- I wanted to teach you all how to read a birth chart, assuming that YOU ALL have a copy of your chart - if you do, you will know what a birth chart looks like. But the point of these 3 part videos is to provide you with some tips and advice on HOW to read your chart, by being able to locate where everything is placed successfully.
Now if you don't have a copy, and you're NEW here - firstly, WELCOME! Nice to have you here - and secondly, there are some birth chart calculator/generator links below that you can click on in order to grab a copy with ease - they are GREAT sites, trust me!
Like I said, there will be/are 3 videos - and in this video, we are going over the VERY BASICS when it comes to reading your chart or interpreting placements.
We touch base on PLANETS, SIGNS, HOUSES, SYMBOLS/GLYPHS, ELEMENTS & MODES - and we also look at HOW the planets & signs blend together when in a particular house.

I disagree. Before high school I knew nothing about religion because my family isn't religious and I was never taught anything about it. However, in high school most schools do teach you a bit about different religions. I think if they're teaching religion, they should teach spirituality, too. Spirituality is just another type of religion in my eyes. Schools don't teach enough and what they do teach is pointless. Ask any 16 year old how to write out a check and and they wouldn't have a clue. It's sad really.

When reading a birth chart I feel like that meme with Charlie from Its Always Sunny waving his arms around and looking insane in front of a wall of papers.
So itâs kinda like âwho(planet)â is âdoing(sign)â âwhat/where(house)â.

Youâre interpretation of viewing it as actors on a stage with a director was perfect for me!!!! I know the basics (signs planets and houses) but your view made it easier for me to see the story so to speak
best explanation I have seen on youtube in my 2 years of research, cant imagine how well my comprehension would be as a novice/beginner...Honestly the break down was on point for people that are past the beginning stages of astrology
Initially, I learned basic astrology myself but after subscribing to you(now a long time ago) I'm definitely on a next level.

I have mastered the basics, but still cannot understand how to combine planet energies or understanding how aspects really work (which when I try to, I want to pull my hair out causing premature baldness) , but im learning damn it!. This has helped me out so much, I have been looking to do this for awhile now can study more easily. I now finally understand the difference between when a planet is in exaltation or fall, that has been confusing me for awhile. Oh and Aries with Gemini Moon in 2nd house!

Hannah you are WHY geminis should never be overrated. Some sun signed rules folks would never be able to fit all of this in a video. I'm a Cap sun (conjunct moon in the 10th, Pisces Asc w Aries intercept ugh) so Gem does double duty for me. I consider this video extremely USEFUL (from the bottom of my Neptune 9th heart).

Thank you for making this video. Tbh I don't feel like its the best for beginner beginners but good for people who knows the basics down but is having trouble reading the chart still and other things about the chart. For me ive been research stuff about zodiac signs for awhile and I know the badics down decently and this helped me piece this together more and understand how to read the birth chart a lot better. Thank you Hannah. I'm a gay man and been studying astrology for over 15 years and never found online, nor books to explain how it merges together. As a Cancer sun with a Gemini moon in the 11th house, you totally helped me understand how and why my Gemini moon I feel more so of that then the Cancer sun at times. Also how my emotions switch all the time and why my mind is always on go mode and why I quickly get bored with most things within mins or secs. Thanks again!

I've been listening to astrology and doing some self learning, but this really helps for basics. There is a lot to learn about astrology, and North and South Nodes do matter, but maybe later. But good job in suggesting on how to organize yourself.

Hey Hannah, I love your videos, and I notice how the way you speak attracts me. Actually if you donât know Astraea rules Virgo, and Libra. Originally Astraea is the goddess of innocence, and purity. From her myth she ran away from humans wickedness, and flew away to the heavens, as she became the Virgo constellation.
As I further read more about Astraea, she is noted to be related with the Libra constellation. Because the Virgo constellation is next to the Libra constellation.
Astraea is stated to also be goddess of justice for the zodiac sign Libra. Actually no one mentions this name in astrology. Yet, Dike is the goddess of Justice, scales, and law. Her parents are Zeus and Themis the Titan goddess of good order and law.
These are not Astraeaâs parents, but Dikeâs parents. Her parents are Eos (Roman for Aurora) while Eos is a Greek name. Sheâs the goddess of dawn, while her dad Astraeus is the god of art of astrology, stars, and planets. Since the Stars are related with the world of the dead, heavens, hell Astraea is associated with the Star constellation of Virgo the virgin. Because Virgo is Latin for the virgin, and the translation of Virgo reminds me of the Mary the mother of Jesus Christ.
