A player who defends, is pacy, scores with his head, scores with his right and left foot, uses his stenght well, plays as a striker sometimes. He is just exceptional

I thought the slogan for Liverpool was 'You'll never walk alone'? Football teams make an effort in getting players who are not as good as they used to be back to how they were or better.

Mane is Liverpool's talisman or canary in the mine. When he is on form Liverpool are another level. As Carragher said he was Klopp's biggest signing because he was the player that made Liverpool a contender again.

People forget Mane was our star POTY and carried us when we didn't have Salah or vvd. That first season where he got us to CL by a point over arsenal, was crucial in getting Mo and vvd to Liverpool cause they only wanted CL football. Mo would have stayed in Roma another season. Mane is the key to Klopp's reign.

I think instead of chant, we need a new song for him. Diogo & Thiago has song too even as a new player. Mane arguably is the most influential player in klopp era since he is our first star signing. He really deserve a catchy song too.

Really sad to see him leave. Great player who leaves it all on the pitch. Scores goals, creates chances and will get back to defend. A real hardworking player and an overall good person, down to earth, doesn't care for money or flashy things and does alot for charity and his country. Mane has been an absolute joy to watch from the moment he put on the famous Liverpool kit. From his first spectacular goal against Arsenal, he turned our club around almost singlehandedly dragging us to champions League football in his first year. Another thing you learn from watching all his goals together is how diverse they are. His heading ability is extremely underrated and his weak foot is brilliant.

People seem to under appreciate Mane's physical presence and his defensive capabilities. Although Luiz Diaz has many positive qualities, he does not possess the physical presence that Mane does. Having gotten off to a terrible start to 2023 with a 3-1 loss against Brentford, I truly miss this man and his goals at crucial moments. Without him, Liverpool's attack is not as cohesive as it used to be.
