Double kick and guitar solo in one song is a special treat!
Oh, that drummer back there, she ads WAY more than oohs and ahhs, she sings lead on multiple tracks without giving up any intensity on the skins. Pau is a force of nature talent. Subscribed!

Speaking of the drummer, Pau (Pow), singing, check out Dust to Dust and 23 from the same concert. There is a lot of variety in this concert. You could stick with this and enjoy 19 more songs. The Teatro Metropolitan concert is so well produced that it is a joy watching any of the videos. Also, they played Evolve at the 2023 VMA's and just released a music video for their new song, S!CK.

You nailed it on a few levels:
    1. This song is a sinister, menacing bit of dark brilliance (written by teenagers BTW)
    2. That drummer… she sings… her tone…
    3. There’s something about this band.
What you’re experiencing right now is all too familiar to TWA. This band is mesmerizing and I can’t even tell you exactly why. Their story is fascinating, they work tirelessly, they are completely approachable funny & humble, they know and care about their fans and their energy on stage is magnetic. Enjoy the fall - totally worth it!

This song is the title track of their second album Queen of the Murder Scene (QOTMS). That album is a concept album about a character and we follow her journey of her unrequited love from hope to madness to the bitter end. That Album is best listening to in its full song by song from Lunario CDMX Live 2018, great sound. Start with Dust to Dust there were we are at the funeral for the character and asked to join the journey what led to this. Another way to get to know this band is to listening to this concert at Teatro Metropolitan song by song starting from the first song Z, you'll find the entire concert on their CZcams site, like this one, and just dig into 22 top songs one by one.

This is another masterpiece of the incredible concept album of the same name "Queen Of The Murder Scene", a masterfully crafted work of art filled with emotion and extraordinary sensations by Dany, Pau and Ale with the characteristic professionalism carried out in all their projects.
Each of the songs in this conceptual masterpiece are an example of the great level of quality in which these 3 genius artists perform
Daniela, Paulina y Alejandra have a formidable innate talent, each one of them.
Innate but with practice taken to the sublime.
Despite their youth, they already have a lot of experience along the way in addition to their great preparation since they were little girls.
Their attitude, discipline and willingness to achieve their goals are leading them to great and well-deserved achievements.
Dany, Pau & Ale are still on the path to the top, but with too much potential, enough to think that reaching it will be inevitable.
Furthermore, the volume of quality that each of their creations implies is great… and the number of songs that carry said quality is enormous, which for me could be “The Warning label.”
I’m sure that each of their creations is subjected to a meticulous quality process before finally seeing the light…
And not only in the technical aspect, but they have also already shown that they have an exquisite taste for the good music that emanates from them when they become inspired and creative.
Added to all this is that they are surrounded by an excellent family and a fraternal team totally committed to their project...
And they have a fan base, “The Warning Army”, tremendously loyal to them (and exponentially growing too) that is decisively involved in supporting them because they have deservedly earned it for being incredible and surprising human beings.
Knowing this will give you a much better perspective to better value DPA, and maybe you will understand that TW is not just a band of talented young women who make good songs...
No, it’s about music, really about art with the brilliance of a "masterpiece" created and performed by three genius female performers from an early age who have been developing and evolving by leaps and bounds.
The beauty of their art lies in its simplicity.
Allways everybody have to appreciate each of these amazing rock masterpieces in all their dimensions and then be surprised again that they are creations of those who have wonderful talent but who, due to their age, still have much more talent to develop.
DPA are already admirable but their potential increases exponentially as they achieve success.
As long as all this continues to flow with this equation, soon they will reach the top of the world where they deserve to be.
I hope to see many reactions from you to TW my favorite band of all time.
Thanks and regards from México!! 🇲🇽
    🤘😁✌️

Oh just two songs in! Jump in the fire my friend! There is sooooo much more for you to experience! The Warning are as follows. Daniella aka Dany on lead and lead vocals. Alejandra aka Ale (pronounced Alay) on the Spector bass. And last but most certainly not least... Weighing in at a buck 10 soaking wet and standing 4ft 11 is Paulina aka Pau (pronounced POW) on the drums.

