when you said "some of you are chunks of meat without sentience" i felt that
I hope v2 get you canner, v1 better 🦧
Is viper v3 and razer DeathAdder v3 similar size?
Video not even done yet im overwhelmed by how shocking this comparison was! 😱😱😱 (SHOCKING)
I hope v2 get you canner, v1 better 🦧
@@Gas99999 what the crappington?!
I'm still using my Viper v2 pro mostly, if I was getting one today I'd get the Viper v3 pro. Thumbs up!
I hope v2 get you canner, v1 better 🦧
My Viper v2 pro's scroll wheel died within 1 month (double scroll + reverse scroll)
And the hyperpolling dongle has very big disconnection and pairing issues
The mouse itself is good and faster that gpx2 but very un ergonomic and starts paining my hand within a few hours
I would still say gpx2 is better because it doesn't have any outright issues
If sora v2 actually had a higher polling rate i would ditch both and get that (but it is still on 1000hz and no update on if it will be upgraded or have a new dongle for purchase, which is very bad since it launched such a while ago)
Ngl this was rlly good at being both in depth and getting to the point
also funny af
I have 19x11cm hands and I find the Viper V3 Pro great for fingertip. I've always wanted wider than average fingertip mice and this fits the bill. It's a tiny bit longer than I'd like but I can do everything I want with it and the performance is just unparalleled.
I don't know about the other people complaining about the front right corner, but I don't care that it flares out. I just wish it was rounded so that I could use it as a grip point. I think that sort of thing is also why Zowie, Logitech, and now Vaxee have always been commended for their shapes. There isn't a grip style you can't use with them.
No, you're just like them.
Why would you want your favorite shape on every other mouse, including this V3 Pro? You want this mouse? Keep using your favorite one.
You already have one of those mice from those manufacturers, don't you?
The Logitech mouse you mentioned is being compared to this masterpiece in this video.
Zowie and Vaxee are also top quality mice, that's enough, you want to infect Razer too?
@@ThinkingFaces I’m only talking about from a practical perspective. What real benefit does having sharp corners vs rounded corners bring to the functionality of the mouse. From my perspective, I see no benefit.
And in what way would changing the front corners affect everyone’s favorite shape, if they don’t grip the mouse that far forward. It’s purely a visual change at that point. Completely non-impactful.
Picked one up today, I came from the GPX1. I am very happy with my purchase. As someone with rather large hands, the gpx didn’t sit right with me at first, but I grew to love it over the last year of use. However, literally the second I grabbed the V3 pro, I knew I bought the right mouse.
Dude same it felt like I was pinching to grab my mouse cause of my hands and fingers being bigger
I have small hands and the v3 pro still feela great. Both the DAV3 and the V2 pro feel too large for me to handle, but the shape of the v3 pro feels great. I would say that a V3 pro mini would be optimal for me, but I've switched from a Lamzu Maya to the V3 pro and have had no issues. Very good mouse.
I own 20 mice because I have a problem. I've never bought the same mouse but after getting V3 Pro I ordered a second black copy to use with glass pads. It's fantastic imo
Have you tried the sora v2? Debating between the v3 pro and that.
@@sethviews I couldn’t chose too and now I ordered both of them 💀
@@sethviews, Yeah I got the Sora V2 in the beginning of February. Definitely a fantastic mouse but very different shape wise. The Sora definitely feels smaller and designed for claw. It's almost too light to me. It feels cheap because of the low weight but still a great mouse. The build quality and tech on the V3 is better. And if you have even close to large hands I'd say the V3 for sure. Again they're both great mice but personally I would pick the V3. Smaller hands and exclusively a claw gripper I'd say the Sora. Can't go wrong either way honestly. Also the Sora as of now is only 1K if that matters to you.
@@thinkforyourself5672 Ty homie! 💙
@@sethviewssora v2 doesn’t come with the 8k dongle it’s only 1k unless you buy the dongle separately which isn’t even out yet
Just ordered the viper v3 pro excited to try it out!
