    can you install Pheonix shocks on your Blue rx. I also have a stock rx and wish to install phoenix shocks but I am not comfortable with installing fork risers and welding of main and side stand. So just want to understand what difference phoenix shocks would make to my bike and whether I should use them or not.
    Thank you

    If you change the swing arm (pulsar)and use the 18 inch stock rim it will compensate the height. As the shockabsorber fits in an angle.

    Hi Hassan. Which shock absorbers would you suggest for Hero Honda CD 100. I have the stock ones installed (They are made by Gabriel), but they are very hard and dont absorb impact on roads much. I would love to hear your suggestions. Thanks!
    Edit : The Stock CD 100 shock absorbers are longer than the Platina one's. I have the Platinas on my RX 100.

    This is a brilliant video. I have the Platina shocks on my 5 speed, and was thinking of changing them, and I like the TVS Phoenix shocks, but I think if I switch to a slightly longer box section swingarm, the mounting points will go back and the height would not rise that much. Also, I will be fitting a custom single seat, so pillion or stock tail or mudguard will not be problem. But I need to retain the 18" stock rims. What's your opinion about this? Thank you and please keep making great content

      3-00-18. Your center stand might need to be fixed. Is it going very far forward than usual? If its perfect then you dont neeed to weld it. After years of use the center stand worns out from the top. Make a stopper on the chassis.

    • @motosoul
      @motosoul  Před 3 lety +1

      Joswin, I haven't done it myself but I do not trust the welding which needs to be done at the chassis to fit monoshock. I'm not sure if it is safe to fit a monoshock. But the ride quality can only be experienced once you installed it. Stock is the best actually.

      Jauban,
      Changing the rear tyre increases the initial power and decreases the top end but not by much. Most of the people switch to jawa/yezdi tyre for the lowering the rear and having better initial performance. Though it doesn't damage the engine.

    Can we use the tvs shocks on the rx 135 without changing to the 16 inch rims?

    • @motosoul
      @motosoul  Před 3 lety

      You can but it will increase the rear height quite alot

      @@motosoul can't we increase the front shocks to accommodate that

    • @motosoul
      @motosoul  Před 3 lety

      You can do that. I did that too. But it ruined alot of things for me.

      @@motosoul oh okay. I want to give my bike for fitness test so wouldn't that be a problem if my rear wheel is 16 inch

      Shouldn't be a problem. But it also depends on the rto.
