I've listened to a few songs from that. Dino Cazeres was actually at my friend's birthday party in Hollywood last Saturday, but I didn't have a ride there - I was bummed.

@@vikingguitar I haven’t listened to the whole thing yet but I’m not super impressed with what I have heard so far. Burton sounds great but the rest of the band just isn’t really doing it for me that much. I really do think Mechanize was their peak…
Ironically Mike said Mechanize is the easiest stuff for him to play and that the drums are more complicated in FF ever since. Mechanize was a lot of straightforward drumming as opposed to trickier patterns in the more recent albums.

Great job everyone! Is this not one of most epic metal songs ever! The changes , rhe riffs,the beats! It has so many parts that give ya the stankface! The cover and the song is amazing. Im a guitar guy but man that drum on the outro; i always thought how crazy it is but has such a good sound to it. Hell yeah!
I was 14 years old, living in Greece listening to Sepultura, excited by everything from the music to the artwork, a life changing experience for me. Arise was the first album I purchased. I'm now 39 and I still remember the lyrics by heart, haven't read them since then. I must confess I didn't like the fact that Fernanda (whom I respect) had to read the lyrics to pay tribute to the greatest Brazilian metal band. Apart from this "detail" the cover was more than ok imho.
Reading the lyrics off a phone looks like there were 0 shits given.
Been going through a music renaissance of late (I'm a few years older than you), and Sepultura/Arise has been copping a good flogging. Subtraction is all kinds of awesome!!