I tried the gpx and it felt kinda small to take in my hand and for my confort relaxed fingertip/claw. I have a g403 which is quite big so i feel like viper v3 would be more fitting for me even tho it is bigger than my actual mouse.
Than you for your comparison ! Great vid
Im actually thankful the viper series has that front flare. Coming from a model o pro I click on that right edge flare. The whole reason I never got a gpx actually lol
0:47 - 1:00 I couldn't have said it better myself. Seriously, just taking off the bottom cover from my GPX2 made a small but noticeable difference
I use it without the puck as well it feels substantially faster and balanced
razer should give a pair of extra mouseskates in their box for their flagship mice and even other mice , people dont want to pay for shipping and go the hassel of searching 3rd party sites when their skates are damaged , other than that great mouse and just hope the battery life lasts for 3/4 years before showing signs of degradation
Yes sirrrr nice video, now if you can do Lamzu Atlantis 4k vs Ninjutso Sora V2
Sora v2
That stain on the left side of the ViperV3PRO, THANK YOU! I thought I was buggin, my DAV3 has this exact stain on the left side (for a long time). I've tried to clean and wipe it many many times but it still shows. I was first thinking this might be some juice from the internals (battery) but, idk... i'd post a picture of it here if it would be possible.
Pretty sure that stain mentioned is just slight rubbing on the pad in that area which polished it. Don't have mine yet but from what I've seen it looks like the plastic somewhat dips down in that area? Either way seems more like polished plastic and nothing to be concerned about.
So the viper v3 pro doesn’t have KPU coating? Because if it doesn’t I would say even comparing that to GPX coating is kinda sad. GPX coating seems to just die immediately when it gets slightly sweaty or oily. Polar opposite of Zowie.
Have you experienced disconnects with the v3 pro? I keep getting them much less tho after updates
can u pls make a video describing all the artisan pads and how good they +good vid
I love the V3 Pro for claw, it actually has a shape compared to the GPX which is just hella awkward. Only critic I have on the V3 is M1 & M2 comfort groves are a little dramatic lol
Why do most mice still use mechanical wheel encoders? Optical encoders are far more reliable. Is this because of the feel and price?
I don't want to go with heavy G502x or Basilisk to get freakin optical scroll wheel. Zowie and Vaxee are kinda extreme in their plug-n-play philosophy, I want at least some customization. Some Cooler Master mice have optical wheels, but they are mostly shit.
What am I supposed to buy? Wired g502x with awful stiff cable because it's lighter? Come on
I will never give up my GPX
What skates can I use for the V3 pro? I currently own a GPX2 with SuperglideV2 and I'm looking for the same for the V3 pro.
Do you think the Viper V2 pro will get an updated version following the release of the V3 since the shape is different ect...?
Probably not just guessing
White has incredible feeling coating... it's going to mess my entire desk aesthetic.
As someone with a weird ass ringfinger I could never curl around the original viper's front flare without it hurting my hand after a while. Love the performance of my old viper 8k, but went to the GPX2 after a while for the painless use(I tried a clone before blowing my money on it) I might try this one at a store to see how the changed shape is.
hey boardzy, can you test whether the viper v3 pro hyperpolling dongle can be used in other razer mouse? i just bought mine and it seems not working
Logitech also has the option to enable 4K when launching a game, while using 1K for desktop use for example. Somehow I feel like a LOT of users don't know it's a thing with Logitech.
I can use my GPX2 for several weeks.
Razer has the same feature for the V3 Pro now as well
Isn’t that with separate game profiles in g hub? That had always been buggy in my experience
@@boardzy Yes, you need to create profiles per game. But it's a small hassle to create 1 or 2 profiles for you FPS games. I just use 2K for CS2 and everything else operates at 1K. I've had no bugs at all with it. Works perfectly on my end.
How is the coating difference between the viper v2 pro and the v3 pro?
