I am so glad I found your video!! I have never used these water gems before but was doing a little project and found these on sale at the store. I watched a few videos before I reached yours and the only talked about how much of the water gems to use . That's really not the info I was looking for because there is directions on the bag. I wanted to know how I can use them... You showed me just that. Step by step and I thank you!! I am definitely gonna check out more of your videos!! Thanks a bunch!!

@@carolhart8696 the candy canes would melt. However in one of my Christmas videos I did a base using plastic candy canes. I turned out pretty.
Hi Your video was amazing - thank you! After a few hours, my water bead rose to the top and spilled out of the vase. Any suggestions.I did have a different water bead - but any help would be great! Thanks Tee
Hi Tasheika, that happened to me before. Try using lesser beads. Over a few days they will continue to expand so you will have to remove them and add more water. They absorb the water fast. I’m glad that you like the video. Thanks so much luv!

Thank you! Great question. I’m testing them out now. According to the instruction, you have to change the water out every two days. However, it’s been several days four days and I notice that the water level is low. I will have to add more water and remove some of the beads because they have expanded a lot.

It can last for months. You have to keep adding water once they soak up the water. I had to remove some of the water beads as well because they will swell up. Thanks so much luv!

Yes, I kept the decor on my table for a few months. I had to keep adding water every so many days. Sometimes I had to remove some f they swelled up too much.

Yes I’ve used them several times. I have a few other videos using them in my decor.

i am going to make these for our class reunion. I ordered the water beads and the floating pearls. I tried to follow your video step by step but all my pearls end up in the bottom with very little of them spaced throughout my cylinder. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I want to use this old truffle dish as a center piece for an outdoor party. Would some rocks and shells with the pearls and candle give the same effect?
Yes, that is going to be pretty. I used a string of beads in another video like this.
This is very smart. One question though. How long do these beads retain water?
Hi Ali, they lasted for the entire month of February for me. I didn’t use them longer than one month. I had to remove some and add more water every few days. The beads soak up the water.

Great Question, I’m sure it is enough. I made the three that you see in this video and I have two other videos using some of the beads. I have a lot left.

Hi yes, they are hard. They will soften after you add water.
