- This area of the lawn does not look pretty. The Robot visits to less. See for yourself if the mower deserves it. I think it was good for the lawn and didn't harm the robot.
Please read these comments before you buy this robot mower. Wireless is a lie for this Vision robot for most users. If you do not have a visually different boundary between your lawn and your neighbors, the robot will mow both lawns. If the lawn is continuous from yard to yard, you will need to create a boundary with a continuously magnetic strip. Most of the lawns in my city are boundaryless from neighbor to neighbor. The magnetic strip option is needed to separate the yards from one another. And the magnetic strips is EXPENSIVE! I think I would rather have the wire. Wire is cheap. Also, the magnetic strip will need raising every few years due to grass covering it and signal gets weak. There has to be a better way!
I had the same problem, since I removed the high grass over 10cm from the lawn by manual, the mowing looks much better now.
Yes works. Unfortunately I have to do this every two weeks.
Bold for something with Cut To Edge written down the side of it lol.
Why did it not cut the grass in that area so it grew that tall?
Do you use the automatic schedule based on grass type and so on? I have a manual schedule and activated cut to edge every day. That seems to help for me.
The tall grass that it's avoiding at first usually gets mowed after a few runs because it turns around and the back cuts a small part of it until it's small enough so it doesn't stop but runs over it. In the manual it says it won't cut if it's 10 cm or more.
The edge, and the concrete circle, must be cut manually of course.
It looks like your grass is growing really fast. =)
Yes, it is growing a bit tooooo fast 😁
At the Moment I use a manually set scedule and not the automatic mode. Two days a week, the robot mows the edges - as noted in the manual.
Yes, the mower does not cut longer grass. I wish there was a function in the app to let the mower ride with his wheel on the floor next to the lawn. But it does not exist at the moment 😕
i would like to buy a vision, but really - it is worthless.
why?
because it avoids tall grass and cant cut to edge.
then the edge grass, gets taller and taller and you will have to cut it manuelly.
thats why i have come to the conclusion, that i might only be satisfied with a landroid - wired.
I sent mine back in the meantime. Mine was useless!
Who buys Vision?!
I gave mine back.
I would never buy something like this. It is so inefficient just randomly cutting at so many angels. You can see it mows over already mowed areas. What a waste. I prefer the ones that cut in straight lines and lets you change the angle so you get cut-ruts' or wheel-ruts. I'll pass
Had an other model from a different manufacturer before, orienting via wire. Belive me the worx is much better in not mowing the same spaces again and again. And I am not sponsered by anyone. But the quality of the mower itselfe was better form the previous manufacturer.