I have smallish hands and mained the viper mini for ages but viper v3 is way easier to grip for me over the superlight 2. The egg is just too smooth and slippery.
lowkey i really think any coating is better than the GPX, it works but there are some durability issues with it
Yo boardzy have you tried the 1440p oled 360hz monitors since because the lg one didn’t cut it
Been using my V3 for about a week. Overall, I think GPX wins for me in terms of shape.. its just so comfortable and I am much more consistent with it while the v3 takes a little for me to warm up and while my aim has higher peaks at times it also is much lower points.
Think about how much time you have with the GPX shape vs v3p
What skates did you put on your viper v3??
What’s better in general any of the Beast X versions or viper v3 pro
Yo, what corepads did you get for your white one? I wanna get some cuz i dont care for the stock ones rn
They are Frankenskates. He mentions it in one of his earliest reviews of viper v3 pro. I think it might have been the first vid on it. I'm gonna try out tiger ice viper v2 pro skates on it
The gpx you can also make to only have higher polling rate in game, i have only 4k in cs2 and everything else is 1k
Dang, I'm really shocked now!
I have a question do the Mouseskates of the Logitech g pro superlight fit on the Attackshark x3
Hey! currently using the Hayate otsu soft with tiger arc 1s but I want to get the Zero, what feet would be the best option? I don't want to use tiger ice feet, as I want a little more control but don't want a complete "mud" setup (if I were to keep my arc 1s on with the zero. Would normal corepads be the play? And would the static friction be bad with the corepads x zero soft
edit: I mainly play Valorant and other tac shooters
corepads pro prolly
what mouse do i get?, I currently have the logitech g pro x superlight.
@boardzy what skates would you recommend for the sora v2
Razer Viper v3 Pro vs vxe r1 ?
just bought superlight 2 and I can say that this mouse is worth it
I think the obv winner is the viper because the shaper is slightly, so it would in theory lock in ur grip. Howevr my DAv3 was a tin can.. dropped it and broke it
Normally I'm a Deathadder main. I'm currently using the Viper V2 pro Black right now. I really want to get the Viper V3 white soon! Since I actually liked the new redesign and I heard some people said that the Viper V3 is big and if it's big, it's perfect for me! Since I have big ass hands!
get black unless you are a sweatlord the black coating is unreal
@@197k71white coating is so much nicer
@@layla8867 your vids are hard 🔥🔥🔥🔥 to watch
@@197k71 huh
@@197k71 I'm rlly confused LMAO I've tried both costings and just prefer the white one, the general consensus is it's beyter
The thing you said about the viper v2 pro scroll wheel my wheel was going bad and the way i fixed was literally just blowing into it i think dust had gotten itto it and was causing problems as of rn that fixed it.
NOTI GANG 😈😈 (SHOCKING)
I hope v2 get you canner, v1 better 🦧
@@Gas99999 bro what
Thanks, after buying 15+ wireless mouse i’ll go ahead and buy this one as well 👍🏼
When you said you try finger tilling or clawing the G X PRO and you would end up holding it sideways I felt that😂
Honestly the Razor v3 sounds like a better option for me. I’ve only ever used a the Super light and I feel like it’s too small width wise and it’s also not tall enough to properly claw for me
They have exactly the same width though
i wonder if the rvmse will have the new sensor with the next drop?
what is your ulmb2 pulse width set at on your pg27aqn monitor? 100 or lower?
Usually 100, sometimes 80 but not often lower than that. Not sure how much im missing out but below 50 seems too dim
@@boardzy thsnks for your reply. I use 80 when playing CS2 and other games. Some people recommend 50 for more motion clarity but that is so dim imo. I dont think its much of a difference though.
The bad build quality overtime plagued the DAV3, I really want to stop buying that mouse and have logitech make a G703 superlight. However the viper v2 pro has passed the test of time in terms of creeking so not sure, currently a GPX 2 user.
I don't care at all about all of these ambidextrous mouses(misspelled on purpose)! Shocking!
But I enjoy your ability to truly give an actual review because you can actually feel the difference between a soft and an extra soft artisan pad.
As well as your unbelievable ability to tell what sensor is in the mouse 🤯 SHOCKING!
