I ordered the Watch 7 44mm. I run, have the NYC Marathon coming up in November, and work out at least 3 times per week, but I like a watch that fits in as nicely in the gym as it does in the boardroom. The Ultra looks a little too "Crocodile Dundee- ish," for my taste.
You broke this down so well for me! I was hooked on getting the Ultra because well, it just seemed better. But seeing how they are so similar, Im getting the 7 now!
This is what I do….i keep and use previous watch and latest watch with both sharing my S24 Ultra phone. So I am getting credit of $350.00 for my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro as I purchase the Watch 7 Ultra. And will continue using my Watch Classic 6 until next year (when I will trade that one in for the next new watch) with my new 7 Ultra.
I use two watches like this because I will always have a fully charged watch available to me especially on busy days. The 7 Ultra is used mostly daytime. 6 Classic nighttime.
I use two eSims on my Ultra S24. So both watches utilize (or share) both eSIMs on my S24 Ultra. Everything works seamlessly. With my Book 3 Ultra and Tablet. So I appreciate the Galaxy ecosystem very much

Yeah I'm really pissed off about that.
I literally waited months for a 7 Classic because the Classic looks like a watch, unlike the silly bulky squircle Ultra, and the rotating bezel is so clever.

The Ultra looks good. But if the functionality and features of the software are identical and I could do exactly the same thing on both watches, then purely on functionality it makes sense to go for the regular 7. Hiking, desert exploring, safari expeditions etc are for the minority of people and the regular watch can still do that so... its down to marketing.
Watch 7 Bluetooth is the one I'll be getting. Will be trading in a Watch 3 so I'm way overdue😅

Ordered watch 7 ,44 mm LTE version, but have to wait as delivery starts on the 26th so almost 2 weeks of time

An LTE is still bluetooth in fact so not really an issue
would love to preorder the 44mm watch 7 but their preorder bonus watch band is out of stock. waiting on that to either come back in stock or for them to over something else or else I'll just wait till next year. out of stock on a advertised pre order promo in 2 days is poor planning if they outright said, first 10,000 preorders get the free strap I'd be more at peace

Sensor is same on Ultra and 7, software is also same
If i switch for the new galaxy watch, i will do the same that I did with de watch 6. Buy to galaxy watch 7 44mm. Use the first for a full 24h tracking. In the morning, put it on charge, take the second one and do the same. So I have 365 days a years of battery life. That's what i’m doing right now.

Since there's no physical rotating bezel for Ultre they should have adapt the same shape of frame which is squircle 🤔
Then they'd have to rework the UI and apps to fit.

You mean to tell me Samsung couldn't make the watch 7 44mm with a 475mah battery. These people are playing games. That new HR sensor is going to eat that 425mah battery.

Anyway I'm trading my watch six and I'm getting a good deal so I'm only going to be paying $249 for the Ultra and that's a big deal let me tell you from 650 to 249 That's a huge huge deal anyway great video I just ordered the Galaxy buds 3 pro and I got a good deal I'm only paying $115 for them with trade-ins and the $50 bonus so that's pretty good and my wife traded hers and she's only paying $100 for her Galaxy buds 3 pro anyway take care great video😅😅😅😅😅

I am going to buy the regular Watch 7. The ultra is just to ugly. I wish it was a titanium or steel option for the regular 7. I am not a big fan of aluminum.

Totally agree. As a designer myself I really don't think the squircle works. Obviously peeps have different opinions but the real crime here is the omission of a Classic version with the rotating bezel (a brilliant feature in itself).
@ThePhoneFuel in the same Square body they could have gave a bigger square face too or made the bezel functional or at least the crown rotates
Gave a circular visible bezel on a literal square watch and then don't let it work
@@lolly_breadnot really, there's still the 5/6 series to buy from. It's madness releasing too many versions each year, better to alternate a little. I'm only just now upgrading from the original galaxy, and would like to think this will last me a few years also. Just no need to buy every year.
