- Welcome to our channel! We are so happy to have you join us. This week we will be sharing our June stats, some finishes including Honey Faire by October Fiber House and an adorable pillow by Faithwurks Designs. We had new starts for Fourth of July, American Sampler by Primrose Cottage. We are also stitching for Jolly July. Currently we are both working on Patridge and Pear by Satsuma Street. We have made progress on our WIPs, including In praise of Pollinators by The Blue Flower and Take Me Out to the Ball Game by Little House Needleworks. We got some haul at the Silver Needle too! So great to turn CZcams on and see you two sweet ladies had a new post up! Always a joy to see you both! Enjoy your vacation on the lake! I loved all your projects and finishes! I shop on line at The Silver Needle. Such a great shop, love their Secret Needle Night kits and Circle of Fiends Club. I hope your sweet kitties do well in their recovery. I do a lot of quilting, working on about 6 quilts right now. My cross stitch is slow, I have trouble with my eyes with small count fabrics so I stick with large counts in my older years. Amazing that you made your project bags by hand. My grandmother made my First Communion dress by hand in the 50’s. I wish my mother had kept it! As always I love seeing a new post from you two, I also enjoy your Facebook group and love that Santa chart! Enjoy the rest of your vacation!

@@suncitystitchers7793Thank you for your reply. Yes, on their website you can look for The secret needle night monthly kits in their shopping section. If you live in their area you can attend the shop that evening to get you kit and have a stitch time with friends. Otherwise they will mail it to you. Their kits include fabric, all different types of specialty threads from all over the world, special made buttons and beads, needles. Always a variety of different fabrics. Often large count which I love. If you can’t find on their website just call them. They are so helpful! Good luck!

Happy Birthday (belated) to the two of you! How wonderful to have sister time at such a summery, relaxing place! I stitch several Christmas projects throughout the year on rotation during the month as SALs with my mother via Facetime (so we are doing Jolly July by default); we are doing the 12 Days of Stockings (Annie Beez), the 12 Days of Christmas (Vivster), the 12 Days of Santas (Prairie Schooler), and an advent calendar piece from Etsy that has a nutcracker ballet them called Advent Calendar Nutcracker by Wombat Stitching; my mother is stitching hers as a sampler as charted and I am stitching mine on perforated plastic as ornaments (my first time trying the plastic vs the paper). We are also stitching one of the charts each month from the 2024 Nashville Cookbook; we just completed the Shepherd's Bush patriotic sampler. Enjoy your summer retreat and happy stitching!

Just found your channel and enjoyed seeing all your stitching. Beautiful backdrop on the lake. I lived in El Paso for a time in 1966 as my dad was at Fort Bliss for schooling. I also do quilting and wool appliqué. Happy stitching!

Your lake house is probably a serene place to get a lot of stitching done. How wonderful that you sisters have been able to keep it to share. It also sounds like it's in a spectacular location for visiting attractions, stores, and restaurants. Enjoy your time there. I hope that Charlie is able to medicate and clean Minnie's ears so that he doesn't have to keep taking her in. And poor Mickey, if has allergies, I can't imagine how uncomfortable he must be to cause him to pull his hair out. Carlene, I FFOd my Honey Faire! Yours looks great! My caramel corn was too brown to use for the flower, also, so I just used one of the yellows. You all have so many amazing projects and progress that I don't want to write paragraphs, but I look forward to your videos.