1:57 Can you also give me the edge Boardzy? I love edging 🥰🥰
havent watched yet and im already shocked
I’m just waiting till they release a mini version
Atk (vxe and vgn) is gonna release a 3950 mouse called X1 it’s significantly smaller than the v3 pro but the plot is that the shape is more similar to the gpx so it’s not really a v3 pro shape
My viper v2 pro scroll wheel died within a month (double scroll + reverse scroll)
And the hyperpolling dongle has very big disconnection and pairing issues
The mouse itself is good and faster that gpx2 but very un ergonomic and starts paining my hand within a few hours
I would still say gpx2 is better because it doesn't have any outright issues so i prefer using that all the time now
If sora v2 actually had a higher polling rate i would ditch both and get that (but it is still on 1000hz and no update on if it will be upgraded or have a new dongle for purchase, which is very bad sign since it launched such a while ago)
Same, had 2 other razor mice before switching to the gpx2 and the razor mice all had connection issues.
To clarify my experience, the default razer dongle works perfectly with viper v2 pro and has no issues. But it is just 1000hz
I got the hyperpolling dongle for 4/8kz and it just keeps giving nonstop problems. I thought it would be my unit but after checking forums it's the same for everyone
Though since viper v3 pro default dongle comes with 4k i guess it shouldn't be an issue
However i still wouldn't give razer a chance because of their scroll wheel issues (both by viper v2 pro and viper mini wired instantly had this issue within a month)
Does anyone have any good suggestions for something like sora v2 but with 4-8k out of the box ?
I wanted to buy the viper v3 pro but the logitech GPX 2 is alot cheaper in my country so it sounds like a better buy for me.
What skates are you using on the superlight 2 pls let me know
Nvm thankss
i can see the a75 in the back.
incoming shocking DDA75 Pro review .
i hope viper v3 pro stays away from scroll wheel issues which did occur in deathadder v3 pro!
This. I had to get rid of my Deathadder V3 Pro even though I loved it. The scroll wheel stopped working properly to the point where I'd try to scroll down the page but it would scroll up the page.
@P3RF3CTD3ATH this happened to my GPX 1 and I was thinking about getting the DAV3 Pro. Looks like they have the same issue :/
@@mxneymarxo8074 i have same issue with gpx as well of double clicking the left fire button! Dav3 pro has it with scroll wheel!
@@lkalra98 let's hope the Viper V3 doesn't have any scroll wheel issues as that might be the next best option
@@mxneymarxo8074 yes i was about to buy dv3 pro but i am waiting for Vv3 pro reviews!
Picking one up later today. Only black is available which sucks
I only turned off motion sync cuz of battery. My X2H battery almost doubled when I turned it off. not saying battery is bad with it on though.
I bought this mouse for the 8k polling rate but I can’t use it. It’s causing frame stutters and I don’t know why. Help?
Weak processor or old game
Is DAV3 white coating the same as Viper?
The stain is you picking the mouse up and putting it down sideways could be you just tilt the mouse alot so it rubs on the pad or the skates are too thin, every one of my gpxs has this "stain" on the left bottom side, hope this helps.
Someone else said it’s lube they put to prevent creaking which seems more likely
Hey boardzy, Should i get wlmouse beast x max or wait the ultralight x batch 4? and i want to spam clicks so fast what switches do u advice for me? And which switches would be better for me omron opticals or TTC Nihil Transparent Black Dot?
pls answer
Probably the max because nobody really knows how long the wait will be for ULX. I would say omron opticals but it’s a preference. If you do cop use code boardzy 🫡
@@boardzy thanks for answer
Im currently using gpx2 but clicks feels so heavy so idk about omron opticals, is all omron optical switches has that heavy feeling?
@@Blazeadc No, their omron opticals are lighter. I did find the nihils to be a bit stiff, watch my fabulous beast version review where I covered them
my gpx (1) actually is creeking towards the front end like basically in front of the forward side button
deathadder v3 or viper v3 pro for pincer claw grip?
just try the shapes out for yourself
is there any difference in the clicks of deathadder v3 wired and wireless
Deathadder wired = mechanical clicks
Got smaller hands (shocking I know) but the viper v2 pro fits so much more better than the gpx which was to big
What's the better option if you pretty much just play palm grip?
