Topping it with a yellow or spiced mustard along with the cheese and a couple dill pickle slices is also good. We toast the buns. To make is spicier, add red pepper flakes.

yes, very messy to eat, but that's why it's called sloppy joe. i usually dice up half an onion and cook it before adding the meat, but manwich is pretty good by itself with just the meat. ground/minced turkey also works well.

A bit of shredded sharp cheddar works way better as a topping than American cheese with this stuff
If everyone in the house wants cheese, just mix and melt a small bag of shredded cheddar in the sloppy joe mix right before serving

Spread some bacon fat or butter on the buns and toast them in a broiler. Then place a slice of American cheese, a spoonful of SJ. Additionally make this SJ recipe and build your own bowl of Frito Pies topped with shredded cheese.

Add garlic and chopped onion to meat while you cook it, gives better flavor, and use real cheese. You can skip the bread next time, put sloppy joe over mashed red potatoes, or use chicken breast in a slow cooker ( crockpot) shred chicken and add manwich

People...Make sure your hamburger is cooked well before you add your sauce...because if you dont ..someone is going to get sick...in this video some of the meat was still raw when he added the sauce....some people just pour the sauce in long enough to warm it... but not long enough for the meat to finish cooking.... so please be careful...
