Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!" - Zábava
Steve Buscemi is so awesome, and he doesn't even try.
He's funny looking. More than most people even.
A former NYFD firefighter who volunteered to look for survivors on 09/11
Steve was literally the one guy who didn’t get brutally killed in Reservoir Dogs.
Nah be escaped quinten confirmed it
@@harrytrott7922 Mr. Pink spinoff when Quentin?
@@harrytrott7922 no he didn’t, you can hear in the background him get arrested
because he's professional
@@brandonluck159 I think I remember hearing he escaped prison, that's probably what Harry meant
I'm pretty sure Steve Buscemi is that kind of actor that directors love to work with
He's such a sweet and humble guy.
Even if he's kinda funny lookin'
Thats why he dies in movies.
@tuttt99 You mean because he's not circumcised?
@@tuttt99 he looks just fine.
Unlike Nucky
1. Chopped up with an axe and fed to a woodchipper in Fargo.
My favorite death scene for him btw sweet avatar.
+tech noir
2. Killed in Miller's Crossing to provide a dead body double for John Turturro's character.
Technoir that’s a good one
The leg in the woodchipper was excellent method acting.
that's gotta hurt
Got nothing but love for Steve. His actions with NY firefighters after nine-eleven showed what a mensch he is.
My ex hubby actually knew him and I got to meet him once. Very humble man and one of the kindest people you ever want to meet!!
Steve Buscemi speaks like a gentleman! I have always enjoyed his movies and in my opinion he should be given more leading man roles....
Disagree, only becuase being a character actor is what makes Steve so great.. He's not a leading man, he's the guy that shows up in one scene and steals the movie from the leading man..
Game of Thrones should cast Steve Buscemi for a guest appearance, give him a few lines, and then immediately kill him in the most epic way possible.
Hodor.
+michael myroniuk if theres a petition for this, i'll sign
It's Buscemi
+michael myroniuk While Buscemi is up there in movie deaths, he's not even in the top ten. According to The Nerdist, as of 2014, Buscemi had 12 TV and movie deaths. For comparison:
12: Steve Buscemi, Johnny Depp, Christopher Walken, Michael Caine, John Leguizamo, Ed Harris
13: Bill Paxton, Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, Liam Neeson, Val Kilmer
14: Nicholas Cage, Gary Oldman
15: Samuel L Jackson
17: Lance Henriksen
19: Robert de Niro
22: Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Gary Busey, Mickey Rorke
25: Sean Bean
33: Vincent Price
36: Bela Lugosi
43: John Hurt (On the off chance you don't recognize the name, arguably his most iconic on-screen death was the Chestburster scene in Alien, which he reprises in the gas station scene in Spaceballs)
They already cast Sean Bean in GoT, Vincent Price and Bela Lugosi are actually dead (and it's not one of their movies where they'll come back to life in the sequel), but John Hurt is alive. As a bonus, Hurt has an English accent, while I doubt that Buscemi could really pull one off. Of the people on that list, I think that Michael Caine and Liam Neeson could easily pull off a brief cameo, and Gary Oldman would be amazing, but a cameo would be a waste of his talent.
NamesForDogs - drops the mic and walks away...
Randall is so polite outside Monster's Inc. still love this man!
ermahgerd I'M HERE FOR HIM XD Randall
He makes me smile so much. He’s so authentic and sweet.
One of the greatest underrated thespians ever! Love him since Reservoir Dogs!
+Paul Ramos I think he's straight
+zack williams A thespian is an actor.
+zack williams he's just trying to look fancy or something.
The wood chipper in "Fargo" tops the list for me. Then again, that was more of a disposal method than an actual cause of death. He was hacked to death with an ax first.
His character was also NEARLY killed at two points earlier in the movie...when Shep thrashed him with the belt and when Wade shot him.
I came here to say this.
Such a class act Steve Buscemi.
is it weird that I find him extremely charming?
Nope.
Absolutely not. He is extremely charismatic!!!
Why would it be weird? Because he's funny lookin'?
I find him attractive too
Neal X Gaming Funny lookin? In what way?
Steve Buscemi is the guy that nobody can say anything bad about, and nailed every single role perfectly!
"He's funny looking. More so than others and he wasn't circumcised"
Lol funny looking apart from that??
Uhh yeah huh
@@canucksfan7332 you know, funny lookin in a general kind of way

Shut THE FUCK UP DONNIE! 😂😂😂

One of the most talented and incredibly humble actors in Hollywood.
At least Buscemi doesn't die as much as Sean Bean.
+bmesick Imagine them both being cast as co-stars in a movie.
+z beeblebrox Shortest yet most watchable movie ever!
+undeny 😁😁😁
Then watch "The Island" :DDD
You got Steve and Sean in one movie.
Sean Bean is still miles behind the late great Sir John Hurt! He got killed like twice as much as Bean.
i love buscemi, great actor and person.
"I've always wanted to be a movie gallant, it's in my blood. Unfortunately I don't have it on my face"
Steve Buscemi
Do you think God stays in heaven because he too, lives in fear of what he's created?
I was not expecting anything like that to come out of Spy Kids 2.
such a crazy ass line from a childrens film. lol
no.
God knows what he's doing.

What a nice guy.
Tony Soprano with a shotgun wasn’t bad.

