Her telenovelas have aged like milk though. They are so cheesy, predictable, and cringe that you must watch it for that very reason other than nostalgia.
No she's not lol, they have titled as the queen of telenovelas because of a very succesful trilogy of soap operas she did, at that time she was already a succesful recording artist, that's why hers had more impact other than that she can't really act for her life, she's better as an artist, there are way more better actresses in México that have over 3 and even 5 decades doing soap operas with much better level of skill, versatility, and more iconic roles and plots/stories, she did participated in several others but they were overwhelming and pretty much she played the same character she always does.

Are you freaking kidding me?! 😍 🤗 It's Thalia! I'm 38 and I grew up watching her telenovelas. I was 10 years old when she came into my life. Marimar and Maria La Del Barrio were my favorite telenovelas at the time. But because I was so little, I never got to see Quinceañera. Then, some time in high school I was into different kinds of music. Discovering Rock en Español on the radio. That's how I got into Timbiriche.
That was the group she was a part of when she was young. They sang rock, pop and some traditional kid songs. "Amame Hasta Con Los Dientes" is my jam. I miss this kind of pop rock sound. I was overjoyed when her and her former group reunited and did a short concert for the fans who had been hoping for one day to see Timbiriche get back together again. It was magical and brought tears to my eyes. Childhood legends they are.
Personality wise, she reminds me of Taylor Swift. Always beaming with joy and exuding happiness everywhere she goes. Thalia is always this welcoming, loving and charming towards others. She's always kind and respectful as well. She loves her fans, her people, her country. She is an ICON.

I've known Thalia for decades because she became HUGE first in the Philippines before America even knew about her and yes she didn't know a word of english back then. She would always have a translator whenever she would visit the Philippines. She still looks gorgeous!!

The DC Movie “ Blue Beetle” kept making references to her in the iconic role “Maria la del Barrio”. She plays a character where she’s is poor yet manages to get a rich guy fall in love with her , but in the DC Movie Blue Beetle the Gender is reversed. The main character Jaime who is the poor Male manages to get the Rich girl. Her show was massively big in the Mid to Late 90’s and early 2000’s. 💙💙💙