Both work honestly, to someone who has neither id probably recommend the viper
On my mouse motion sync adds input delay 100% its noticeable but its a g wolves htx4k
0:50
😂😂😂😂 You should start your own comedy subreddit bro hahahah😂😂😂
the liquid on the razer v3 bottom is prob due to oily grease they started using to hide/stop creaking
The black razer mouse should have white logo for it to be known as razer.
they’re cutting corners 🤣🤣
yo boardzy what is the most accurate mouse like the gpx shape but with softer clicks and better side buttons
I mean the viper v3 I guess but accurate is a weird word to describe it
@@boardzy Wouldn't be much good if it didn't make the pointer go where you wanted
@@boardzyother alternatives?
i just want a stock, usb c, superlight at less than 50 grams. 49 would be acceptable. i love my superlight. ive had my v1 for a couple years and theres still no creaking. its a good mouse. it has great battery life and it does what its meant to. i would still like to see the weight cut down especially since no one uses the charging base lets be real
I just got the gxs 2 for a decent deal $125 brand new. Yall think its worth returning and getting the viper v3 pro?
If you enjoy it I dont see a reason to especially at a discounted price
@boardzy I do enjoy it. It's just that I saw a lot of ppl bashing on the gxs2. TY Boardzy.
And here I am over here finger-tipping a Dav3 Pro.
shocking!
I’m so conflicted if I like my viper v3 pro better or ULX. ULX weight is just so nice and my aim feels better/snappier. Razer’s feel and sensor is just so responsive and just feels so good. 😢
I definitely feel snappier with the ULX and like the lighter weight, but shape and stability is better with the v3 pro for me
@@boardzy valid my bro
I’ve really love the changes Razer has been making with their mice in the last 2-3 years, I used to hate the tacky designs and forcing that hideous tramp stamp logo. They really need a new cleaner logo imo.
if they made a mini version it would be worth it (for me)
In short, Razer Viper V3 pro has newer, more modern and ergonomic shape and more precise sensor/tracking (thanks to motion sync). Logitech G Pro x Superlight 2 has more neutral, safer shape and superior battery life.
The stock skates are way better than the Superlight, but still significantly worse than aftermarket skates sadly.
Please fix your microphone peaking
I'd buy a wired Viper V3 Mini 8K in a heartbeat for $65 if it existed, sad to say i'll have to get OP18K instead (i got tiny had so DAV3 wired is not an option for me).
3:45 People are too afraid to adapt their grip, it's like they think they're gonna lose their skill, or some "muscle memory" bs. I used fingertip for years, then I adapted easily to palm grip, then I went back to fingertip again. It only takes a week to adapt. Next will be claw grip with this Viper V3 Pro :D
Same lmfao it happened yesterday I performed better on claw even tho I main fingertip LMAO
bro farming the soul outta the viper v3 pro
You said it! I feel the Razer Viper V3 Pro is simply just better.
Man this is such a good mouse! Better than any other mouse I own! And I own more mice than this guy. I own 6 GPX differently moded and I feel that for my hands v3 pro kicks it out of the park. It’s very well balanced. This guy is right though that you can fell the difference going from 60 to 55 to 49 grams.
v3 pro or op1 8k, who better?
Pretty much just comes down to size and wired vs wireless preference
I have larger hand kinda... 21x11cm, got both mouses. I prefer GPX2...Razer Viperv3 is just too short for me sry
Both my v3 pro had side flex out the box one had button accusation with the flex and both kept disconnecting from the dongle
as a more sentient than average piece of meat, this is a based video.
the scrollwheel broke on my gpx and now idk if I should spend more money and get the viper v3 or get a gpx2 (I can get a new gpx2 for around 100$)
I have gpx and i just ordered v3 pro. If you have normal/wide hands, it should fit well
Side buttons on my GPX 2 are awful, love everything else. Viper 3 comes today, lets see who wins
im getting both i guess
