i would do.