I love when they pay their respects to Donny
+YarrBr0 One of the most hilarious tragicomic scenes in cinema ever
Donny was a good bowler, and a good man. He was one of us. He was a man who loved the outdoors - and bowling, and as a surfer, he explored the beaches of Southern California, from La Jolla to Leo Carrillo and up to Pismo. He died, he died as so many young men of his generation before his time. In your wisdom, Lord, you took him, as you took so many bright flowering young men at Khe Sanh, at Langdok, at Hill 364. These young men gave their lives. And so would Donny. Donny, who loved bowling. And so, Theodore Donald Karabotsos, in accordance with what we think your dying wishes might well have been, we commit your final mortal remains to the bosom of the Pacific Ocean, which you loved so well. Good night, sweet prince.

Beard, meet wind.
He's such a great actor and seems like he's a cool guy irl. There's a reason he's loved by millions
Love this actor so much! For all the vile characters he plays, he's so down to earth! And his voice work in cartoons is spot on!
Just a superb actor. He can adapt to whatever the role calls for. He can draw out a scene for dramatic effect, deliver carefully crafted dialogue with nuance or just do great improvisation if the scene requires it.
Most underrated actor ever! Should've won an oscar for his role in Fargo.
He is one of the best actors ever. One of my favorite one as well
Fargo- Axe to the head and disposed of in wood-chipper. "Are we square?"
One of the best actors of our times.
The-Most-Underrated-Actor
I love how he's totally ok with his characters getting killed off, and then takes it even further and makes it into a kind of running gag.
Boardwalk Empire was his Magnum Opus, Fargo was a close 2nd.
Sopranos
Reservoir Dogs at number three!
@@eLiFILMSinc true
I always though he was perfect as Mink, the Dane’s boy/lover in Miller’s Crossing, he surpassed that as a 1920’s gangster in Boardwalk Empire
He's been in so many of my favorite movies, Reservoir Dogs, Fargo, just everything. He is great.
Steve Buscemi is such a great actor...Great in every single film I have seen him in.
He just seems like such a nice person
99% of this interview is Steve pronouncing the word “Buscemi”
Paul Kryder not bad kid
Amazingly likeable guy. I think the fact most of us here in the comments seem so surprised only goes to show how good of an actor he is.
For an actor who has played some whacked-out and/or downright sinister characters, he's such an affable guy in real-life. This snippet showcases his class and genuine warmth. Thanks for posting!
I was sure he was going to list his character's death in Fargo. He really is a great actor.
Notice how the audience reacts as soon as he starts talking. Even his voice is iconic.
Buscemi is a genius.....he even got me to suffer through 3.5 minutes of Colbert.
I loved this series so much , my son bought me the box set , I was over the moon with them , awesome series
I would LOVE to meet him in person. He is such a wonderful man.
One of my favorite actors. I watched The Sopranos all the way through a couple years after it went off the air, and when I first saw him enter the show I was so hyped.
I'm re-watching it again right now. he fits so well in that show
Why do I have to be Mr. Pink?
Paul Solomon be thankful you're not mr. Yellow
Sounds like Mr Pussy
Or mr. brown sound like mr. shit
Everybody wants to be Mr. Black...he's working another job
Do you hear that? It's the winds of change.
Was working the premier of rainmaker at paramount and I watched him go around the bushes to skip the red carpet, such a humble guy and I love him in every Sandler movie.
What a wonderful and underrated man. If you haven't read up on his 911 heroics you should! Love everything he does!
This guy's a hero. Firefighter and 9/11 responder! Thank you Steve!
This man is a LEGEND! More brilliant roles than can even be counted.
Wood-chipped in Fargo, hands-down the best. And sorry for the spoilers.
I vote for the wood chipper.
Loved him in "Fargo", he was so amazing !
Buscemi= RESERVOIR DOG'S!!!!!!
Mr. Pink. Loved him. ❤
"Some guy on some other job is Mr. Purple.... You're Mr. Pink!!"
Isn't it ironic that he actually got out alive in that movie?
CBright7831 maybe he got catched by cops
hey what's up guys? - That's what happened. You can hear him scream "I GIVE UP!" at the end of the film.

Steve Buscemi's and tim roth are my favourite actors.

thnx Steve for all your work!
I love this man
omg this is probably the first interview I've ever seen him in.
Man anybody who Steve plays in a show or movie he just does a great job he’s a legend…
Steven Buscemi is a genuine American hero. I read recently that he started in Brooklyn NY as a real fireman. Beginning the day after the 9/11 WTC terror attack he worked long hours for a week with the firemen helping locating victims.
Szanowanie (respect) Steven!! Take a bow!! With sincere continued affection & admiration of your craft.
I don't tip. I don't believe in it.

I love this late night talk show format.

His death on Boardwalk Empire was pretty damn memorable. But lest not forget, he survived Reservoir Dogs! (Though you can hear him being arrested by the cops outside the warehouse).
No you can hear him get shot. Check again.

Love how he explicitly said it wasn't his favorite yet they titled the clip that anyway.
"When I was 35 years old, he attempted to give me a crew cut when I was sleeping one afternoon. I woke up, broke his arm, haven't seen him since. I'd rather live out on the streets then his freaky ass rules" From Big Daddy Movie!!! LOL
Why is this guy just a supporting actor? ❤

his character on 30 rock is still one of my faves
How do you do, fellow kids?
As great as he is, and as much as he’s accomplished, my favourite Buscemi moment will always be the “Telephone Line” scene from Billy Madison.