I suggest watching the Teatro Metropolitan full concert. Most of the requests and suggestions are from this concert anyways. If you watch the full concert you get to see a short behind the scenes content. They just played ShipRocked this last week. They will play Wacken 2024 later this summer.

I'm with you and wish I'd found them a lot sooner. I first heard them listening to their MTV VMA performance of Evolve last September and I've been obsessed ever since. I don't have enough time to get through everything out there by them and about them. Pau (the drummer) is known for hitting her kit hard. Her nickname is Pow and she beats her drum kit like it owes her money. If you want to see more of her singing, try 23 or Dust to Dust from the same concert. She sings lead on both. Keep on rocking, you've been warned!!

Most of the good stuff already mentioned in other comments. Half of the allure of this band is their backstory, starting with their cover of Enter Sandman in 2014 when bass player Ale was 9 and had only been playing bass for about a year and a half. The covers they did were incredible. Their first three albums were also incredible--getting better each one. Now, their fourth album is coming out soon.

Watch their concert Lunario 2018 of their performance of their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene QOTMS it will blow your mind.
At that time they were teenagers and allready accomplished musicians.
You can do the individual songs but its best to do the whole concert due to it being a story.

QOTMS is the title song and name of a concept album written by pre-/mid-teens. An amazing story that enfolds in 4 chapters. The Warning played 5 songs from this album at Teatro Metropolitan. Dust to Dust, Ugh, Queen Of The Murder Scene, Dull Knives (cut better) and Hunter. Subscribed!

Other songs? Try "Evolve" played live at the MTV Music Video Awards, any song from the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX performance, or the new track they released just over a week ago ... "S!CK" should keep you going for a while. They are better live, they just have this energy that's infectious, and when properly recorded, they are so tight musically. Enjoy the trip!

Prepare to blown away after hearing everything they do. Now that you found The Warning, there is no way to 'un-find' them. You could do a reaction to Dull Knives Cut Deeper, Animosity, and Evolve from the MTV VMA awards would be an experience you won't forget. Seriously. As perfect of a live performance as I've seen. They nailed it in one take. And ka-freaking-boom! Blew the roof right off the building⚡⚡⚡

    Hey Wayne.
Title track to the 2nd album. 18, 16, and 13 at time of release in 2018. A little closer to what you usually listen to, in that it is a concept album, this is the 10th of 13 songs, an intro and 4 sections of 3 songs. The word Pau (drummer) sings in the pre chorus, is Korosu, a Japanese word that roughly translates to kill.
Ale's bass is usually the part I'm drawn to, but I really like Dany's main guitar riff here.
If you are interested in the story of the album, the record was played in it's entirety at Lunario CDMX 2018.
Check out the 2 songs they performed at the 2023 mtv video awards: "Evolve" and "More". "Sick" was just released last week with a music video. (only live so far are fan cams)

*Queen of the Murder Scene* (aka QOTMS) is the title song of their 2nd album... a concept album written when Dany (guitar) and Pau (drums) were barely teenagers!
the album tells the foreboding dark story of unrequited love and the Queen through her battles between good and evil over her soul...
the full story of the concept album is best experienced in order from *Dust to Dust* all the way to *The End (Stars Always Seem To Fade)* ...
this title song of the album depicts the evil side of the Queen flaunting its immortality and some might also say its immorality...
you don't really want to understand
what its like to have blood on your hands.
    you don't deserve it,
    the crown is mine!

This is the title track of their concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene". They have 3 albums and 1 EP. The previous song you reacted to is from their latest album "Error". If you wanna listen to more of them I'd say stick to this Metropolitan concert. They played almost the entire "Error" album with some songs from QOTMS and "XXI Century Blood" (their 1st album) sprinkled in.

Dany can shred on the guitar. But...only when the song needs her to shred. They don't showboat. Everything is about the music, and the fans. You won't find a group of rockstars currently who love their fans like this band. Tip of the iceberg, my friend. React to Dust To Dust, for Pau singing lead!

    • @mjc1389
      @mjc1389 Před 7 měsíci +1

Yes, while other bands have a guitarist as their lead vocalist those bands usually also have a separate lead guitarist.
Dany really can’t play overly complex lead parts as her vocal duties kinda take precedence and playing lead in a 3 piece it’s somewhat hard to keep a full sound cause the bass can only cover so much rhythm.
