I was fortunate enough to see Jean luc Ponty at the Greek Theater in Los Angles in the late 70's. One of a handful of concerts that really stuck with me throughout the year's.... So glad to see he is still performing at a high level. A true maestro.
Cosmic Messenger tour with Ralphe Armstrong on bass and I believe Alan Holdsworth opened for him at one of those shows, Great concert!
Maestro absolute. A premium acoustic wizard of this time!

No it’s a completely different band.
I had a vast collection of Ponty albums, you simply get lost in the music...drop bread crumbs as you wonder.
